Rate this book
A Mafia assassin falls in love with the daughter of his target…

Gina
My father has never really supported my dance career.
I can’t wait to get out from under his rule and live my own life.

But I’d never wish him dead.

Luca
As hitman for the Italian Mafia, my next target is the District Attorney.
I can use his daughter to get to him.

Will she thaw my heart before I break hers?

Killer's Mark is a part of the Barone Syndicate series. No cliffhangers and a HEA.

The contents of this book are steamy and include foul language. Enjoy!

I really enjoyed this book, the first one in a new series by Natalie Tryst.
"How could the beautiful ballerina that I find myself drawn to be the daughter of District Attorney, Richard Nicoletti, the same District Attorney whose life I am about to take".
Luca Barone is the hitman for the powerful Italian mafia family, tensions between the Irish, the Russian and the Italian factions in Philadelphia were high, the DA was making his mark, he had to die so that an uneasy peace could be restored.
Gina Nicoletti was a ballerina with the PBC, a job that she loved but her father hated, he wanted her to be a lawyer, he refused to listen to Gina's point of view, ballet to him was a hobby.
When Gina met the handsome Luca she was instantly attracted to him, he listened to her, he encouraged her to follow her dream, he made her feel special, little did she know that he was a mafia hitman with a contract to kill her father.
This action packed story follow the passionate love story between the hitman and the ballerina, Luca would do anything to keep Gina safe, she was a target for the other mafia factions, could Luca settle this without breaking Gina's heart ?
This is a great story with an ending that I wasn't expecting, there are a few loose ends but I am sure that they will become clear in the bonus chapter or the following books in the series.
I received a free copy of this book and my review is voluntary.

3.75-4/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It was a good read and very slow burn. Gina, a ballet dancer and Luca, mafia bad guy. They weren’t supposed to meet but they did and unexpectedly fell in love. They were good for each other - he needed something “normal” besides his work, she needed someone who understands and believes in her. Ohh, and the spice between them was so on point.

Con: some things could have been left off since it was either too detailed or too repetitive. The beginning was really slow and the last chapters rushed. First book in the Barone Syndicate was much better.

Luca was a hitman hired to take out the DA. He decides to take the daughter, Gina to keep him in line, not intending to fall for her.
I enjoyed the intense, gruff persona of Luca against the upbeat sunshine Gina. The steam was explosive and the romance evident despite the subject.
Dramatic, dangerous and an intensity all is own. This certainly was a excellent book!!

This is Gina and Luca’s story, a very slow burn, but a good read nevertheless. She’s a ballet dancer, he’s a mafia bad guy, she’s the daughter of a District Attorney, he’s the hitman that’s supposed to take him out. They weren’t supposed to meet but they do and they fall in love. This is a very good book with an ending that I wasn't expecting. I’m looking forward to following books in the series.

When the assassin and dancer get together! Luca turns his back on everything he knows to be with Gina. He had a job to do and went rogue in pursuit of love.

One of the Best Mafia I've Read
Natalie nails Killer's Mark with the attention to detail. You'll be transported around Philadelphia.
Gina is the daughter of the DA, a dancer with dreams, and oppressed by the 2 men in her life. Luca is older, in the Italian Mafia, and has to kill Gina's Dad. Gina is the unexpected lovely complication he never saw coming. I love the way Luca's mind works & how Gina frees herself. In Killer's Mark you'll see old friends from Devil's Territory, meet & fall in love with new ones, such as tell it like it is Lexi & supportive Klein. You'll find drama, intrigue, suspense, and love of all sorts. It has smoking hot scenes that you'll feel like you're invading on they're so in depth. Will Luca find a way to save his family & keep his beautiful choreographer safe? This is a don't miss book, a new favorite you will reread often, & enjoy all the emotions, good & bad along the way. I did tear up a few times. I definitely recommend this book. You'll have a hard time putting this book down and get annoyed when interrupted. Don't say you weren't warned. Enjoy The Rooftop Oasis

Honestly the ending pissed me off so bad I had to DNF. Like after everything Gina is just going to give up the new position she's been working the whole book towards in the dance studio for Luca????? Like no I'm sorry but no. I hated that. Ruined everything else for me. I've tried to come back to it. But there is no coming back I literally only have a chapter and a half. I can't do it.

This is the story of a mafia assassin who falls for his marks daughter, Gina. While it was a little slow at times and left some unanswered questions in my mind, it was still an enjoyable read. I so enjoyed Luca in this story. I received an ARC and I'm leaving this review voluntarily.
