Clan Witch: Found Shadows

Rate this book
Do readers buy poetry from undead poets?
Do they consume it if it's not free?

There's nothing quite like picking the prose and verses of the dead like vultures. There's freedom in that unpicking, with no one alive to contest, at least not the mind which birthed them.

Sinclair consumes written and spoken as she does in its lyrical form, dressed in music and paint. Dancing to the beat or screaming into the voids of despair. Here, Sinclair presents Clan Witch: Found Shadows, no music, no paint, just words. A mix-tape of drabbles and anarchic free verse poetry..

The writer still lives. Perhaps you'll read her unruly verse before the witch is dead.

‘Audacious stories marinated in macabre, magic and mayhem.’

From the heart of Scotland, Natasha Sinclair is an independent writer, editor and artist. Working under her brand ‘Clan Witch’ for her creative endeavours and ‘Word Refinery’ for editorial works.

Her writing is often woven with horror, sex and psychological elements. She loves to frolic in the darkness with folklore and the macabre and rich history of her homeland.

Art is unrestrained freedom, as is how storytellers choose to wield the fluid movement and global diversity of language to carve captivating and authentic tales that woe, excite or terrorise an audience. Sinclair passionately embraces that, painting original characters with true form, dialect and depth. The devil is in the details.

She is the co-conspirator of ‘Brazen Folk Horror’ with her writing partner, Ruthann Jagge. The Brazen Folk Horror duo’s debut collaborative novel, ‘Delevan House’ releases in February 2023.

Sinclair is a member of The Horror Writers Association (HWA) and The Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP).

This book has a collection of poetry, poems, free verses, and drabbles.

The author draws you in from the first page to the very last with the beautiful written words, whether they were truly horrific and shocking. Then, on the flipside, some were very emotional and very truly saddening, heart-wrenching words that could not affect any reader.

I'm not one usually to read poems, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, a unique collection that tugged at so many different emotions throughout.

Very beautiful words. I absolutely loved it!!!!

Thank you Natasha Sinclair

This is a Collection of Poems and Free Verse that dives into the dark corners of the many Twists and turns of how Messy life can get. Throughout the collection, I felt a deep melochany and dispersed with darkness lurking on the other side of the tunnel with no hope in sight.
