In the winter of 1873, an old gunslinger and a fierce young woman set out on a trail of vengeful reckoning against a scourge of outlaws known as the Faceless Ghosts. Through a hail of blood, guts, and gunfire they fulfilled the young woman’s vendetta. What the old gunslinger didn’t expect however, was he would also remember what it was to be a father again.

Thus, when the former preacher, Isaac Teller, comes to his door with the proposition to aid an ailing mining town deep in the Cascades, Cullen straps on his gun belt one more time.

Despite the protestations of his surrogate family, the old gunslinger cannot deny his vicious desire. The storm of bullets, the haze of gun smoke, and the river of blood, but most of all he cannot stop himself from facing off against a rival bounty hunter from his past. No matter what it may cost him.

Channing Cornwall is the author of four novels, KINGDOM IN THE SKY, IN ROMANTIC DREAMS, DESOLATE PAGES, and HELL CAME WITH HER. He's also produced a short story collection, WOLVES, a poetry collection, THE FAMILY GHOST, and a play, APARTMENT OF THE FEIGN. He's been an avid writer and reader since childhood, when he was stapling pieces of notebook paper together in order to write his own comic books.
