Another great instalment from Eliza, and it's been fun to read something set outside of Olympus (although, for me the Hades Trials will always be the best). This was another fast paced read, with one or 2 twists and turns, which I very much enjoyed. As a brit, I enjoyed the fact that it was set in London, although perhaps more could have been made of that. All in all, it was a very satisfying read and I recommend it!

What a fantastic ending this final book is. I have been hooked since book one and it’s been such an exciting and gripping series that just grabbed me from the get go. The world building is incredible and the characters, well I have loved their journey, their growth and the steam and chemistry is off the charts and the conclusion is just worthy of an excellent series.

This is a very bittersweet moment. IT'S THE END! So... of course I have some more words to write here. No spoilers, ofc.
First things first. Good lord, at the beginning if this book, I couldn't even think how Eliza could tie all those ends. In this third book, we have more action scenes, and oof, steamier scenes between Nox & Beth. The man can't be sexier. Kinda want one. I didn't know I could fall more in love with Nox. He's the perfect (and filthy) gentleman. And Beth's development left me very satisfied! I love my women empowered and confident and kick-ass. She started very relatable as a human, with all her insecurities, and towards the end, she grew very confident and realize all the potential she had in her.
And the sins. As I said in my previous reviews, I really loved how Eliza portrays each sin as a person and how they can affect the world. Madeleine and Cornu's story left me heartbroken tho. Some new characters were introduced! I love Behemoth. I laugh every scene with him, and I loved the end Eliza gave him.
Eliza gave me every little thing I expected from this book, and for that I'm thankful. Nox and Beth's story was a great adventure, and their love and chemistry was one that left me with a permanent blush.
Well, I said it at the beginning, this is bittersweet. I was very invested in this magical London, the world of the Devil, Saints, Sins and all other magical creatures. I hope Eliza will revisit the world of the Veil soon!

The only problem is that now it's over.

That was the final part of the Nox & Beth saga &, although I'm hugely sorry that I don't have another book to look forward to, it was wrapped up in the most satisfying way.

It's strange that feeling you get when a writer draws you into their world, or rather the world of their characters, with such deft ease. Eliza Raine does it with consummate flair & I will be searching for every release from her as well as her back catalogue.

In the trilogy's extensive cast list some stood out as truly "magical". Nox himself, of course, Francis with her exuberant love of life blazing off the page, heartbroken Cornu & my favourite, Behemoth. All I can say about him is I want one! And I hope someone finally got him a 🍔.

Suffice to say, this has been a pleasure from start to finish & I would urge anyone who loves the fantasy world to get the trilogy now. Fantasy is seen by some a cop-out, with too much freedom to bend the story whichever way the author dictates. Whilst that's true, & there are a lot of below par fantasy books out there, in the hands of a good writer they can create an entirely glorious universe that you get to share for a while. I'll never look at London quite the same way again!

Troisième et dernier tome de cette série, dans ce tome, Beth et Nox devront faire de nouveau face à un autre homicide, les pauvres maintenant, ils vont avoir l’habitude. Leur quête pour retrouver le livre perdu, et pour gagné une information qui peut leur être importante, Beth devra montrer sa véritable nature.

Comme pour le deux autres tomes, j’ai vraiment aimé me replonger dans l’univers créer par Eliza Raine et j’avoue que je me suis de nouveau prise au jeu, pour trouver l’identité du coupable. Chose que je n’ai pas réussi à faire.

Dans ce tome, nous découvrons enfin qui était l’identité maléfique qui se cachait derrière tout ces meurtres, car oui, les meurtres précédents plus celui de ce tome avaient tous le même mobile.

Le dénouement de cette série était vraiment bien, toutes les questions que se posaient Beth au début du premier tome, ont été répondu.

C’est la deuxième trilogie d’Eliza Raine que je lis et franchement je crois que je suis devenue fan de cette auteure. Je vais attendre pour lire, son autre trilogie, qui s’intitule « Les Épreuves d’Arès », car le dernier tome n’est pas encore sorti, car je pourrais les enchainer lors de ma lecture.

So great

I never write reviews, but this series might be the best I have read ever. Not every author can really get the chemistry right but this one does! There are some typos.. which I don’t really get since anyone reading it could find, but idk how editing works on kindle unlimited. Honestly though an entire paragraph could have been jibberish and I would still have loved it! Also her ability to describe hot sex is one of the best. Maybe I’ve just been reading too many that make you wait to the last book.. this one kept the romance building throughout and the lead man was never a complete asshole and just wants to build his lady up to be her best self. Seriously, it was the best.

I really loved this entire series and I'm glad I took the time to read it in spite of the critical reviews. It came along at just the right time as I was in a reading slump and unable to get excited about anything I had in my TBR pile or anywhere else. This was truly excellent and quite enjoyable. The characters - both the main characters and the side characters, were awesome. I loved the interactions and the banter. Note, this is not a clean read as it contains language and sex scenes that might offend some readers. However, it did not seem excessive nor were the sex scenes overly graphic, but rather added to the story. The story culminates into an exciting climactic battle between good and evil and has a HEA ending.

The devil is in the details

This was an amazing conclusion to another unbelievable story by Eliza Raine. I fell in love with the whole lucifer with a heart to begin with, then Eliza does it again and adds a few unforseen twists, adds the most amazing hellbeast (for real I want one) and enough world building to suck you right in all over again. Oh and don't get me started on the steam, there's never enough but what is there is thigh clenchingly hot. I couldn't put the book down, it only took an afternoon but in that time my emotions went all over the place ending all too soon and making me want for more.

This final book in the Devil’s Deal is another exhilarating adventure filled read following our two leads Nox and Beth as they dodge their enemies left and right in their continuing quest to cure the curse that keeps them from their hearts desire. With great world building, expertly created characters and a powerful narrative that speeds this page turner along this was a Fantasy Romance that burned hot with lots of romantic steam and revelations that led the story to a very satisfying conclusion of the series.

I am a sucker for a Lucifer story. Complete sucker. So, I loved this book, but a couple of things I wish were done better.

I understand the author is British and it takes place in London. But if you tell me your main female character is American, and grew up in the US until adulthood. Please have her use American colloquialisms. As an American, it was distracting.

And these three books could have been just one book. Luckily I pay for Kindle unlimited, so it is a "free book". But I would be rather annoyed if I had to pay three separate times for this story.

I have been eagerly awaiting this book and I'm thrilled to say the wait was worth it. This is the final book in Nox and Beth's story and you do need to read all these books and in order. Prepare yourself for more drama, tension, emotions, intensity, twists, suspense and danger as we head to the finish line. It is so easy to get caught up into this intricate world and to become consumed tempting tale being told. This book/series has you avidly invested in this couple and trust me when I say that your nerves and your heart get a solid workout. I am posting an unbiased, unsolicited review.

Action packed, heated, nailbiting conclusion to this fabulous trilogy. I've really enjoyed it.

There were some great characters including an excitable pensioner, a grumpy but loyal Pixie, geeky vampire, demons, angels and more, but Behemoth the miniature hell goat was utterly adorable!

I wondered how on earth it was going to play out as there was so much Nox and Beth had to do with only 20% to go, but it all came together with a few twists.

Im looking forward to reading more from this author, but do hope she returns to this world one day.

So, Beth just heard her mother's voice in the last book, so she she knows that she's at least alive... her father's still a mystery and then she's given a Hell Goat? He was so cute and funny, I really loved him but, omg whoever gave him caffeine should be punished, that scene was so funny though. It was such a fight to get the last 2 sins, ESPECIALLY PRIDE! The fact that Beth's father was a Saint, an angel of Hope, was such a fun twist. I felt so bad for the demon Cornu when he lost Madeline and apparently him falling in love with Madeline gave him a soul. Finally finding her father and the fact that he gave her some of his power so she'd be immortal and able to stay by Nox's side forever was so sweet and I love that Behemoth is going to be a "Guardian"

Bonne trilogie

J’ai grandement apprécié et aimé cette trilogie. L’histoire est bonne, l’intrigue pleine de rebondissements et d’enquêtes sur des meurtres et disparitions d’anges. L’histoire d’amour entre Nox (Lucifer) et Beth, et Francis l’amie âgée de Bethqui est attachante et rigolote. Cette trilogie fait paraître des premiers livres que lis de cette auteure, mais sûrement pas les derniers.

Look, I didn’t love this but I definitely still committed and read all books in the series as it wasn’t terrible. I definitely enjoyed it but I couldn’t help but constantly think of the Lucifer tv show and how similar it was. I guess this is the whole ‘lucifer’ storyline but I’m just here for something new and fresh. Anyway, good read. Also the first book had a few spelling & other errors which annoyed me more than it should 😂

Almost 4 stars - Didn’t enjoy this series as much as the Shadow bound queen. No idea why. Characters good but it just didnt work as well. Not putting me off reading her next series but had high hopes and it just didnt quite deliver. Bit stagnant in places, then rushed in others. Realise its a fantasy but it just missed some really descriptive plots or behind the scene explanations, which made it a bit surface and unrealistic. Massive story to take on lucifer - didnt quite smash it.

I felt that book two was a little abrupt, but that’s because this didn’t need to be a separate book… or at least some of it. Enjoyed this, it wrapped up a little quickly - all the action is 89 - 96% of the book - which left the rest of it feeling a little bit slow, maybe? But I enjoyed the series.

Now, the only thing this three part series has left me wondering is what happened to Anna (the colleague) and why did the author miss a trick to have her involved in the plot in some way.

Great series

Nox is slowly reducing his power every time he and Beth are "together". She in turn, absorbs it. Can the power of love, real love, really conquer all? Hellhounds, demons, and gods are about to find out. Lucifer Morningstar and Beth Abbott are not to be trifled with. Add in a sprite, a goat, and a senior citizen and all Hell will break loose!

I read the last two books in two days. Exciting and enchanting story for fantasy romance fans.

This is book 3 and best read in order to know whats going on, plus who would want to miss out on their great story!

Great Writing

Seems like I waited forever for this second book and I almost forgot about it but once I read foreword I remembered it at once and started reading . The first was better as it had more suspense but this was almost as good and loved the parts where Beth got some of Nox's powers.! Please do more like this!!!

Great ending!!

Excellent ending to this series!! I saw some of the other reviews complaining about how it just ended but I disagree with them. I do wish it was a little longer and we had a little more about Gabriel and Michael. I kind of wish she would write more about the other characters, at least I'm hoping she does!

Great story

This is the first time I've read from this and I'll definitely be looking out for her again. Great story amazing characters with laugh out loud moments action and sexy
scenes. Honestly it's a great series I highly recommend it's definitely keeps you wondering who the bad guy is . It's a must read

Il semblerait que ce soit lorsqu'elle écrit à quatre mains que les choses soient moins sympas. Mais avec cette saga je me suis régalé ! L'intrigue (sauf sur certains points où c'était assez évidents) était génial et addictive, sans parler des diverses personnages !
