Very cute. Slice of life, cozy read. Nice recipes!

I have been a huge fan of this series for years. What a gift to read so many of the zines at once!

So up front, I'm reading the 2nd edition which is not on GR, and I read that the addition of books to GR database takes months since you can no longer add books yourself, and the "librarians" are horribly backed up. The second edition, published by Secret Headquarters, has 184 pages and a 6th zine (the original has 5 zines), titled Garden. It was released in June 2024 in a softcover form with a colorful cover of an orange cat in a market running away with a shrimp in its mouth.
I did not read the original, and picked this up at CALA. It's really cute with simple illustrations and black and white comics. The recipes are kinda vague, with ingredients but not a whole lot of measurements (going by taste and "I just know" school of cooking, I assume). I do want to try some of the recipes though, so we'll see how that goes.
