She’s brutally beautiful, fiercely independent, and totally out of my league. But I’m obsessed.
From the moment I first saw her, I knew she was mine. The trick is trying to convince her she likes me. She fights me every step of the way, refusing to give me a chance.
Loving her comes with conditions. The biggest one, loving her son as much as I love her. She doesn’t think it’s possible. She doesn’t trust me enough to let me in, to prove to her that they are mine.
It’s not until she calls me for help, terrified and alone that her walls come crumbling down around her. Finally, she lets me in and I finally, finally, have them, my family.
Apart, we were surviving. Together, we’re living.
Kennedy
He’s crazy. He’s a biker. He’s dangerous. I shouldn’t be attracted to him. But I am.
I can’t let him in, not yet. Not until he can show me he’s more than just a player and dangerous biker. Not until he shows me that he’ll be the man my son deserves and the man I need.
It’s not until I’m attacked that I realize how much he cares, how much he loves. He takes my son under his wing, and together, they soar. But more than that, we soar. Together.
He might be crazy, he might be a walking red flag, but he’s mine. And I’m his.

Hi, I'm Haley Tyler, a dark romance author from Texas!
I’m the one behind the gritty Salvatore Brotherhood MC series and the dark paranormal romance Calling on the Reaper. My stories are filled with characters you love to hate and plots that twist and turn when you least expect it.
I’ve been telling stories my whole life, but I officially became a published author in 2021 with my debut novel, Killing Calm (book 1 in the SBMC series!). Since then, I’ve been living and breathing my dark, twisted worlds.
When I’m not writing, you can catch me listening to Taylor Swift or heavy metal (because there’s no in-between), binge-watching the latest TV series, or diving into a good romance novel.
If you’re looking for your next dark romance obsession, you’ve found it. Welcome to my world!
*****5 Obsessed Stars***** Gosh I love these series each book gets better and better not saying the book before is bad it just gets better. Kiwi was I story I was dying to get and he did not disappointment at all. Kiwi and Kennedy are toxic for each other but they are meant to be; once these two figured themselves out it the love just flowed. Kennedy has had a shitty pass with men and her focuses on her son. Kiwi not giving up on wining over Kennedy anyway he can. Kiwi is totally possessive and unhinged but loyal and hilarious; but he has demons and they will break your heart once they come to light. Kennedy is strong willed and stubborn to the boot and will face off with anyone and won’t take anyone’s crap. I can’t wait for more of this series
"You're just as fucking crazy as I am, aren't you?"
OUT MARCH 9th.
Man Possessed, the latest in Haley's SBMC series, focuses on Kiwi and Kennedy, the plot half revolving around Safe House.
Not Haley, making me second guess if Ryder is my fav out of the guys. Seriously, don't make me choose, I will cut you.
I love this world, and all of the characters, and Man Possessed is no exception.
Both Kiwi and Kennedy are unhinged, and crazy for each other, and I love that about them. Kiwi, from the very start, knew that Ken was who he wanted. My heart broke for him, learning his story and learning about details we got from very early on. You get both the different sides of him throughout; the ultimate craziness and dark, and the sweetheart, puppy love side.
And even Kennedy. You see the badass in her, from the beginning. She knows who she is, and isn't afraid to let you know if she doesn't like you. She's loyal to a fault, and if you hurt one of her chosen, may God have mercy on your soul. She's insane, but so loving and caring.
As someone who knows what Haley was going through while she was writing MP, she absolutely blew my mind, and again steps it up with every single new book.

the queen has done it again, with a fucking loving story. Girl i ate this shit up. For me personally, i didn’t find it triggering. im glad Kiwi gets his happiness and love. Im glad that ken and ian are happy. IT WAS SO CUTE
ian and enzo awww soo cute.
but i’m happy that kennedy called told kiwi (ezra) that she loves him, how they are both stubborn

Ms. Tyler was not kidding when she said they were toxic. They were the only exception for toxicness. Anyway this book is the whole reason I started this series and I’m not mad about. They lived up to what I expected. He gives Flame vibes (I can thank Ms. Cole for this MC addiction) but a more tame version, if that even possible. After all the toxic stuff it was all GREAT. I love the lack of kidnapping, I deeply appreciate that. Ezra’s love for them was insane, good insane. But what can we expect, Kennedy even reciprocated that love. Making this all the better 🫶🏼
“Don’t you want to make sure his proposal is good enough for your mom?” he asks, and Ian slides his eyes to me. I huff out a quiet laugh and drop Ezra’s hand. Grabbing my carrots and mustard, I walk around them. “Try again tomorrow,” I call over my shoulder. Ezra groans as he gets to his feet, his knees popping. “Maybe when the boys are busy with school.” I laugh as I plop on the couch. Rasputin jumps onto the couch and curls beside me, breathing hard. He stares at me until I give him a piece of carrot, then he jumps down and takes off down the hall. Listening to the boys talk and laugh in the kitchen makes a smile spread across my face as I eat my weird pregnancy craving. Ezra sits beside me, his shoulders slumped. “Yes,” I whisper. He glances at me, the box still clutched in his hand. “I’ll marry you, Ez.” When he gives me that slow grin of his, all I see is Kiwi. All I see is Ezra. All I see is my future, and the love of my life.”
It’s an amazing thing when you start the book thinking the main character is one thing and quickly realize there is so much more beneath the surface. I haven’t read character development done this well in a long time. I loved this book, kiwi might be my favourite of all the men in this series so far.
Kiwi. Kiwi. Kiwi. Kiwi Boy, you didn’t disappoint. I laughed until my stomach hurt. I got red faced angry at you and at Kennedy. My heart fell to my feet more than once. You didn’t surprise me in the least, but shocked me at many turns. The way that you loved Kennedy was so unexpected. The journey the two of you went on was simultaneously complicated and effortless. You knew what you wanted and stopped at nothing to get it. I admire that in a man. You jumped over every wall that Kennedy had built instead of knocking them down.
Kennedy. My girl. You are a force to be reckoned with. I resonated with you so much. You’ve always had to be the strong one. You are the one that everyone turns to when they need someone to lean on. You’ve never allowed anyone to take care of you because you felt like that would mean you were weak. You are the misunderstood grumpy, badass that just needed someone to wrap you up and never let you go. Ezra King was that man and you are the only woman that could deal with that man.
This story was incredible. I never wanted it to end. There is something about seeing yourself in the characters that you are reading about that changes everything. Hales wrote some of my favorite things in this book. You have to read it. Let’s find out if you can guess what they are.
Hales never fails me. I will be her hype girl until the end of time.
I jumped into book 5 as a standalone when I heard that the MMC was a biker from New Zealand. “Kiwi” as he’s called has is a golden retriever for dangerous women. By the end you’ll see that he is very good-natured. But more often then not his gentleness is overpowered by territorial manspreading, viøl3nt reactions and his obs3ss!on with sharp things.
For Kennedy though, this is the perfect combination to break through her very solid walls. As a single mother since 15, she’s done everything to survive and prioritize her son. But it’s all catching up with her. Kiwi inserts himself against her wishes as a protector aka very poss3s!ve boyfriend.
The story feels a bit clumsy at times but the redeeming thread is her son Ian. How he wants to protect his mom beyond his capabilities. How he becomes attached to Kiwi. And dealing with his own coming out. It was so compelling. Don’t worry, the spice is definitely there! Kiwi has a f!thly mouth- he even sold me on the scene with pointy objects.
Writing ⭐⭐⭐ + 💛 for the bisexual and family element.
Okay so I usually hate the undercurrent of toxic in book but I honestly loved this!📚 Hallelujah for a strong but emotional heroin that can admit when she’s scared but is also strong! ‘We’re all a little damaged’✌🏽
Man Possessed is the fifth book in the Salvatore Brotherhood MC series and is all about Kiwi and Kenny. It has been a long time coming, but let me tell you, it was well worth the wait and is up there as one of my favorites, along with Little Bear.
Where do I even start?
Anyone who knows me understands how much I adore SBMC, Ax, and, of course, Kiwi. Don't ask me to pick between Ax and Kiwi because I simply cannot and will not do it. I will happily be the filling in that juicy sandwich. Just saying.
I genuinely loved absolutely everything about it! The plot, character development, world building (IYKYK), and, of course, the steam—all of it. It was raw and emotional, but it was also extremely satisfying to go on that journey. Kiwi and Kenny give me life and are a breath of fresh air.
Kiwi is possessive, totally unhinged, loyal, and funny. He has his demons, and as heartbreaking as they are, they make me love him so much more.
Kenny is a fierce FMC, and I freaking love her. She is strong-willed and stubborn, holds her own, and doesn’t take crap from anyone, especially Kiwi.
While they are similar in some ways, they are complete and polar opposites in others, but together, they are explosive in the best way possible. Some may say they’re toxic, and I won’t lie, they are, but they are freaking perfect together. Their chemistry and pure need for one another were out of this world, and I just couldn’t get enough.
Hales, you have truly outdone yourself with this one, and I am so damn proud of you! I cannot wait to see where you take this series and the ones that follow!
Man Possessed is coming March 9th! If you haven’t read SBMC, do it; you won’t be disappointed!
If you like men who punch walls, this is the book for you 🤡 jkjk
Now don’t get me wrong 😭 the plot and characters were interesting (hence the 3 stars), just some of the dialogue and writing in certain situations were kind of cringe. There were also some things that felt unfinished/not really addressed/sweeped under the rug. I liked most of the characters and development between Ezra (Kiwi), Kens, and Ian. I’ll even add in Enzo!
The smut was good but wasn’t my favorite, not because of the kinks (there were some freaky deaky ones 😱 pls make sure to read the warning in the beginning of the book), but because of the way it was described and the ick I got from lwittle Ezra. Sorry sorry, there were just times he was kind of kiddish/immature and I wasn’t feeling it.
Overall it was fine, I had moments I liked and moments I didn’t 🤷🏽♀️
Man Possessed is book five in the Salvatore Brotherhood MC. I somehow missed the first four but I’ll definitely go back and read them all. This is Kennedy and Kiwi’s story. Kiwi is protective, possessive, overbearing, but at the same time sensitive and so full of love. Did I mention he’s also insane? But honestly, aren’t all the best ones? Kennedy is a single mom who has a shell so hard no man has been able to crack it. She doesn’t back down and gives as good as she gets. I am all about Kennedy and Kiwi. Maybe I’m messed up because they are toxic AF but I’m here for it. God I love these two. The intensity. The banter. I loved this book so much. I laughed. I caught myself giddy and smiling often. I cried. And let me tell you, it got hot in here. Like real hot. I loved everything about this book. How it was tragic, emotional, sweet, spicy, and it all flowed perfectly. Can’t forget Ian and Enzo. What a bonus to have these fine boys in the mix. Ez and Kens for life.
“I want to drink you down and absorb you into my blood.”
“I’m not some guy,” “I’m your soulmate.”
“You’ll never make me happy. You’ll never give, just a little fucking bit, so I can be happy.”
“I was going to fucking demand that she be with me. I wasn't going to give her a choice anymore, and if I had to kidnap her and keep her locked up until she agreed, then I was fully prepared to do it.”
“When I say I love you, Kennedy, it’s because there aren’t enough words to convey how much I feel for you. When I say I need you, it’s because I fucking need you to survive.”
“I have you.”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🔥🔥🔥🔥

This book has been one I've been looking forward to for quite some time now, and it was everything I could have hoped for and more! The plot, the character development, the SMUT, all of it is AMAZING.
Now everyone who knows about my love for the Salvatore Brotherhood MC knows that I am a total Reid girl (Book 3 of the Series). Like that is my MAN. BUT YOU GUYS!!!! Kiwi has made his way up there and tied with him after this book. I was expecting Kiwi's character to be lovable and crazy but Haley took it to a whole new level. This man is completely UNHINGED. Half the time you will find yourself saying "NO FRICKIN WAY" because the stuff that comes out of his mouth is just insane. While his character is absolutely nuts, he is lovable and so loyal to his family. I just wanted to put him in my back pocket and take him home with me. Kenny's character is perfect! She is the TOTAL opposite of Kiwi, yet it somehow works. While Kiwi is fun loving and crazy, Kenny is the ultimate grump. It was so refreshing reading a book with the reverse grumpy sunshine trope. Kenny's character is fiercely protective and she is such a great mom to Ian. The two of them make the ultimate pair that will have you on a wild ride from the very first chapter! Not gonna lie, there are definitely a few parts that had my chest aching while other parts you just wanted to knock some sense into one of them.
Not only are Kiwi and Kenny great, but Haley did an AMAZING job of developing side stories within the book as well! I don't want to spoil anything but Ian really stole my heart and I am hoping we will see more from him one day!
Now on to what I know you all want to know about ... the SMUT. When I tell you the SMUT IS SMUTTING, HOLY COW. Talk about blushing reading these scenes! These two really know how to get things going. There are so many hot moments it's hard to choose a favorite but Kiwi definitely knows what he is doing.
I HAVE A CONFESSION TO MAKE - this was my first Salvatore Brotherhood book. Even though its book 5 with current reviews and ARCs, I didn't have time to backread them. However. This book has put that straight to the tip of my lost once I'm out of the ARC hole I'm in.
Kiwi. Ezra. Omg this broken but beautiful man. A possessive and toxic morally grey MMC. You know the kind we all know and love. Yup. Those. He meets Kennedy when he walks into the MC's bar, and becomes OBSESSED. But in the nicest way.
Along the way we meet Ian and his best friend Enzo. They are the cutest and the book would he worth reading just for them to be honest. The way these broken pieces of people for together into the perfect blended family is just the best.
Now Kiwi does bad things and when I say toxic I mean TOXIC. But his heart really is in the right place. I can't wait to read about the other characters and what they've been up to along the way. Yet again @haleytylerthewriter didn't disappoint.
🖤 Quotes 🖤
'For every Kennedy out there, I hope you find your Kiwi.'
“This world needs a dark gem like you in it.”
'If he was dangling off the edge of a cliff with sharks swimming below, I'd dance on his fucking fingers.'
'Someone does something bad, that means they need to die. Simple as that. It’s why I have no problem with the blood on my hands. Even if I am a monster, I can justify it. '
❤️🔥 MC Romance ❤️🔥 Possessive MC ❤️🔥 MAJOR touch her and die vibes ❤️🔥 Single Mum/blended family
At long last, my favourite little monster got his story, and his happy ending! I have actually found it hard to put my thoughts/feelings into words, so I will just say: I loved it! It’s emotionally charged, spicy and action packed.
I’ve been obsessed with Kiwi from the get go and this story did not disappoint. He is the epitome of touch her and die vibes, but also huge golden retriever energy. He’s unhinged but his love, desire to protect and determination to face his heartbreak to get the girl is unwavering. Kiwi is just a beautiful, perfect angel to be honest… if an angel was, ya know, a little blood thirsty.
Insert our scowling, bad bitch single mama, Kennedy. She comes with her own baggage and is fiercely protective of her son. She is fierce but also able to show her vulnerability. I have to say, the relationship between Kens and Ian had me so in my feels. I shed a tear or 20. I feel like Haley captured those ‘single mama of a boy’ vibes perfectly. I found myself feeling so connected to Kenny because of how well that relationship was written, but also how the intricacies of introducing a new man to the equation was handled. LOVED it!
As in any HT story, these guys had to work hard for their love. It’s funny, toxic, possessive and all consuming. I think they’re the perfect amount of crazy for each other.
This story also sees an end to the Santa Cruz era, and sets us up for LA in book 6 with Taz.
There’s also some sneaky set ups for future works and girl, my interest is piqued!
Oh Kiwi, I knew I was going to love everything about you. Haley, you sure do know how to write a main character to fall completely in love with. (Sorry Ryder, but Kiwi is now in top spot 😉)
Honestly this book was amazing! Getting to know more about our beautifully unhinged male character was everything I never knew I needed. He is so possessive but protective as well, and he certainly gets what he wants, no matter what!
Kennedy is exactly the type of FMC that I adore! Strong, independent, take-no-shit attitude from anyone, especially a certain biker 😉. She is a single mum to a teenage boy, and their bond was everything and more 😍
I absolutely love this series, and I swear each book that Haley adds just gets better and better, with Man Possessed now being my favourite. I 100% recommend this entire series if you are a fan of MC romance with amazing characters 💚
Kiwi is Twisted! But I wouldn’t have him any other way… though it’s starting to make me question my morals. This book overlaps with Ryder and Madi’s book! While they are in the safe house, Kiwi find his family. Though the family doesn’t know it yet. Kennedy is a bartender at The Crossroads where the SBMC’s Allies the Beserkers main hang out is. Which is where she meets Kiwi. Their relationships starts out to a bit rocky and Kennedy isn’t sure why she’s drawn to him, but she she trusts him. When a threat comes to life Kiwi takes it on himself to make sure Kennedy and her son are safe, not matter how many times she tells him to f**k off. Kiwi has a dark past, and Kennedy has no filter, so when the two of them fight, they take it out on each other, but always come right back together. Kiwi will do anything to save his family, and the MC. But Kennedy has made it clear she does not want to be an old lady… so will Kiwi give up the MC for his one true love, or will Kennedy see the MC is who he is and fall for the man and the biker? Also… they carve their names into each other! This may be verging on a toxic relationship… but at the same time… it’s so hot and so so sweet.
2.5 ⭐️ Yeah... I uh... I don't even know what to say about this book 😂 Absolutely no shade to the author! You write what you write, and you like what you like! I don't even remember why I added this to my TBR list. I think it had something to do with the motorcycle club. I do have a sneaking feeling that I should read the whole series to understand more of the plotline and supplemental characters, but I make no promises at this point. The start of this book has so much gas, I feel like it stays full speed the whole time. The MMC - I suspect an underlying mental disorder that compels his obsessive, protective and murderous character traits. That's my professional opinion though, as a nurse lol. The FMC - she didn't give me as much of a 'badass' vibe as I thought I was going to get 🤷🏼♀️. Perhaps I just have a different picture of what a badass is in my own head. Again, people like what they like, and I didn't really like this one. Sorry!
From the moment he first saw her, Kiwi has been attracted to Kennedy. Even before he knew her or anything about her, he was like MINE. Then he has to convince her how he is going to be there for her and love her. Because of her history, she doesn't treat easily (or at all) and it takes a while and some hurt for her to realize that he does have her back. They both have their demons but when they finally open up to each other, it's obvious that they are perfect for each other.
The story behind the romance story is here too and I love how that arc has carried through all of these books. It draws you in and gives you even more idea what the motivation is for the actions that they take. First and foremost these men are protectors and comes through in every thought, word and deed. Not to say that their women aren't strong because they are - fierce mothers, partners and friends. But these men, whoooooo. They are hot, dirty talking, possessive, bossy, and yes, protective. They are also loyal and devoted, once they choose, they are all in (even when their women are not).
These two are like oil and water in a number of ways, but they are also explosive and expressive. They have moments of toxicity, but also always realize it was toxic. They are perfect!
Ok so if you know me, you know I love MC romance! Haley Tyler did not disappoint 🥵. The fire between Kiwi (MMC) and Kennedy (FMC) was so hot I pretty much just melted. Kiwi was #bookboyfriend goals for the obsession/sunshine personality/ "can't get enough of her" vibes. Kennedy was what we all want to be when we grow up : strong willed, bad a**, who doesn't take anyone's crap. This book left me craving more of the Salvatore Brotherhood MC and I will forever be obsessed with the whole series. I received an ARC copy of this and I was so thankful to be able to experience this book and help let others know how amazing I think it is!
Kiwi. Beautiful depraved possessive Kiwi. We love a strong, possessive and slightly psychotic MMC and Kiwi fully fits that bill.
This is book 5 in the Salvatore Brotherhood MC series and it follows Kiwi and Kens’ story and I am SO glad this exists. It was perfection in all of the characters imperfections. Haley doesn’t shy away from showing her characters true selves and it makes them so much more loveable for it.
Kennedy is a strong FMC, a single mum looking out for her family and taking no BS from anyone. Especially not from Kiwi.
I fully recommend this book if you haven’t read it!!!
Man Possessed is book #5 in the Salvatore Brotherhood MC series. This is a dark romance. Make sure to check the trigger warning.
I am OBSESSED with this series!!! I've been looking forward to Kiwi's story and its PERFECTION!!!
Kiwi and Kennedy couldn't be more different but they are meant to be together!! They don't have it easy at all, but they work for their HEA. Don't even get me started on the banter and holy crap, the spice!!!! Kiwi's dirty mouth is EVERYTHING!!!!
Everything about this book is absolute perfection and I can't wait for more in this series!
Kennedy wasn't looking for a partner, her son was always her first priority, but Kiwi knew as soon as he saw her, that she was the one. He just needed to convince her of that fact.
Kiwi and Kennedy's story was a crazy ride. There's so much back and forth, and insecurity between them, but there's a vulnerability and sweetness, too. Both Kennedy and Kiwi are tough when it counts, a little messed up too, but I kind of loved that about them.
I enjoyed this! It was super easy to get absorbed in the story. I haven't read any others in this series, but I need to now!
Book five in the Salvatore Brotherhood Mc series. Kiwi has the perfect craziness ever. When he walks in the bar and sees Kennedy his in love. Kennedy is a bartender at the bar. Independent, sassy and loyal. When he tell her how he feels she thinks his crazy. She’s just not into bikers. She has a kid who depends on her. She don’t need or want his kind of trouble. The problem ?? We’ll kiwi won’t give up easy. Their hate/love thing is just right in o bring both out of the shadows and trust each other with their hearts. Team crazy all the way ..
