Dayton is a dispatcher that has PTSD and anxiety from childhood trauma. This has caused him to be socially awkward and made it hard to connect to others outside of his job. When his dad is placed into a home, he makes the decision to move closer.

Ada is the local librarian and with that comes its own set of awkwardness. She lives an overall boring and normal life. When her new neighbor moves in, she attempts to befriend him.

Overall this book wasn’t bad, the awkwardness between the two main characters was well, awkward. It was hard to connect and fall in love with them. To me they had a few awkward encounters and then bam, they were in love, it was all just a little kooky.

This is a great addition to this amazing series and is Dayton and Ada’s story. Dayton has move to the small town for his ailing dad, while Ada is the shy towns librarian, and they end up as neighbours. Both characters are quirky, and socially awkward, and Dayton has built high walls around his heart, which Ada might or might not be able to break through. This is a well written story which pulls at the heartstrings, and has some cute animals, and is a sweet, humorous, steamy, and entertaining read. I was hooked throughout this addictive page turner, and I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend.

A great story of two socially awkward people who find comfort in each other. Ada is the shy librarian who has lived in Sunnyville for a year. Dayton just moved in next door to Ada, he came to Sunnyville to help take care of his dad, he suffers from PTSD from trauma when he was young. When these two meet it's a bit awkward but they find comfort in each other and it turns to something more. I enjoyed the story.

Was really looking forward to this story, but felt like it was written by a child.

OK so I really liked the story but....... the writing was very amateurish. There's potential tho.

This is another great addition to KB World’s Everyday Heroes. This is my first CJ Allison story. She has written a dialogue filled story of two socially awkward characters and how they find their path with each other.

Ada is the town’s shy librarian looking for something or someone, Dayton has moved to town to be there fir his ailing father but he has no idea what else moving to this small town will bring him.

With the help of some pretty cute animals these two start their own awkward way to find their true happiness.

This is a sweet and steamy romance that will check all the boxes!

Dispatched checks off all the boxes!!
Two quirky, funny ,and slightly awkward People.
Adorable animals.... Cute Kids.... Humor and a healthy dose of Sexytime.
I absolutely loved this book. It just hit all the right spots and feels. CJ Allison did a great job with not only the storyline, but the Characters. The characters have a realness about them that you don't always get in books.
Give this book a read. You will not be disappointed.
