M. Calder has quickly become one of my fav. authors! She has a talent for writing FMC that I just love and want to be when I grow up.
Kami is trying to pick up the scattered pieces of her life that her douche canoe ex-fiance left behind when he decided to end their engagement and move a new girl in. Kami is approached with a money-making offer she can't really afford to say no to...stripping at a high-end strip club. Calder does an amazing job creating a strip club environment, that has to be every stripper's dream. So tech call support by day and stripper by night but can she have both lifestyles? Evan Preston, her boss at her day-time job, was the one man she can't have, the rules were clear..but she knew she wanted him more than anything. But if she learned one thing from the Douch Canoe...it was she would never let a man change her again, never control her and decide her life for her. Could they manage a secret office romance, but more importantly, could Evan accept Kami as the daytime tech wizard she was and the sexy exotic dancer by night?

Great book
When Kami suddenly finds herself in a mountain of debt thanks to her ex-fiance she becomes a stripper to make money. Kami begins to see how much she lost herself while in that relationship with Scott and decides to never let it happen again.
Evan is Kami's boss at her day job.. they both are attracted to each other, but relationships at work are prohibited. They develop a friendship that develops into more. Evan is so sweet, supportive, and just amazing. I loved seeing the relationship between the two. The love and support from both and side characters. And pheww the steamy scenes which we get plenty of..HOT 🔥 🥵

This is a very well written story but there are some tough subjects- be sure to read the trigger warnings.
Kami thought she had found her guy and life was good until it wasn't. She found out her boyfriend was heavy into gambling, stole all the money out of their bank account, maxed out their credit cards, some of which she didn't know about. He told her he didn't love her and then told her to get her stuff out of the apartment because his new girlfriend was moving in. With no money, ruined credit and no place to live, thank goodness for her best friend. Kami learned about exotic dancing and found a great place to work parttime with amazing tips. At her day job she was getting closer to her boss Evan. He had a rough time in a past relationship too but still found himself drawn to Kami. Our author addresses some very difficult issues and gives good advice. This is a compelling story that draws you in and is so hard to put down.

Kami's (Kameron FMC) life is in dire straits when her idiot of an Ex-boyfriend leaves her in a mess of mounting debt and no way of paying it off. Until a chance meeting leads her to a way of making some easy money. To strip at an higher class strip club but still work at her regular day job as well. I really loved Penny (Kami's friend). She was a source of laughs. I also loved Kami's dynamic with her workmate Evan. He was not only sweet but very sexy too!!
Dance for me was dark in places and some parts might upset some people. For me Kami and Evan made this book. A great read

I really enjoyed this book and discovered that once I started reading, I had to continue and finish in one sitting. It moves along at a great pace, which made for an enjoyable read. The characters are amazing and you will love them and want to know more about them and the story, grabs you. This book is a must read, no doubt about it.

Great read. Quick standalone.
Kami has been screwed over by so many things so now she is stuck in debt, sleeping at a friends, frantically trying to scramble to get her life back on track. She has to do what she has to do, to make ends meet. She has no choice, But luckily for her the people she meets on the way make life so much easier to handle.
Brilliant read.

Kami and Evans story is pleasantly unexpected. When kami's butt head of an ex breaks up with her moves in a new girl kami has to get away and figure life out. What she runs into is an opportunity that she wasn't expecting to make extra money. Strip at a high end strip club.
Evan only sees Kami at the office and isn't aware that she has a secret that he may or may not be ok with. But she refuses to let another man control her or her life and besides they arnt supposed to be together. But these two have chemistry off the charts and absolutely was flipping the pages fast..

Loved it
I loved this book! Watching Kami grow and come back into her self was fantastic. I adored Uncle Charlie and his relationship with his nephew Evan. The growth of all the characters was very well done 👏 I will definitely be reading more books from this author 😀

While working herself out of the mess she was left with she embarks on a forbidden romance with Evan, her daytime boss.
The character growth is well written and the chemistry between the two is hot! 🔥

Melody is so talented she writes in so many genre and tropes I can't get enough. I love that kami is trying to find her own I think she is a badass. Forbidden workplace is 🥵 so good.

“I loved it!!! This was such a great story of a forbidden workplace romance and the attraction between Kami and Evan was absolutely great. I admire Kami for finding herself after a bad relationship and building herself back up. And Evan is such a sweetheart. This was a great book and I love M's books, I can't wait to read more of her books.”
