Harper Young devoted every minute of her life to caring for her wolves at Yellowstone’s Wolf World. It wasn’t an easy task. Things got heated when it appeared the ranchers, fed up with her rules, were targeting her. Enter Stone Jacobs and the Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone. Stone has a new group of men recently out of the Army looking for the next chapter in their lives and Stone has just the thing. Sending Gabe Walker to Wolf World he gives him his mission: protect Harper at all costs. That might not be so easy, with ranchers shooting at her and rumors of an illegal hunt floating in the air. But the chemistry between them can overcome a lot…if they live through it.

Book 1 in a 5 book multi author series from the Brotherhood Protectors World. Team Wolf, any thing to do with wolves grabs me and then to have Stone and the recently retired group of hunky alpha men.....win. I really appreciated that we saw the struggles that go on with introducing wolves back into the parks, the pros as well as the cons. As much as these books are romance with steam I enjoy them providing me with information and entertainment. Harper reaches out to Stone after someone takes a pot shot at her and Wade is the lucky recipient to keep her safe. Grab all 5 books, hunker down and read to your hearts content. Gabe and Harper

Harper is in charge of the wolf preserve. She is having troubles with the neighboring ranches. They want her gone so they can hunt the wolves.
Gabe has been sent to the wolf preserve to protect Harper. He never thought he would fall for her but he has. He will protect her and the wolves.
The ranchers need Harper gone so they can have the big hunt. They never expected they could be stopped with all their money backing them. Who will win this hunt?

Informative and steamy with plain speech and a happy ending.
It starts out a little slow with an introduction of the former First Brigade Combat Team, Army’s 10th Mountain Division to Hank Patterson, Stone Jacobs, the premise of the Brotherhood Protectors, and the trouble found at Yellowstone’s wolf sanctuary, but the instant attraction/mission portion is steamy with some action.
When the vendetta of self-entitled wealthy ranchers threatens Harper Young and the wolves she has vowed to protect, former Army sniper Gabe Walker finds his first job as a protector quickly turning into a search and rescue.

May be read as a standalone but is best read in series order.

This is an action-packed story of kindred spirits and the dog they love which contains a fair amount of violence but is balanced by good-natured family humor, some steamy moments, and a heartwarming ending.
Granted a long weekend to find solitude and solace in the wilderness, Nate “The Edge” Edgerton and his medically discharged companion Reese find themselves witnesses of wolf poaching, protecting unsuspecting wildlife photographer Hannah Mackey, and the targets of a local paramilitary group the Real Patriots.

A drama and action-packed then and now second chance at a love story which is complicated by greed, prejudice, condescension, reduced intellect, and the fear to commit.
Bad timing results in on-leave Army mechanic Alex “Ridge” Ridgley and Yellowstone correctional officer Eris Lange separating without promises but a chance meeting as new coworkers brings them back together only for Alex to almost losing her again to the disgruntled Pruitt brothers.
May be read as a standalone. Best if read in series order. Contains some violence.

Guarding Harper: Brotherhood Protectors: Team Wolf, Book 1 is by Desiree Holt. Desiree has once again written a winner. Her stories are always action packed and very realistic. This one definitely fits the pattern.
Gabe Walker and his team have just joined the Brotherhood Protectors in Yellowstone. Rather the others did, Gabe is still holding out as he isn’t sure yet. However, he doesn’t hesitate to take on the first job of protecting someone when asked to. Harper Young ran the Yellowstone Wolf Preserve and was having problems with people cutting the fences and drawing the wolves out of the preserve to kill them. They were getting bolder and actually shooting at her when she drove around the preserve checking the fences and the wolves. The sheriff wasn’t helping much at all. She turned to the Brotherhood for help.
Gabe went to the preserve to protect Hannah. He had his tent and was perfectly at home camping out. Hannah took him around the preserve so he could get a sense of what was going on. They saw a man sitting on a horse overlooking the preserve with a rifle. Gabe made sure the man saw that he was carrying one as well.
The man was one of Ed Culhane’s ranch hands. Ed was the richest man in the area and by hook or crook had managed to take over other ranches so his ranch was also the largest around. He was determined to get his way, no matter what or how. Now, he wanted the preserve gone and the legislature to change the laws so they could hunt anywhere at anytime for gray wolves. His longtime friend and fellow rancher, Frank Winslow was all for the same thing. Together they wanted it all and were not going to let one little lady stand in their way.

What a great story by Desiree Holt and start to a 5 book collection within Elle James Brotherhood Protectors world.
I loved seeing Stone Jacobs again and Hanks appearance. It’s like seeing old friends again.
The main male character Gabe is so scrumptious. Total alpha male, protective and the ideal man we all have in our minds. Seeing him
Work alongside his brothers-in-arms gives you the comforting feeling of love and acceptance. He has a strong moral compass and a need to give support to those that need help.
Harper is a strong minded, independent female. She’s badass. Yet to protect the animals she fights to keep safe she accepts any help she can get. Such a beautiful soul.
Watching these two characters come together to keep the animals safe whilst getting a handle on their instant chemistry is addictive reading.
These two characters are perfect for each other.
Harper’s strength of character to do everything she can to survive until Gabe can find her is awe inspiring and Gabe’s dogged determination to find the woman who completes him is mesmerising.
Desiree Holt is no doubt a talented author, pulling us into the story and Cole too. That is set to be unforgettable.
Can’t recommend highly enough.

This is a wonderful start to a new Brotherhood Protectors Team.

I loved both of the two main protagonists. Both are strong alpha types. Harper runs the Wolf World preserve at Yellowstone. Several of the rich ranchers in the area want her gone and her wolves dead. She can't protect them 24/7 when things escalate so she calls a friend which has a newly formed Brotherhood team to the area. Gabe and his team have recently left the Army. Gabe's name is drawn as the first to get the assignment at Wolf World. There is an instant attraction between them but much is at stake.

Will the ranchers prevail and get rid of Harper and the wolves? Can Gabe and his team protect them? At what length will the ranchers go to get rid of Harper and the wolves? Murder? Kidnapping? Well you will have to read for yourself.

This book is written in a multiple POV format!!! Yay! I LOVE a dual POV but to get multiple with the "bad" guys as well, perfection.

A word of caution as this is a sexy read (with just a few scenes so you could skip over that). I would highly recommend this to anyone over the age of 18 though.

First book in a new series all about the second team to join the brotherhood protector's Yellowstone series and it is aptly named Team Wolf as most of the stories seem to be based around the protection of the wolves that call Yellowstone national Park and it's surrounds home.

In this first book we meet Team leader Gabe Walker who is sent to help Harper Young a woman who is running Wolf World and who is desperately trying to protect her wolves. But someone is determined to hunt them to extinction and is willing for Harper to be a causality in the process As he settles into her world to protect her Gabe will find not only a woman worth fighting for but also a need to protect the majestic animals she loves. It will take him and all his team and the help of others if they are all going to live to see justice for the animals

Guarding Harper is a spectacular romantic suspense by the always entertaining Desiree Holt. Ms. Holt has once again delivered a fabulous story furnished with a stellar cast of characters. Gabe is former military and now works for the Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone Division. Harper is running a wolf sanctuary with the help of two part-time workers. Her neighbors and others in the area want the sanctuary gone and are willing to make it happen. Gabe and Harper's story has plenty of drama, humor, steamy sexy bits, action and suspense to keep readers glued to this book. This fantastic read is book 1 of the Brotherhood Protectors World; Team Wolf Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.

This is book 1 in a multi-author series in the Brotherhood Protectors World, and this series focusing on Team Wolf, with a specific interest in the gray wolves of Yellowstone National Park. I learned a great deal from each book, and the topic is really fascinating. Add to that fascination the gorgeous men of the Brotherhood Protectors, including Stone, and some truly awe-inspiring women, and you have five truly winning books.

Guarding Harper introduces Team Wolf and Gage, as well as Harper who is facing increasingly unstable and frankly insane threats from local ranchers who want free access to hunt the wolves. It will take the whole team to save Harper, which is also a great way to meet the other guys. This is vintage Desiree Holt, with steam, edge-of-your seat tension, and a fabulous HEA. Don’t miss it.

This is a great read. It is suspenseful and their chemistry is off the charts. “Their motto for their First Brigade Combat Team was “find a way or make one,” and they’d kept that in place.”

Harper is having trouble at the Yellowstone Wolf Preserve. Someone wants to scare her off so they can close the preserve and have access to the wolves for hunting. But now it's gone beyond scaring her, to being shot at. Her protector is hot and sexy. “I only hope his protective skills are as strong as the hot sexy vibe oozing from him.”

Gabe is a new member of the Brotherhood Protectors. His first assignment is to protect Harper and the Yellowstone Wolf Preserve. Harper is not what he expected. “She is the sexiest woman he’d seen in what seemed forever. Not to mention the fact that she was smart as a whip.” Now, if he can keep her alive long enough to get to know her and ask her on a date.

I Loved the plot and the characters, interesting and exciting. Original idea with the wolf sanctuary. Unfortunately I couldn't give five stars as there were inconsistencies, wrong name to comment and various other errors. Minor as individual things but they mount up as the story goes on. I did enjoy it and would actually have liked a bit more of the wolf side of things. The two ranchers were very repetitive and to be honest I wanted to throat punch them both, which is probably what the author was aiming at. I'm sad I couldn't mark higher but that wouldn't be fair to all the other five star reads I've reviewed so had to settle for three on this one. I'm sorry Desiree, I'm sure you put heart and soul into this.

Wild life conservationist Harper Young’s well-connected and wealthy neighbor has gone too far, having her watched, setting her wolves loose so he can hunt them then took a shot at her! Harper’s neighbor decided laws didn’t apply to him. He wants the wolves dead, protected or not and less stringent hunting laws. He’s willing to go as far as he needs to to get his way.

Harper contacts her friend, Stone, leader of the new Yellowstone Brotherhood protection team and Gabe Walker is sent to investigate. Within hours Gabe’s seen everything Harper’s accused her legally untouchable neighbor of doing. With the office setting up and the rest of the team just moving to town, they’re dedicated to Harper as her neighbor flexes his power.

Harper is a smart, sexy, independent women.
Babe is a sexy, alpha protective male.
This is definitely attraction between the two, will they act on it.

Harper loves working on the Wolf Preserve in West Yellowstone and has found peace happens and love.

Gabe who thought he would be alone also found love and happiness with
Harper.

You will have to read the book to find out what happens.
I loved visiting familiar characters Stone, Hank and Santiago.
This book has intrigue, suspense, romance and a second chance at love.

This is a great start to Team Wolf in the Brotherhood world which I love to read. Team wolf become part of the Brotherhood Protectors in Yellowstone where their skills are put to great use in this environment. Gabe is the first one for an assignnment, he's sent to protect Harper at 'Wolf World'. The rich local ranchers want her gone, they're more interested in hunting the wolves and making more money. They'll do anything to get their way. Gabe didn't expect to lose his heart around this woman. She is brave and admirable and everything he didn't know he needed in life. Will they both survive this danger?
Great story, I loved it.

It is filled with suspense and action packed and chemistry and romance and so much more. Harper is head of the wolf sanctuary and now is getting threats for her life and still trying to keep people from poaching on the wolves.Gage is sent to protect her but when 2 big time local ranchers make their feelings known can he keep her safe? This book will keep you hooked on the edge of your seat. Congratulations Desiree Holt on a absolutely phenomenal book.

I loved the story. The story keeps you interested and unable to put the book down. Some action and romance. Harper works at Yellowstone Wolf World. She is studying wolves and trying to keep them safe from poacher and ranchers. Someone doesn't want her to continue her work. They believe they should be able to kill the wolves. Gabe is sent to protect Harper and figure out who is targeting her. They are attracted to each other also. Will Gabe be able to keep Harper safe? Will he find who is behind the attempt on Harper's safety? Must read to find out. I read an arc of this book and this is my review.

Gage has joined the Brotherhood Protectors after his discharge from the Army. His first assignment is to protect Harper who is in charge of the Wolf Preserve at Yellowstone. She is up against the ranchers who don’t want her or the wolves in their neighborhood. They frequently cut the fence line and lure the wolves out to kill them saying they were attacking their cattle. They also want the annual hunting season lengthened. Guarding her puts them both into close proximity to each other and there is a lot of attraction going on there. Will they get out alive? Lots of action and intrigue.

A great start to a new series in the Brotherhood Protectors World with a new group of former military men who join the Yellowstone division.
First up is Gabe, whose first assignment is to protect Harper, a wolf expert who works at the sanctuary and has been getting threats. These two have sparks from the start and doesn’t take long for the them to take a chance on each other…to bad someone wants her out of the way.
A great read with insta everything and great characters. I loved the no drama between them and the introduction to a new group of men that will have their own stories as well.

Harper has spent her life taking care and running a wolf sanctuary that helps keep the grey wolf from disappearing and getting killed by ranchers. Now those same ranchers want her gone along with the grey wolf and they will do whatever it takes to get it done. Stone has a new group of guys coming to work for him and he sends Gabe to protect Harper and solve the case. There's an instant attraction between the two and together they make quite the team. This book has danger, suspense, drama, romance and is a great start to this series.

I loved this book. The story quickly captured my attention and held it with ease. The smartly crafted blend of danger, suspense, emotion, action drama and heart made for entertaining reading, while the complex characters had me deeply invested. I really liked Harper and Gabe. The attraction between them was easy to feel and their chemistry was undeniable. This book gets this new series off to an excellent start, and I for one cannot wait to read more of it. She talks to Stone Jacobs about it and he gets a team of men he worked with while in the army to come and become Brotherhood Protector World. When Harper and Gage Walker meet it is instant connection. They try to flight it but they get together while he trying to protect her and the wolves. She gets kidnapped and they know who did it and he is determined to find her.

This new series is off to a great start.
Gabe’s first assignment with the Brotherhood Protectors is Guarding Harper and the wolves at her wolf sanctuary.
But not everyone is happy about the wolves and will stop at nothing to make Harper and her wolves disappear. Gabe has quite the mystery to solve.
I love the characters and the insane chemistry between them. This story has just enough suspense, danger and drama to keep you interested.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading about Harper and Gabe! Harper’s fierce protection of giving wolves a sanctuary is what made this a great read. Add in an Alpha male protecting Harper and its a match made in heaven. I actually enjoyed the interaction with all the characters, the good as well as the bad. We don’t always find out what the bad guys plan until near the end of a book but with this book we were kept on edge with about their plans. An excellent start to a new series

Set in Elle James world of Brotherhood Protectors, this new five book multi author series is based in Yellowstone. A new team is being brought in under Stone Jacobs from Fort Drum, and this first book is bringing us Gabe Walker. He's sent to protect Harper who is having trouble at the Yellowstone Wolf Project. Harper Young will take all the help she can get against the ranchers trying to drive her away with stray bullets. However the help may steal her heart.

Harper has worked tirelessly to keep the wolves that live on the preserve inside Yellowstone Park. When she realizes that she is in danger she goes to Stone Jacobs who is in charge of a team of ex-army special forces that are now working for the Brotherhood Protectors. She is assigned a man named Gabe that is going to help keep her and her wolves safe. Loved the book and how Gabe and Harper can work together. I would recommend this book and the series.

Her neighbors want to hunt all the wolves and harass her by cutting her fences, drawing the wolves out, shooting them, and shooting at her. When Harper is kidnapped, the team goes into high gear to find her and bring the culprits to justice. A great start to the Team Wolf series. Love Gabe and Harper.

This is the first in a new series with multiple authors. We see Harper trying to deal with sabotage around the wolf sanctuary she runs. Gabe is sent in to help. He and Harper quickly become a couple and also realize they need more help as they are up against wealthy ranchers. The suspense is intense especially when she is kidnapped. The protectors ban together along with a new character to figure things out and right the wrongs.

highly enjoyable

It was really interesting to read a story set around such an iconic and beautiful place as Yellowstone national park and involving such amazing creatures as the wolves. I envy Harper her job although I could understand how she found herself at odds with the bigoted local ranch owners. Luckily she had Gabe and his team on her side. This is a fun and action packed story. Enjoyed it immensely.

I received this book as a gift and voluntarily chose to leave an honest review. This is a well written book with awesome characters. I am a fan of wolves to begin with and this is a wonderful story about them. This is one for those who like military, hot men and HEA endings. I am also a big fan of Ms Holt. This one is worth your time. I would encourage everyone to get this one you will not be able to put it down.
