*sigh I’m never getting enough of this.

Super happy with having the audio now too. But also a bit sad to know the author has no plans as of yet to give us another MM story.

Scorching hot MM Vampire romance novella.

Two vampire hunters, one gets turned on their mission to bring a large nest of vamps down and the other cannot let him go (or rather kill him, like it’s his purpose in life) because he’s secretly in love with him.

Tate loomed above me, wearing a tight black Henley and black cargo pants. Stakes were strapped to his thighs in addition to the shoulder holster for his guns.

This quote has not much on the story but I just swooned at the imagery 🔥 #sorrynotsorry


I loved Tate and esp Sebastian (the newly turned vampire) and besides the sex-fest this book has a surprisingly thrilling plot and heartfelt romance. I loved that epilogue so so much and I wished there was more where this came from!

*4.5* This book read like the perfect outline of an extraordinary, full-sized romance between a vampire and a vampire hunter. Except it was 130 page novella!!

There was no extra drama, no yawn-inducing world building, it was hard facts, intense emotions, steamy sex scenes, ending with a wonderful HFN.

My first Beatrix's book and I loved it.
A short one (136 pages), though...
Sebastian and Tate are vampire hunters on a mission that goes sideways...

Tate is in love with Sebastian since they were kids.
To be more precise, he's obsessed.
Sebastian didn't seem to notice that, but nothing is what it seems.

They're working undercover in a college where there's a vampire nest.
Tate takes care of Sebastian, and he's the one that tries to infiltrate in the vampire nest.
Sebastian uses Tate obligation to take care of him, in a sexual way.
Until he's caught by the vampire master.

Tate has a tough decision to make, or not so tough after all, because he will always choose Sebastian above all.
I'm not a big fan of paranormal stories, but once in a while I try a few, and I'm also surprised, in a good way.
It is the case, with this one.

It also has a lot of triggers, but it's so sexy and hot.
Sweet too... In a weird kind of way.
Ohhh... The couple is versatile.
Most of the time, I forget to mention that, and I know a lot of people want to know that.

I think this is one of those times where this story would’ve been a whole lot better if it were a full-length novel. It has all the right elements for a fun & sexy vampire romance, but it’s lacking a bit of spark, some depth to both the storyline and the characters.
I would’ve loved to see Tate pining for Sebastian, to really feel the extent of his obsession. To see more struggle with Sebastian’s new nature.
The pacing was just too fast to really be able to enjoy the story.

A pretty sexy read, with loads of potential, lots of hot biting and some action, but maybe a bit forgettable overall.

Well this was fucking hot. First, we have Tate, an overly possessive vampire hunter who has been stalking his partner and manipulating the system so they can stay on the same cases. We also have Sebastian, Tates’s obsession, who became a vampire hunter for revenge and who gets himself in a bit of a predicament. Any sane vampire hunter would have taken care of Sebastian but Tate just can’t let go. For a novella that is mostly smut, it has a solid storyline and I liked the bond between these men.

What I feel for you isn’t normal, Sebastian. If you ever leave me again, I’ll hunt you down to the ends of this earth and chain you up so you can never leave again. Do you understand me?”

The prose bores me. The angsty beginning only left me feeling detached with the entire story. Tate’s pining over Seb was lacking of emotional resonance so I didn’t feel anything for him. From the start, I couldn’t connect with them at all, there was lacking of how and why they were attracted to each other. As the story progress and hit 70%, their dynamic feels abrupt, as they claim to have had something in the past. Surprisingly, their sexual encounters was repetitive, didn’t reach my expectation level of spice (blowjob, blowjobs, sex, sex) (🥴???) and I was disappointed. The vampire x vampire hunter plot was anticlimactic. I did like the ending though.

Hell doesn’t have enough heat as Tate and Sebastian, because damn!

I was desperate for a good vampire book, were we get to see vampires drink blood and not some soy organic stuff gluten free, so here we get to see some real blood play!

Was afraid that it would be rushed and insta love, but no… the story is very well developed and everything takes its time and runs just right. Off course we don’t get to interact with other characters, but who needs more?

This was such a great time but I sooo wish it was a full-fledged novel; it has so much potential! Even so, there's just enough backstory to get invested in the characters and I loved Seb & Tate - especially Tate's lifelong obsession with Sebastian that eclipses any moral compass he could have. Sebastian is his moral compass. Toxic? Absolutely. We love to see it.

Sidenote: I really like when authors create vampires in modern novels have attributes found in older folklore; having to claw out of a grave, bursting into a colony of bats, being completely nocturnal, etc. - sooo much better than glittering in the sunlight, if you ask me.

Also, sex scenes were hot & I am pro dick-biting. Don't @ me.

I am a sucker for a vampire story and this did not disappoint!

Tate and Sebastian are vampire hunters on a mission to take down a vampire society when things go a little sideways. I absolutely loves these two!! Tate is OBSESSED with Sebastian and when he finally got to be with him it was *chefs kiss* 🤌🏽. The sexual biting was EVERYTHING!! 😮‍💨🥵

What a treat this was! A smutty little vampire novella 🔥🔥

Tate & Sebastian are vampire hunters and partners. Tate has been *obsessed* with Sebastian for years (hiii stalking and manipulation to stay close to the object of his infatuation). As the story starts out - they are hunting a secret society of vampires, things go wrong and Sebastian is turned by the vampires. Tate simply cannot let him go (the possessive vibes in this one were STRONG let me tell you 👌).

“What I feel for you isn’t normal, Sebastian. If you ever leave me again, I’ll hunt you down to the ends of this earth and chain you up so you can never leave again. Do you understand me?”

The sex was scorching hot (and plentiful). The act of letting a vampire feed on you is apparently very arousing but it goes both ways. Sebastian was a bit confused as to why he was suddenly absolutely feral for Tate but he jumps in wholeheartedly 🙏 We have a lot of blood play, biting, aggressiveness, and deliciously unhinged sex 🥵

I will say this starts off as anything but sweet but as the story progresses and these two allow themselves to just fully give in to their feelings for each other it does start to get pretty endearing. And that epilogue?! I want more!!! I want to see all the sappy feelings that came after they accepted their relationship and how it progressed from there.

Overall a fun and sexy little read and I enjoyed every minute of it. And shout out to vampires that have a compulsion for COUNTING ✌💀

This book drops you right into the middle of things. Sebastian and Tate are vampire hunters posing as college students to take down a secret society of vampires. I absolutely loved it! This novella packed a lot of angst and longing for its size!

I love Tate 😍😍😍

And the ending was perfect!

Quenched my thirst😏

This was a good novella, it had a solid storyline that wasn’t revolved solely around sex (I know, I know), and was an easy read.

I loved the “we are just pals lending a helping hand” theme throughout this. It was great 😂 What was also great was the lack of homophobia or fear of coming out or harassment because of their sexuality. It was an ideal world, plus vampires, and it satisfied my queer heart.

I do think the ending (from Sebastian’s turning and on) was trying to wrap itself up quicker, so it wasn’t as smooth as the beginning. Regardless it was a pretty solid novella. It had a plot, steamy scenes, VAMPIRES 😍🩸, a non-toxic relationship, and a HEA. What more is needed?

After that there are some fun scenes. I do love the “we are going to do sex thing for *reasons!* to justify the horniness trope. To “relieve tension before the mission” mhmm, sure Jan.

This was fine, there are probably better erotic vampire stories out there but I got this for free so I’ll call it worth it.

Without planning it, this became the third vampire book and the third new to me author this month. And the second story I put my eyes on due to fanart (you should check it in the author’s ig because it’s fire). With this type of kinky stories you never know if it's going to be too much for you but luckily I enjoyed it from beginning to end.



Starting with the fact that Tate’s been stalking Sebastian for years it was pretty obvious that this was not going to be a conventional love story. It’s not extremely dark IMO but it won’t be from everybody. I wish this is a full book but I’m really pleased with the way the relationship develops in just so few pages. And it was really spicy. Just let me tell you that Tate and Sebastian knew how not to waste any drop of blood.




A little more than one hundred pages fill with smut and kinks. I hope we get to see the MCs in future stories.

I knocked this book out in about an hour and I loved every second of it. The relationship, the storyline, the steam, the writing. All done so well. I.... I genuinely don't have enough good words to say but to buy this. Buy it, reread it, savor it.

This was 90% smut with a smidge of espionage, lore, and pining.

I like the premise but the execution was a touch underwhelming, often repetitive, and I was unfortunately bored while reading.

Seeing unrequited love slowly get reciprocated was lovely though. And I'm always game for bloody sex-fests.

I have been bamboozled. The synopsis looked really good, but I 100% got the wrong idea. You see I thought it was a stalker vampire going after a vampire hunter or vice versa.

I was expeditiously wrong they were both vampire hunters with one of the hunters having an unhealthy obsession with the other, then the other hunter gets turned into a vampire.

Besides that, I think the book kinda sucked. Writing wasn't as bad as what I've seen before, but it was definitely not within my top or mid for that matter. Dialog was all kinds of boring and cringe. Communication between the characters sucked. The villains were cringey too. I read to about 80% done no romance just a bunch of awkwardly placed devils tango scenes😐 and what really threw me for a loop was the fact that vampire sucked blood from the other characters thingy🤨😳 icky if you ask me but ok.

Honestly, something I'd expect from wattpad or something after reading 80% things hit the rocks, and I decided it's not going anywhere and went about my life.

It's not the worst, not the best, peace and love to yall this ain't for me🥱

4.5 STARS | Omg, this was so GOOD! I absolutely loved this DARK M/M VAMPIRE ROMANCE! The relationship between Tate and Sebastian is HEARTWARMING and with a fierce of PROTECTIVENESS! The story follows Tate is a vampire hunter, but the only he cares about is Sebastian. They were both assigned to Visamar Academy, where powerful vampires gorge on blood. When Sebastian turns into a vampire, Tate’s obsession would stop protecting and loving him. The Brotherhood will kill Tate, if Sebastian doesn’t get killed first. A quick DARK M/M novella, that is perfect to read for spooky season! Would recommend!

✧ Este es un romance gótico entre un vampiro y un cazador de vampiros, la historia es cortita y deja con ganas de saber mucho más o de que algunas tramas se dieran su tiempo para desarrollarse, aún así el libro es entretenido y te atrapa desde el principio.

✧ Me encanta cuando en los romances oscuros uno de los protagonistas está tan obsesionado del otro que haría hasta lo imposible por estar siempre juntos y nunca dejarlo ir; también cuando se conocen desde la infancia o cuando es un romance prohibido pero aún así están juntos porque la pasión es más fuerte que el deber. Aquí conocemos a Tate y Sebastian, son cazadores de vampiros pero debido a una misión que sale mal, uno de ellos termina convertido y esto aumenta el deseo de poseer, consumir y devorarse el uno al otro en más de un sentido. El romance y el sexo se desarrollan de manera rápida pero se entiende debido a lo corto que es la historia, aún así, logró convencerme y me gustó mucho.

✧ Hay varias tramas que se veían muy interesantes y que me hubiera gustado que las desarrollaran con más detalle, como la infancia de ambos y la creciente obsesión de Tate por Sebastian, como se infiltraban en la universidad para poder destruir un nido de vampiros, conocer más acerca de la venganza de Seb por lo ocurrido con sus padres, ver poco a poco se ambos se enamorarán, luego ir viendo como es que aprendían a estar juntos siendo una relación de humano-vampiro y luego como es que cazaban a toda la organización de vampiros por la venganza de Sebastian. Una cosa que me gustó mucho es el epílogo, ver como avanzaron los años y Sebastian y Tate realmente se aman y se siguen cuidando tanto❤️.
