This newest addition to the Black Light series was spot on. I've been a fan of LK Shaw's from her first book and was thrilled when I heard she was asked to write a Black Light book. The book hits all the right notes from the very beginning. There's suspense, there's drama, and the interaction between Joseph, Nathaniel and Madeline is freaking awesome! When Madeline's life is in danger, Joseph and Nathaniel are called in to help and are surprised to find out she was the sub they played with at Black Light! All 3 just click together and it was amazing to watch their relationship develop!! The story was emotional and basically took me by surprise!!! You'll understand why when you read the book!!! Well written, this is a book you can easily get lost in and forget about the time so be sure you've made time to just read and enjoy this awesome book!!!

This book is a great addition to the Black Light Series! One of my favorite genres is menage and this book brought it in spades. Madeline always felt that somehow she would never find the right Dominant for her, and it wasn't for lack of trying, something was always missing. When she started to get strange letters, she decided it was time for a change and a move. When, with the help of a friend, she was introduced to Black Light, she knew she found her place. In walked two men, Nathaniel and Joseph, and there was an instant attraction between the three of them. But can a relationship work between them? Nat and Joseph didn't have the greatest luck in finding a sub but when they saw Madeline, they just knew she was the one. When something happens to Madeline, they were determined to do whatever it took to get her back! These three have such chemistry, it is completely and totally sizzling! I loved the interaction between them. You just know if your heart that they belong together. But, as we all know, life can get in the way. But does it? I truly enjoyed this story, and if you are a lover of the Black Light Series like I am, you will love it too!

I love Black Light and Possession is no exception. The suspense was gripping. The dynamic between the three was amazing and the transformation of Nathaniel was so heartwarming. I was so enthralled I couldn’t put it down and had to read it from beginning to end in one go. A great addition to the Black Light Series.

OMG WTF DID I JUST READ!!!!!!!!!!! I think I have been living under a rock because I have never heard of the Black Light Series until a few months ago when I did the cover reveal for Possession. Then I saw that there was going to be a release blitz for it and I had to sign up. The synopsis had me and the cover was the icing on the cake. I absolutely love the cover!

Madeline is a Doctor who has a secret admirer who is stalking her through letters. She needs a change in scenery and decides to move to Washington to get away from everything. When she gets there her friend invites her to an exclusive club called the Black Light. It is there that Madeline meets not one but two alpha Doms and has a phenomenal time with Joseph and Nathaniel.

After that amazing night Madeline starts to get the love letters but they are worse now. They are becoming more and more threatening. The police are called in and they find that the letters look like the work of the serial killer Casanova. So the police call in the FBI and they send two of their best agents Joseph and Nathaniel thee Joseph and Nathaniel that spent that phenomenal night with Madeline. They both want Madeline and talk her into becoming their submissive and they both are determined to protect her. They will do anything to keep her safe.

As the stalker gets closer he gets more brazen in his acts and he is determined to Madeline his. Can Joseph and Nathaniel save and protect her? Or will the stalker get her and make her his next pet?

This was my first read by this author and I loved it. It's a great addition to the Black Light Series. Madeline is a Dr. who leaves her home to get away from a bad relationship. She finds one night of extreme pleasure with two men, Joseph and Nathaniel. They make arrangements to meet again, but they actually meet sooner than that and they are all taken by surprise. The story unravels from there with a great story line.

There is great sex, suspense, emotions, an awesome plot a definite page turner. There were new aspects to BDSM that I had not read before and I enjoyed learning about the new play options. I loved how Nathaniel and Joseph were such a great team in both their work and their play.

I would recommend this author, the Black Light series and any other books by Ms. Shaw. I received this advanced reader's copy in exchange for an honest review.

This one.......perfect addition to The Black Light series! I have read and loved each one of these and this one, she nailed it.
It has everything I expect from LK Shaw, I am a faithful stalker, on Amazon anyway, real life would be bad, bad, bad......I look horrible in orange anyway!
Joseph, Nathaniel and Madeline had me from the first chapter, it started hot and heavy and just snowballed from there. But honestly the best parts in it were the emotions she pulled out of me. And on a side note I'm so glad we didn't get a wussy heroine, that woulda disappointed me! I highly recommend this one, especially if you like some intrigue, hot FBI guys and an amazing plot!

This is my first book by this author and in the Black Light series. Yes I'm doing things ass backwards but it's ok because I really enjoyed this book. It had everything an interesting plot, relatable characters, and good sexy times. So needless to say I finished this in a few hours. Madeline, Joseph and Nathaniel met at a BDSM club and had an instant connection. This book worked for me because the sub was an independent, educated woman. She wasn't some trembling shrinking violet. The chemistry between them was off the charts. Great book I'm looking forward to reading more books in this series.

Possession

I love Joseph, Madeline and Nathaniel’s story, it’s full of emotions, trauma and different forms of love. It’s also, the kind of story that will keep you on your toes as their is a mystery to be solve. Aside from that the triad hits it off right away. It’s like destiny coming home. All that’s left is for Nathaniel and Joseph to keep Madeline safe from her obsession killer. I must say I love the changes the characters goes through as the story progresses. Above all I loved the strength and determination Madeline shown her kidnapper in the face of his unstable emotions and fixations on her.

I loved this book just as much as all the others and, just like the others, it ended way too quickly! I loved the instant chemistry between Madeline, Nat and Joseph. The author did a great job of illustrating how a strong, independent woman can choose to submit and still maintain her sense of self and personality. I definitely recommend this book to those who love this genre.

A suspenseful romance from the start. I enjoyed the characters, the twists, the turns, and ultimate twist at the end... I didn't see that coming. The story drew me in and wouldn't let me go until I finished the story in a single sitting. Well done LK, well done!

The newest in the Black Light series brings hot menage' and a creepy stalker. Although this book is the 11th in the series, they are all stand alone books. Having read only one other book in the series, I didn't recognize any character crossover and had no trouble keeping up.

Madeline, is a successful therapist with a good life but there is just something missing. If she could just find someplace, and someone, to just really belong to, she'd have it all. She might be independent and in charge in her daily life but when it comes to her love life, she prefers to have someone else in command. As almost any single submissive will attest, the search for the right dominant is difficult. Madeline just ended a relationship with a decent guy, not because he wasn't a good Dom, he just wasn't HER Dom. Needing a change of pace, and hoping to outrun a creepy stalker that has his sights set on her, she picks up her life and moves. It's on a trip with her best friend to their local BDSM club that she meets not one, but two, men that will change her life forever.

FBI agents, Joseph and Nathaniel, have been looking for their third, their missing piece, for years. It might sound crazy but one look at the lovely Madeline at club Black Light brings their search to an end. After spending time with her, they will do anything to make her as sure of them as they are of her. When she confesses that she's been receiving anonymous letters, they learn she's in the crosshairs of a serial killer. To achieve their happy ending, they must protect the love of their lives, even if she doesn't know she is yet.

Possession is an insta-INSTA-love novel; I'm talking within 2 pages of meeting each other, they're engaged in a scene and these guys are certain she's the one. I've actually never read a BDSM book like this, since it usually focuses on the trust aspects of the sub/Dom relationship more but as long as your ok with the 15 minutes of getting to know one other, the rest of the plot is great. The serial killer identity shocker was a great plot point and uber creepy. The steam factor is high and the sweet times are great. All in all, an intriguing (short) insta-love read. Enjoy!

This is a hot, suspenseful read with an immediate love connection between a dynamic duo of best friend doms and a sub looking for the right master. Dr. Madeline Parrish, a psychologist, moves to DC after a breakup and some creepy letters she’s been receiving. She visits Black Light with some friends and is immediately spotted by Joseph and Nathaniel, two experienced, best friend doms who live, work and play together. They instantly fall for Madeline and also come to find out she’s the latest target of a killer the FBI has been chasing for some time. They are the agents assigned to the case and so the plot intensifies. There is no slow burn when it comes to this story. The bond between the main characters is instantaneous and almost a foregone conclusion. The plot also unravels rather quickly and comes to a predictable conclusion. It’s a fast and fairly lighthearted read considering the subject matter, which is never presented in an overly dark or burdensome manner.

Dr Madeline Parrish has a secret admirer. She moves to DC to get away from him. A friend invites her to Black light, an upscale BDSM club where she has a wonderful night being topped by two Doms. But her secret admirer returns, more threatening than ever. She turns to the FBI, where none other than the two Doms who topped her are assigned to her case. This is an intense, suspenseful read, by a wonderful author who is new to the Blacklight world. It is full of steam. I highly recommend this book 4.5 stars.

I have been loving this series since it first came out and this addition did not disappoint. Being a new author to the series of several authors, and a new to me author, one never knows. But I found interesting and likable characters. Even felt a small, itty bitty really, bit of sympathy for the villian - just for a second though. A nice mix of hot, kinky stuff, action and suspense. There was even a concert upstairs at Runway. Names were dropped but we didn't actually interact with many of the previous characters so this stood better than some as a stand alone in the series. However, you really don't want to miss any of this series. It is fun and exciting. Black Light is an awesome place to visit. I am not sure how I feel about opening a branch in Hollywood, but I will find out soon.

Since my first Black Light novel, (theoretically Livia Grant's Infamous Love, but Black Light: Rocked might hold this title), I've been hooked. Initially, it had more to do with the triad of Chase, Jaxon, and Emma. I have a dirty little interest in MMF romances (partly because I don't understand how they truly work in practice...not judging). However, in reading these books, you are drawn into the individual characters who frequent Black Light, a BDSM club. The way that individual authors (yes, there is some oversight of these authors) create the stories and twine them into other authors' stories in the series intrigues me. I love when characters from other stories play into the existing story/book. This is the case with the Black Light series.

We are now in Season 2 of the Black Light series, and L.K. Shaw's book, Black Light: Possession, is the most recent fare. I received an ARC of it for an honest review.

With this book, we find ourselves back in D.C. at the original Black Light. The latter part of Season 1 found us in the newest version of it in LA. And I loved going back to the original in this book. It feels like going home again. This time around, we meet Joseph, Nathaniel, and Madeline. Joseph and Nathaniel work together at the FBI. They are equal parts "yin and yang" with Joseph as the tender, but stern dominant and Nathaniel as more brash and unemotional. They are Doms together, searching for their perfect submissive. They are looking for an amazing night at Black Light, but they are also looking for a life-long partner to fulfill their triad. Madeline has recently moved to DC, as a way to escape a stalker and find a fresh new start after a disappointing break-up with her former Dom. She simply needs something new. Her friend, Gareth, is a DM at Black Light, and he introduces her to this new club. From the beginning, she is enthralled. This is further escalated when she meets Joseph and Nathaniel on her first night. From the start, the chemistry between the three is fire, so much so that Joseph knows that Madeline is "the one" for him and Nathaniel. However, they need to explore the relationship further before fully committing to it.

A few days after her evening at Black Light, it becomes apparent that Madeline's stalker has followed her to DC. The letters she receives from the stalker match similar letters in a case that Joseph and Nathaniel are working related to a serial killer. On investigating the letter, they realize the Madeline is the intended target. Very quickly, the relationship between the three becomes about protecting Madeline at all costs. Will they realize a life-long commitment, or is Madeline in danger of losing her life? You need to read this book.

What I love most about L.K. Shaw's book is the ease of the relationship of the characters. There is no dawdling in moving these characters together. They meet on the first night at Black Light, and they spend the rest of their time together in the story. There is no angst about their "throupling." Instead, the serial killer and stalker investigation play a large part in their story. This is THE strife to their relationship. Madeline is a good submissive. She doesn't push back on Joseph and Nathaniel very much, so they can love her easily. Also, the "time between the sheets" with these three will leave you fanning yourself.

Even more, Nathaniel, who carries some emotional baggage from his youth, undergoes a change due to this burgeoning relationship. I personally love, in a romance, when characters who are seemingly closed off emotionally bloom feelings because they are loved fully. Reading the emotional softening of Nathaniel in this story adds another layer to it.

I enjoyed these characters and their relationship. Even more, it felt like "old home" week at Black Light. If you haven't read this series, and you like BDSM elements in your romance, then you should read this series and this book. It is indeed worthy of your time.

Overall: 5 Stars

Possession is the first installment of the Black Light series by L.K. Shaw.

Dr. Madeline Parrish has a secret admirer who she’s trying to get away from. The only choice she had was to relocate and here she is, in Washington, D.C. Before she starts her new life, she wants to explore what the city night has to offer her. Taking up a friend’s invite to explore the exclusive BDSM club; Black Light, Madeline spends one orgasmic night with two mysterious Doms.

But that was it. One night of letting loose and feeling free.

That was until a ‘love letters arrive, throwing Madeline back to what she was running away from. When two FBI agents, Nathaniel Morgan, and Joseph Crocker are brought on to investigate the case, they soon realize they are dealing with a serial killer the media named ‘Casanova.’

However, when they get to Madeline’s house, they weren’t expecting the sub they shared the night with to be in their protection, let alone help them catch a serial killer to justice. But when the stakes are high once more, will they be able to keep the one woman they love safe or will they have her blood on their hands?

Holy Shirt!!! This was amazing. I…I am speechless. I don’t believe I’ve read any of L.K. Shaw’s books before, but rest assure, I’ll be going on a reading binge! I love the character development between all three main characters. I didn’t have any confusion on who was talking or what each character was feeling. Not only, was the writing and emotional connection great, but I also loved the serial killer. I know, that’s weird to say, but he did play a role. It was nice to see him constantly there, even when he wasn’t exactly doing anything, for it let me, as a reader, know he hadn’t dwindled away.

Phenomenal job and I highly recommend reading Possession if you enjoy, romance, BDSM, mystery, and two unbelievable hot FBI agents.

Holy heck! Possession (Black Light Series #11) by L.K. Shaw has so many hot scenes! Two Doms: one dark and broody, the other romantic. Both are FBI agents. Can I say is there is a woman out there that would say no to that? I do not know of one, well maybe one. BUT NOT THIS ONE!!

From a breakup to a creepy stalker that keeps sending her letters, Madeline is a psychologist who needs a change of scenery. What better way than to move? The bonus? She happens to move near Black Light, an underground BDSM club. This also happens to be the same club that Nathaniel and Joseph are members of. What luck on her part, if I might say. Madeline is the perfect sub for Nat and Joseph. Every girl wants a man to take control and also take care of her, Madeline just happens to gets one of each.

Since meeting Nat and Joseph, the last thing on her mind is her creepy stalker dude. So when she receives another letter, she does what she did before, she turns it into the police. This time the police send it to the FBI. Specifically Nat and Joseph’s team that is working the Casanova serial killer case.

This book is a mixture of Dom/Dom/sub (MMF), BDSM, and suspense. I highly suspect I will be finding more of LK Shaw’s books to read.

“I trust you, Master. With my life. With my heart. With my submission.”

Dr. Madeline Parrish is being stalked by someone leaving her anonymous love letters. What started out as harmless prose turns into threats of violence, and Madeline is offered an opportunity to move to Washington, D.C. to escape not only the stalker, but also to have a fresh start. Looking for something more in her life, Madeline joins friends at an exclusive BDSM club known as Black Light. There she meets Joseph and Nathaniel, two Doms who instantly see in Madeline the submissive they have long sought.

FBI agents and partners Joseph Crocker and Nathaniel Morgan can’t believe they have finally found the perfect Sub to love and protect. It’s as if Fate has taken a hand to steer Madeline in their lives…or maybe put them in hers. As it turns out, the serial killer “Casanova” they have been tracking is the very one that has been sending Madeline the love letters. Now they have even more at stake in finding and bringing the killer to justice before their beloved Madeline is Casanova’s next victim.

L.K. Shaw has written a deadly intense romantic suspense of cat and mouse between Madeline and a killer of women that I can’t recommend enough! Black Light: Possession is a verra smexxy thriller guaranteed to make your heart race! Loved it!

When I read the blurb for this book, I knew I had to read it. The various elements intrigued me and I wanted to experience how they would be weaved together. It did not disappoint in the slightest and actually exceeded my expectations.

Madeline is a submissive on the search for a dominant who can fulfill her sexual desires. On her first night at Black Light she meets Nathaniel and Joseph. All three find what they are missing and so begins a hot and steamy relationship that brings out the best in all of them. However, Madeline has who a stalker who is dangerous and could potentially send this relationship off the tracks before it has even begun.

I loved every element of this story. It had me on the edge of my seat throughout, fanning myself from the heat levels and falling in love with the characters and getting to witness their changes. It brought the feels along with the heat. Loved it!

Madeline, Joseph and Nathaniel's Possession

Another great addition to the Black Light series.
This story is of Madeline, a beautiful, intellegent psychologist being
stalked by a killer. Joseph and Nathaniel are FBI agents and best
friends and Doms. From the very first time they met, all three are
attracted to each other and made for some very sexy, hot, BDSM
scenes. The triad got to Black Light and Runway, the entertaining
Club upstairs from the Black Light dungeon together. There is
quite a bit of fear and angst with the killer gaining on his target and
Madeline's doms doing everything they can to heep Madeline safe.
L.K. Shaw did a great job of telling her story and her's fits right into
the Black Light theme of all the other stories written by a variety of
authors.
A new Black Light anthology is expected to be publish at the beginning
of February and I can't wait to read it!

The latest addition to the Black Light family is L.K. Shaw’s “Possession” and it has all the yumminess you’ve come to associate with both Black Collar Press AND Ms. Shaw. Add in some seriously intense suspense and you will instantly be transported to DC where you’ll meet Madeline and two seriously HAWT FBI agents, Joseph and Nathaniel, who will make your legs tremble and your nether-region quiver in anticipation. The story progresses quickly as we pick up on the urgency behind the need to catch a serial killer and when Joseph and Nathaniel discover that Madeline could be in jeopardy, well cue all sorts of domly alphaness that will also make your toes curl. Have I mentioned this story is hot? *fans self* If you are as much of a fan of the Black Light family as I am, then you’ll want to add “Possession” to your To Be Read NOW list.

Mystery, intrigue and hot are a few words to describe this next story in the BlackLight series. Madeline is relocating herself and her practice to D.C. partly because of a stalker. She meets one of her best friends, Garreth. He tells her about the club they are going to. She's reluctant and feels something must be wrong with her. Meanwhile Joseph and Nathaniel are at BlackLight and bot want to settle down but have just been burned by a woman makes them wary. In walks Madeline and the men fall hard. Trouble has followed Madeline to D.C. as she receives another letter from her stalker and Joseph and Nat are assigned to her case (they are FBI). Madeline is abducted and Joseph and Nat are frantic to find their woman. Please read the book to find how it all turns out. You won't be disappointed. Love it!!!

This is my first book by this author and in this series and I really enjoyed it. It has drama, some mystery, and a little bit of hot steamy and sexy scenes between the main characters. I do believe I am going to be checking out the rest of this series and more books by this author.

We start off with our heroine Madeline moving to a new city and having her "secret" admirer following her. On her first weekend in her new home her very bestfriend and his sub take her to the exclusive club Black Light. While there she meets both our heroes Nathaniel and Joseph. They are both strong sexy alphas that know how to bring a submissive to their knees. They are both ready to settle down and when they first see Madeline know she is the one. Fast forward a few days... Nat and Joseph are FBI agents that are called out to help the local PD with a letter that a woman has received from a suspect they have been looking for. Imagine their surprise when the person that received the letter is "their" submissive. Their insta attraction helps the story flow at a faster pace and the story wraps up in a timely matter.

The evolution of the characters and how well they mesh together makes this a good story. I am so glad that Madeline was written as a strong character and did not shy away from anything. I like how Nathaniel grew and realized that yes he is a broody a$$, but it is ok to show emotion from time to time. Joseph is a strong male character that is amazing with the way he deals with Nathaniel's broody ass and helps keep Madeline calm.

A hot, steamy BDSM romantic suspense

I thoroughly enjoyed this story of Madeline, Nathaniel and Joseph. The writing was very smooth, the story was easy to read and the dialogue felt very natural. All three characters were both likeable and believable, adding to the appeal of the story. The BDSM scenes were really well written and also incredibly hot, there was enough to make this feel like a kink themed story without being overwhelming to the main plot. Madeline and her two men certainly shared some wonderful chemistry.

Whilst I liked both the plot and the pace of the book, I perhaps would have liked a little more depth, or struggle to get to the HEA. There's nothing specific to put my finger on, though on reflection I think it's that this had all the elements of a fantastic read, but just didn't quite hit it on the execution. Some if this is that with 3 points of view, and two heroes, it quite simply needed to be a longer read. The men, particularly Joseph, felt a little flat at times. Whilst I liked them, I didn't feel as though we really got to know them. Despite that I still found this to be a really entertaining book that I'm happy to recommend and I would most definitely read more by the author.

This one was very juicy!!! This was filled with some good kinks and a dash of mystery.. we have a crazy stalker turned into our serial killer.. we have our doms Nathaniel and Joseph best friends and co-workers who have been burned by a woman who wanted to out them against eachother.. but that doesn't let it stop them from being drawn to newest sub Madeline who is new to the city and the club..  i enjoyed Madeline shes smart, sassy, she stood her ground and gave some good banter to Nat and Joseph.. their scenes together were smoking hottt!! What connects them even more is when they find out their woman is the next one their casanova "serial" killer wants.. MO has changed and they'll do anything to keep her safe...

Now i was shocked at who the stalker was.. this was a good book and a new author to read.

Angst, no ow/om drama, no cheating, drama, hints of secondary chara, some steamy sexxx list below some kinks that were mentioned!!

4 stars to Possession by L.K. Shaw !!!!!!

Okay I have been waiting to read this book since I first seen the bite for it on Book Main bites . I read that first bite and I had to read it . I love when a book grabs my attention and keeps it like that .
Madeline had been getting letters from a secret admirer for about 6 months and at first she did not think much of it . Then the letters got a dark tone to them . Since had just ended a relationship with her Dom she decides it is time for a change .She moves to D.C. thinking this will stop the letters. She goes to Black Light a BDSM club with her friends where she meets Joseph and Nathaniel . Two amazing Doms who give her the night of her life . They want more from her even though these two just got out of bad experience. That is until another letter comes . This one sounds even darker so she contacts the police . In comes the FBI and the two Doms who gave her a night to remember . Little does Madeline know she is the next target of the serial killer known as Casanova .
This story is filled with so much for being a shorter story . You get all the feels from the characters, you get suspense , darkness , and love . I loved this book . My only complaint is I wanted more at the end . I need more of an epilogue or something . It felt unfinished to me . Other than that is was great .
