A Little who can't trust. A Daddy who won't love. Until they meet each other...
Sammy Tully recently came out of an abusive relationship. His last so-called ‘Daddy’ didn’t even deserve to be called by that name. Now, submissive Sammy – a talented but chaotic interior designer – can’t trust anyone except his two best Little friends, Kurt and Damon. Most of the time that’s enough. His sense of fun is more than catered for by the mischievous duo. But sometimes… Sammy wants more.
Dr. Adonis Ranger is a gruff workaholic who never lets himself get too close to people. As a kink-allied therapist, he spends his days helping others with their intimate problems. But his knowledge of BDSM is purely academic. He doesn't live the lifestyle himself. And until he meets one special patient, he doesn't even know he's a Daddy yet.
When a cute, innocent Little shows up for therapy, Adonis goes above and beyond to offer guidance. He orders Sammy to follow a strict routine as part of his treatment. But when Sammy abruptly ends the therapy, Adonis thinks he’ll never see him again. However, a chance meeting at the local BDSM club throws Sammy and Adonis back together – under very different circumstances.
Can they work out how to give each other what they so desperately need? Can Sammy handle Adonis' stern hand of discipline? Can Adonis allow his feelings to blossom for this Little? Or, when an old, dangerous face turns up trying to destroy everything, can their trust – and love – withstand the ultimate test?
This is an MM Age Play romance featuring consenting adults who are perfect for each other. It includes spanking, suspense, sweetness, and a full-blooded Happy Ever After. Enjoy!
A Little Club New York City book that can be enjoyed as a standalone with no cliffhanger.
I love to write sweet, sexy M/M Age Play Romance. Amazing characters, great settings, and exciting plots make my heart race! When I'm not crafting kinky tales in my rustic shack, I love to hit the gym, cuddle up with my cats, Mustache and Dojo, and cook deliciously large portions of yummy food!
Make me happy by chatting to me about coffee, cats, and Happy Ever Afters...
Sammy had just suffered an abrupt breakup and is still reeling with the loss. Adonis is a sexual therapist who works too much and lives a lonely life. The two meet when Sammy comes in for a therapy session to get his life back on track.
What I really liked about this story was how quickly the patient doctor conflict was resolved - it was almost nonexistent which was wonderful. I was expecting it to be a bigger part of the story but luckily for the reader, the story was front and center on Sammy and Adonis growing their relationship as little and Daddy. Adonis is a natural caretaker, learning about the Daddy role for the first time in real life application rather than through textbook knowledge. Sammy is an adorable little who needs help getting over the toxic relationship with his previous Daddy.
These two were cute and adorable and had great chemistry. Any angst in the story came from side characters for the most part. A couple of toxic characters add some drama for a brief period of time because they are vanquished! This was a cute story that I give 3.5/5 stars.

This is a nice story about opposites being attracted to each other. Sammy was a free spirit with no routines. Adonis was strict with lots of structure. Wonders happen when Adonis teaches Sammy some routines to follow.

I thought that this was an awesome book. I loved Sammy and Adonis together. The connection and chemistry between these two was wonderful. Sammy has been depressed and was referred to Adonis for help. However, feelings changed their path from professional to personal. These two have some things to work through but they do get a really a sweet HEA. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it.

Could Sammy trust again? Sammy has just got out of a very bad relationship. Sammy is a little, and his ex had been his daddy. He was trying his best to get back into the swing of things. He is a interior designer and he is working on a room at a little BDSM club. Thankfully he’s got two very good friends who help him Kurt and Damon. They recommended he speak to a therapist a kink therapist. His name is Dr Adonis Ranger and the first time that Sammy met him he was instantly attracted to him. He found it easy to talk to him and agreed that Dr Adonis would ring him that night to see how he was doing before he went to bed.
Adonis did not enjoy his work. That was mainly because of his boss who was making his life uncomfortable. Obvious he was flirting with him but he had no feelings towards his boss. There was a sudden knock at the door and in walked the cutest man ever. He felt instantly attracted to him but he was his patient and he would be professional. They have a good conversation and agreed to talk later. Adonis can’t seem to get Sammy off his mind and when he rings him that night and reads him a bedtime story he really starts to feel that he could be a daddy. When is Sammy breaks down and tells in can’t see him anymore it really hurts Adonis. But if he’s not his patient anymore there’s nothing stopping him from seeing him.
Sammy wasn’t expecting to find Adonis at the little club and when he spoke to Sammy he had authority in his voice and Sammy had to follow. But would this really work?? Could Sammy trust again? is it really was Adonis wants?? Oh my gosh I just totally fell for both of these guys. There’s so much heartache in this book and there’s twists and turns that you just don’t see coming. The changes that Sammy goes through after having such an effective and caring daddy Is just brilliant everything is clearer. Adonis and Sammy are just perfect for one another but can they work together when things get tough?? I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more from these authors.

I absolutely loved this book it was fantastic, the story was so exhilarating and the characters were sensational. Sammy is a Little and who needs loving and caring, after what Sammy went through the cruelty spankings that were rough, hard and unwarranted to have it everyday and his last Daddy just up and left him without a reason. Sammy needed help so he went to a therapist and that is when he met Adonis. As a therapist Adonis doesn't have time for himself so he just worked even harder. Things started to change with feelings when Sammy had to stop going he didn't have enough money to see Adonis as his therapist. Things changed between them when Adonis wanted to be close to him caring even reading books to him of a night. Sammy felt safe but when they touch they both had the giddiness and tingles down their spine but Adonis has never been a Daddy he doesn't even have friends.

So definitely feeling generous with 2 stars. DNF at 85% and it was some tough reading to get it that far. I liked the plot, lost little with an abusive ex, falling for his therapist who realizes he might be a Daddy. But it fell apart pretty quickly. One, Sammy had one session with Adonis and then wasn't his client anymore. So I really don't see the issue with hiding their relationship from Douglas. And the whole Douglas wanting Adonis was just weird, esp since Adonis who is suppose to be some sex therapist put up with his what was portrayed as outright sexual harrasment at work. And Sammy was suppose to be this top notch designer that was making it big but couldn't even finish one project? Being distracted and unorganized is one thing but come on. And don't get me started on Striker, with wide kinks but is suppose to be a Daddy Dom? He sure didn't seem to know how act or comfort Sammy when he was obviously falling apart, in fact he made it seem like a huge inconvience. The 2 other little best friends, ok I get you are littles but why are you always at the club? Let your friend work! If they are as close as they seem To be they'd know Sammy has a job to do. And why on earth would you leave Sammy alone with an abusive ex? That scene made no sense what so ever. Like do people have a tracker on Sammy? How do they know where he is, cause Adonis showed up as well.
And the relationship b/w Sammy and Adonis was so....weird? Offputting? It's like they talked but they didn't talk and all of a sudden they are Daddy and little. And last thing that made me have a hard time reading this was the scene when they first did it, Sammy was concerned about size, "will it even fit?" And then no prep! Literallly none! Unless it is specifically written the MC taking it likes no prep cause they like the pain/stretch, it makes no sense when they just pop it right in! I have no idea if the last 15% got better or not, I wanted to like this book, Daddy/littles are one of my favorite troupes, but this one really missed the mark.
I've got to be honest. I was very excited to read this book since I love the DDlb trope, but I had a hard time getting into the story. The grammar was fine, but the way the author writes is a bit off-putting and immature. A lot of the scenes just did not make sense or were totally infeasible, like the interactions between Adonis and Douglas where Adonis is trying to complain about his workload and Douglas is pretty much telling him to suck it up and then sexually harasses him. Or when it was mentioned that Sammy was a DJ but then talks about how he was an interior designer. Or when Sammy walks in to his therapist appointment and Adonis is already treating him like a Little with rules and saying he was going to call him so he can check up on him to make sure he is following all the rules. I was shaking my head and scratching it trying to figure if it was going to get better and/or less confusing and disjointed, but DNF.
Also, there were some British English slang and spelling although the book was set in New York, without an explanation if they were ex-pats, so I am assuming the author is from there.

This is the first book in the Little Club New York City series with a little who is need of a daddy and a daddy in need of a little 😊. Sammy a little who is depressed, issues with a bully, insecure about considering his background and wants a daddy to love him for him but that can’t happen because of his trust issues. Dr. Adonis a true workaholic although a therapist in helping people with their BDSM issues, not the problem is he doesn’t live the life so it is all book knowledge, in fact he doesn’t allow anyone to get to close, he wants a little but never thought he would find one until one special little comes into his office he goes above and beyond for him so why did he just stop coming to therapy is one of the questions among many for the doctor. Thinking the one patient that spiked his interest he won’t see again until fate steps in throwing the two of them together at the club outside of the office but is it enough for the two of them to give each other a chance, will he be the daddy Sammy needs loving, kind, understanding, most of all no abusive, will he be the little the doc. needs to bring balance into his life both learning how to deal with a bully, and can they find something they need happiness?.

Alors pourquoi je me sens si… triste ? pensa Sammy.
Sammy is having a hard time recovering from his Daddy's sudden departure. His ex Daddy was a very demanding and controlling Daddy who did some mean things like taking away Sammy's stuffie and not returning and keeping him away from his friends. His leaving Sammy with very little explanation has left Sammy distracted and struggling. His friends talk Sammy into going to a kink allied therapist . Meeting Dr. Adonis has put Sammy on a better path. Dr. Adonis had suggested that Sammy try to follow a list of rules and a certain schedule. Hopefully a set schedule will make him more productive at work. Sammy is encouraged by having new ideas to try but sad because he can only pau for one session. He tries to distance himself from Dr. Adonis because he knows he can't afford more but Dr. Adonis won't give up on him.
Dr. Adonis Ranger is not happy with his life. He is very sucessful as a therapist for the kink community but work is all he seems to do. Most of his patients seem to push against his professional rules. He is getting tired of his patients trying to shock him Then he meets Sammy a sweet Little boy who really needs help to go on with his life. He misses having a Daddy to set boundaries for him. Adonis helps him set up some boundaries and a schedule. He can't get Sammy out of his mind even when Sammy misses his next appointment and doesn't answer his calls. Adonis has developed some very protective and caring feelings for Sammy. Could it be that he has been a Daddy all along and he just needed the right boy to show him?
It is sad when a daddy isn’t such a good daddy that is Sammy situation, he just got out of an abusive relationship with a man who didn’t need to have the title daddy. Sammy is an interior designer, but he has learned to not trust anyone outside of his true friends (who are littles as well). Dr. Ranger sexy as all get out daddy (well he learned he is a daddy) he is a true workaholic and keep his distance from well everyone and doesn’t know much about the kink world until his latest client. So when Sammy shows up needing therapy, he knows it is crossing a line when he starts to care for the young man and the attraction is to intense for either of them to ignore but how can he steps outside of his professional and how can he not be the daddy needed by this little boy so how will they handle being with each other since their attraction is like a really strong magnet and can Sammy find a daddy who will love him regardless of him being beautifully broken?

Lot of good ideas in this story! Sammy is recently coming out of an abusive relationship with an incompetent Daddy, Graeme who abandoned him. He spends his time with his bestie little friends, Kurt and Damon. They suggest a therapist, Dr Adonis who is a kink therapist. Dr Adonis, doesn't know he's a Daddy, until he meets Sammy in therapy. Sammy, just draws the Daddy out of him. Sammy and Dr Adonis each drag baggage that feeds into their mutual need of each other. They each feel an attraction to the other, but keep it to themselves. How do they work around the 'ethics' question? Will they remain silent for the sake of recovery? Will they heal each other? Can Dr Adonis put down his workaholic ways? Will Sammy learn to trust? Will Sammy allow himself to heal? Nice story. The author created exquisite characters in Sammy and Adonis. Well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I looked forward to reading this book about Sammy, a lost boy who was mistreated by his last daddy and just wants to find a loving daddy to care for and play with him and his two little friends. He seems to find a doctor daddy in Adonis. I liked the book mostly but I have some things that did not make sense or annoyed me. I had to push myself to finish the later chapters and found the MC's find their hfn/hea.
I give this book 3*, if some of the issues I noticed are solved it could easily be rated higher. I see opportunities for books in the future for both Damon and Kurt and hope that those will be have non of the issues I noticed in this one.
Triggers: mention of mental and physical partner abuse, harassment and sexual harassment by superior in the workplace

I enjoyed this book by Zane Fox which happens to be my first book by this author. Sammy and Adonis meet when Sammy's previous Daddy left him high and dry and didn't respect his Little side and Sammy seeks counseling from Adonis. They quickly see they are attracted to each other and Adonis doesn't want to cross any lines with Sammy. Since Sammy could only afford one session it worked out for them both and Adonis realizes he has Daddy Dom tendencies and just wasn't sure to nature Sammy. Low angst in the former of a creepy boss and a mean ex. I loved Sammy's friends Damon and Kurt. They are the best Little friends Sammy could have. Kurt's book is up next. I would recommend this series to those who love Daddy's, Littles, stuffies, role play and bff's.
- an MM romance! Dr. Ranger and his client fall in love… instalove, age play, age gap - look the writing isn’t great but it’s a cute story - you are being sexually harassed by your boss, how do you not see it?? you’re a sex therapist?? - my dyslexic ass kept reading ’Adonis’ as ‘Adidas’ - i don’t like how there was absolutely NO prep done before anal?? wtf?? - i loved that Sammy stood up to his abusive ex!! all by himself too, great character development - ah and then he ruined it😂 - his two best friends are v sweet - so many exclamation marks and so many not in the right place - “Okay!” He said shyly… like come on - the epilogue was really sweet! - look like i said it wasn’t great writing but i did enjoy the story and it’s me i’ll read the rest of series 😂
The writing style is good, not my favorite though, still good. Point. The good part ends there.
God, my left eye is blinking. Strong. What a boring, pointless and meaningless story. Adonis, is one of the worst Daddy Dom I have ever seen. He managed to be more childish than Sammy, who is a bore with a loyalty card.
I tried, I tried really hard, to read to the end, but it was like torture. I got to the penultimate chapter jumping and running over, to see if I got to the good parts, but there were no good parts. I wanted to like it, I swear I did. But it didn't happen. Which isn't surprising, since everything I've tried to read by this author, I end up abandoning and stressed out. I'll take some time to give him a chance, maybe in a couple of years I'll try again. Who knows!
This is my first book by Zane Fox and I will be back for more.

When a therapist and a client meet and there's instant white hot attraction, what do you do? Well this daddy and this little decide to explore after that relationship ends. The therapist is a great guy but has some insecurities about whether he can be a great Daddy. The little, he's been hurt so badly before that all he can think is, can this last? Sammy's crazy about his new Daddy, but is he more of a hindrance to Adonis?

I really wanted to like this book. I love DDlb books, the plot sounded great, and I liked the premise for a new series. Unfortunately, I couldn’t talk myself into finishing and gave up at 47%. While no significant grammar errors, the writing style just didn’t work for me. The story kind of bumps along in a herky-jerky fashion with jumps in the plot that don’t seem to make all that much sense.
I liked A Little Healing by Zane Fox. I liked Adonis and Sammy. I liked their personal growth and the chemistry between them. I also liked Sammy's two BFFs and can't wait to see who their daddies end up being and what kind of little Striker ends up with.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Not gonna lie. If this wasn't a fairly short book, I might have not finished it. A bit conflicted about the characters. Sammy was all over the place and Adonis was too stiff a person. Not what I'd call a good daddy/boy story. It read like a therapy session. The concept was there. Perhaps the next book in the series will be more my cup of tea.
DNF at 48%. I feel like this one had a lot of fun potential since the blurb really drew me in, but I was a bit disappointed. It wasn’t too exciting, a bit monotone if I’m honest. Also it didn’t seem as if the author really understand the ddlb dynamic and that bothered me.
I usually try and revisit DNFs but I don’t think I will with this one.
I was left a bit off feeling after this. Point one I will make Sammy need help.and I felt he was taken advantage off. Dr daddy needed to have less angst it was to much. He need to report his boss. Hello sexual harassment. Just wasn't good plot.
Overall I found the story to be good. I wasn’t truly connected to it and found it to be a bit of a struggle to read so I had to put it down some before reading more. The flow felt off to me.
This story was really very interesting. The characters were awesome and the story was well written. I hope Kurt and Damon get their own stories. I would recommend this book.
Whilst I understand that people can meet under difficult circumstances I felt that the “daddy” manipulated the start of their relationship far too much which left too much of a sour taste to really enjoy the story
Honestly, it wasn't a bad book, but it annoys me when the author uses British English for a story set in NYC. Also, in my opinion, there really wasn't much of a voice difference for me between Adonis and Sammy. Not a bad story, but it just didn't hit the mark for me.
I liked that fact there was plenty of check in after scenes. and discussion about boundaries. But, and this might be just me, the dynamic felt very "jump before looking and thinking". which took away from the story for me.
One can't concentrate on work, the other doesn't know how to live and enjoy life. They both wonder if they will ever find love. I really enjoyed this book.
