The last thing she wants for Valentine’s Day is to be set up on yet another date that will end with her bed warm but her heart as lonely as ever. Except, life insists on putting Isabela on Olivia’s path and she can’t deny her attraction and the easy connection they share. Not falling for the woman she initially rejected becomes harder than expected the more time they spend together and explore their chemistry in bed. Will passion turn into love for Olivia and Isabela? Tell Me What You Want is a steamy standalone novella in the Talk to Me series.
Johana is a proud Colombian that loves losing herself in stories and fantasy worlds. She loves watching cooking shows, even though she can barely cook, and spending relaxing afternoons reading in her hammock. At risk of becoming a stereotype, she loves to listen to Shakira, Maluma and Karol G, but will always choose tea over coffee.
Her writing is centered on Sapphic stories with romance at their core. She loves fluffy novels where love always wins. She reads and would love to write any genre, but romance and mystery hold a special place in her heart.

Book 1 in the new series Talk to Me and if the cover is anything to go by, it's going to be a hot read. Olivia a busy realtor, is tired of being set up on blind dates by her ex wife Sabine. While she's now friends with her ex (and Sabine's wife Lara) that has evolved from co-parenting their two children Denna and Caleb. Since Sabine and Lara are happy they feel the need for Olivia to find that also, especially Lara. Isabela is a media mogul, comfortable with her success but recovering from being dumped by her fiancee. The common link Lara and when the set up for a Valentine's date between the two fails - she gets them together as realtor and client. Text flirting when cancelling the date has Olivia questioning what the heck she's doing and this is reinforced when Isabela turns out to be a potential new client - Oh Lara!! Eventually two women enter into what starts as a purely physical relationship but quickly becomes much more. Light BDSM, explicit sex scenes and a willingness to communicate wants and desires all add to an overall enjoyable but short erotic read. The bonus epilogue is just as hot. Looking forward to book 2 and what happens next.
Oh my… That’s one of the first things that comes to my mind, when I think about this story.
This story is very very hot and definitely won’t leave you cold. 🥵🥵🥵 But it’s also so much more. Starting from how they Olivia meets Isabela through Olivia’s ex-wife new partner.
Well actually at first Olivia refuses to meet Isabela because she is tired from the set-up dates that never lead somewhere. But the moment she meets Isabela everything changes. Their chemistry is there right from the start and soon they act on it. Again wow there was so much heat. 🥵 Johana Gavez definitely excels writing these scenes. But then they start to talk about what they want including their deepest secrets. Their talks doesn’t only include the bedroom but also everything else, which I loved. I just loved how they talked. How they considered what both needed and that they were on the same page.
All of this made me wish that the story was longer. Of course I knew before how long the story is, but because I was so engrossed in it it still felt like I have just started and then it was already over.
So if you like to read a story with lots of heat, characters with amazing chemistry, who also have amazing communication, this definitely is the story for you. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to read more by Johana. I‘m very happy that there will be more books like this one in the future, because she did an incredible job here.
I received an advance reader copy from the author and voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved Johanna Gavez’ previous books and novellas, especially Match to Love. When I saw this was an upcoming release I was intrigued because she said it wasn’t like her previous work. The book starts with Olivia canceling a blind date set up by a friend with a bad track record for successful setups. When she meets Isabela stepping in as her realtor she feels she may have been too hasty in canceling on her. They find they compliment each other in many ways they hadn’t expected. This was much steamier than her previous work but the plot was solid and her writing was flawless. Even though it’s a novella she still seems to be able to develop her characters and their relationship extremely well. This was a great read and I’m looking forward to seeing if others follow in this series.
Wow this book is hot. Olivia and Isabela have amazing chemistry. They almost missed their chance, but thankfully fate steps in to bring them together. Olivia is devoted to her kids which is nice to see. I hope to read more about these two and Olivia's ex Sabine seems to be up to something with her wife Lara. Can't wait for another steamy installment.
SUPER steamy 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥, this honestly seemed like 90% sex (I'm probably exaggerating), ranging from sweet to light BDSM.
As is often the case, though, things got too hot and we lost the plot. These ladies start screwing like rabbits right quick and their relationship becomes so sex-focused that it just feels shallow.
Still a good read if you're looking for something very steamy and a little kinky, but if you want a real romance, this isn't it.
4 ★ | How the MC is still pally with her ex wife I’ll never know, that could never be me lmao. But I digress, this was a fun read! Hot & steamy. 90% physical and 10% emotions and communication. In my humble opinion.
One thing I wanna know is what did the ex wife want to say to her? All she said was “never mind, it can wait”. But no. No It can’t. I can’t stop thinking about it! Or was it revealed and I just missed that part? It’s really bugging me! 😩
I'm on the fence because I don't usually give very high ratings to these kind of Books. Not for any other reason than they are just good fun, but pretty forgetable and often questionable BUT this book was so mature and sweet. The relationship was super healthy and beautiful. The sex scenes were really well writen, definitately not gentle, but the Feeling of security was Constant. It was hot and fun and sweet and Everything you could have wished for. Very much recommend. An exceptional sapphic romance. For adults, though, cause it's intense.
This was a sweet romance with a lot of steamy scenes. Pretty much what I’m looking for in a good erotica novella. I appreciated the variety in the sex scenes, they were never bland. Looking forward to a second installment in this series.
Smokin’ hot novella…and bonus page. It’s always pleasant to read about happy relationships enjoying some compatible erotic love….perhaps, at times, a bit too erotic for me, but in such cases I just skip over so they don’t wear me out, haha! I’m giving it five stars because of how much I enjoyed it.
This novella is a different take from the sweet romances I have come to expect from Gavez, but definitely another string to her bow. The story starts with a canceled blind date between Olivia and Isabela; the two women have no desire to be set up on Valentine’s Day of all days, even if it is done with the best of intentions. Although, when Olivia shows Isabela around a new apartment they find that there is a chemistry between them that they cannot help but explore. I initially read this story in its early stages and love how Gavez has really expanded the characters and their personalities to really evoke their new relationship. Both women have their emotional baggage but their open communication and trust for one another unfolds really beautifully throughout the novella. Needless to say from the title, Gavez really brings the heat in this story- she really maximizes the chemistry between the two women. I think what impressed me most was how Gavez writes those scenes with incredible skill but also utilizes them to show the trust they have in one another, both in and outside the bedroom. Gavez never fails to depict incredible characters that really stay with you and I really hope that there is more to come from Olivia and Isabela, because their chemistry simmers off the page from beginning to end.
This was a hot and steamy novella which explored a side of BDSM not often broached which could be disturbing for some people. It made a pleasant change to have a couple with such an open communication with each other in a relationship which allowed them to share their fantasies with each other the way they should be able. I felt I would have liked the story to have a bit more to it but then I am more of a fan of longer novels that I can really get my teeth stuck into. I enjoyed this for what it was and would recommend it for anyone who enjoys erotica.
This is one of the steamiest love stories that I have ever read. Olivia and Isabella are a fun couple to follow as they navigate life. They find common ground in thebedroom which only helps to intensify their relationship. 5 stars. I can't wait for the next installment.
I need more. I need to know where their relationships goes and why the hell was Sabine and Lara flirting with that woman. I want to know more!! More angst and more ridiculously HOT sex between our two leading ladies!! I loved this from start to finish!!

I love a no-plot-just-smut book just as much as the next person - bonus if it’s wlw - but there was just far too much detail where the author was describing how much they loved each other every 2 pages etc etc.
Like I don’t need that much over explaining done during smut scenes. I get that it was meant to be passionate or whatever but it got repetitive. Also considering how spicy this was I’m confused as to why the author kept using such mundane words to describe 🐱 like we’re all adults here you can say it.
But it was wlw smut so I can’t complain too much 🙂↔️
A blind date that wasn’t. A chance meeting that wasn’t. Who knows when you will find your “one”. When nosy friends try to setup Isabela and Olivia on a blind date, they both shut it down, When they set them up for Olivia to help Isabela find a new apartment after her breakup, the meddling seems to have backfired again as they are both resistant. But as they start to spend time together, their friendship develops into much more, even if they need to list to the gloating from their friends.
The relationship is sweet and pretty steamy. There are some explicit sex scenes but they are very well done and add to the relationship. The characters are well fleshed out and believable in their vulnerability. It was a quick read but one I very much enjoyed.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This book is the first Johana Gavez book i read and I absolutely loved it.
Olivia is a realtor who is tired of being set up on blind dates. Isabela is CEO of Santamaría Media. Their link in common Lara sets them up on a blind date for Valentine's Day, which fails. Flirting when cancelling the date has Olivia wondering what she is doing.
Isabela turns into a potential client. Entering a physical relationship that quickly becomes more, much more.
I adored both of the characters and enjoyed watching as they grow and change. The light BDSM was also a wonderful addition to the book.
I have reread this book multiple times now. I recommend this book and always will.
A hot, erotic story that was mostly a pleasant read. I say mostly, because choking scenes are a bit much for me to even read.
Most of the story takes place in one or the other main characters' bedrooms, with only few scenes elsewhere. For some reason this felt a little hollow.
Recommended for people who are looking for a hot, light read that keeps you entertained for a while in this troubled world.
What a wonderful story. Olivia just wanted some to love her after her ex had found someone else. Lara the ex's new wife keep trying to set her up with someone. Isabella was happy that Olivia cancelled the date and not just leave her hanging. Lara again puts them together and things work out perfectly. You can feel the love that they have for each other. It's a well written story of two people in love and tell each another what they want.
I really liked Tell Me What You Want. The bdsm is on point. The romance is cute. I like Olivia and Isabela together. I cannot wait to see where Gavez takes us next…she drops a huge clue in the story so be looking for it.
I received an ARC of this book and I am writing a review without prejudice and voluntarily.

This book was HOT HOT HOT. I suggest having a cold shower on standby.
I enjoyed this book, one thing I wasn't sure about was the choking. This is the first Erotica book I have read that has choking in it, so this was new for me.
The characters are great and the book is well written.
Honestly I got this for the spice but I was very pleasantly surprised with the plot and characters. The connection between the MCs was magnetic and so beautifully written! The spicy scenes were all about emotion, connections and consent. Definitely read if your looking for lots of spice and lots of love. ❤️
This is not the first book by Johana that I've read but it's certainly the hottest. Thoroughly enjoyed the story that unfolded between the two main characters. Looking forward to the next release in the series. 😃
You never know when you might meet your special someone, so be alert and open to possibilities. Johanna Gave is a great writer who makes you feel you're right there with her characters. Well done!
I loved how they met. I like that a friend wanted to set them up but Olivia cancelled. They did end up meeting and it was great after that. I loved that they were so good together.
