The men in this anthology are trained assassins who criminals fear at night. Corrupt politicians and mobsters could be their client or their target. Each hit brings a new risk, a new rush, but when it’s all over they still have a heart.
It takes a strong woman to stand by a man with a profession like theirs. Women who do are hard to come by. As each of them find the one who makes their cold heart race, they know immediately that they will stop at nothing to keep them safe.
There has only ever been one rule: No witnesses.
In April 2023, meet eight hitmen who are downright dangerous. They do nothing halfway, but they have blood on their hands and love in their hearts.
The only question remains, can that love save them all?

***** ARC Reading ***** Noah is a hire hit man but he only killed the people who did evil things to women. His last hit took him to jail. He acted like he was incarcerated and when the time was right he went to the infirmary and killed the man. Ayden was the doctor at the jail Noah was at and at least once a week he would make an excuse to go to the infirmary to see her. When Noah did his job and he was leaving he took Ayden with him. She didn’t protest or put up a fight. She couldn’t figure out why either. When they got back to Noah’s he was very honest with her snd basically told her what he did. He asked if she would give them a chance to work out. Will Ayden stay with Noah? Will his job scare her to run? I really enjoyed this book by Nikki, but I like all of her books. It was a quick read. I think it ended too soon and I would love to find out what happens in their future. Maybe it will be in another book. This is a standalone book but some of the characters are from Nikki’s other books.
I read the story of Nikki Rome for now 4,5 I read Nikki Rome's story in this anthology. It's definitely action-packed by Noah's trade as a hitman. The relationship is relatively unlikely; she saves lives without judgment and he takes the lives of those who have committed crimes. I liked that everything contrasts these characters in their moral choices, questions them when faced with decisions to be made, while remaining hot. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
hitman by Nikki Rome- Ayden never thought she would end up working in a prison medics, neither did she expect to find a man like Noah. Noahs a hit man with a target on the inside, but Ayden could threaten his latest job by being distraction, one he plans to take with him, in his escape. well written steamy, hitman, medic, desires jail break out.

This story was told in dual first person POV and is a standalone quick read. I have enjoyed all of Nikki Rome’s books so far and I enjoyed this one as well. I do wish it was longer, but I enjoyed that a lot of the previous characters from her other books made an appearance.
I loved that Noah was determined to rid the world of the evil men who did harm. I loved that he gave Ayden a choice to be with him or not and gave her the space she requested. I loved that Ayden found a job doing what she loved and that she came to her senses and talked things out with Noah.
I hope that in the future, Nikki decides to expand on their story and we get more of Mia and Antonio to see how that story plays out.
I received an advanced readers copy via BookFunnel from the author. These thoughts and opinions are my own and left voluntarily after reading for my own enjoyment.
I loved this book! Easy to read, beautiful language and well written. This was about Hitman Noah who took out a hit while in jail and took Ayden a Doctor when he escaped. Their relationship wasn't all smooth but I enjoyed the conflict of interest between them and what they went through. I also enjoyed the lead on to the next book and really look forward to that. I really liked the characters and the feelings they had. This book was well put together and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Can't wait for more!! This was an ARC and this is my honest review.
The story of Noah and Ayden. He is a hitman and hired to do a job in the prison and Ayden is the doctor that works in the prison. Noah has been going to see her and felt a connection to her as well as herself. He knew she cant have her but he would do anything for her and risk. Its the ups and downs of these two that you want to make it. Their connection is fierce and the chemistry is off the charts. You are going to love this story as much as I did.

Noah is a man of many skills, but romancing a woman isn’t one of them. He kidnaps his Little Doc, runs around like a headless chicken because of her, and finds out she has a cat, whom he does fall in love with but likes to act like he hates the dang thing. But in the end, they make an adorable little family!
I can’t wait to read another book by Nikki Rome!.

Absolutely loved this book. Noah is a hitman hired to killed Costa (from the “Dark Kings” book). Ayden is the prison doctor that’s in the wrong place at the wrong time. Fast pace mafia hitman romance. The ending leads up to the second book. Great read.
