silence
A novel by Endo Shusaku, a Japanese-born novelist dealing with Christian inculturation and sin and evil. The presence of the Catholic faith is projected. This novel talks about the quest for God and about the strong and the weak. Following the agony of the apostate clergy, the author also eagerly wishes for Gods loving mercy to appear. You will also feel the love of God who does not forsake the weak. He wrote for those who could not deny God even in a human-centered world.
