Josephine

In two months, I’m set to marry the cockiest man I’ve ever met, Damian Arison.

At least, that’s what my father thinks.

I’ll play nice with Damian while plotting my escape.

And when Damian least expects it?

I’ll disappear.

Damian

Marriages are business deals.

At least, that’s what I’ve always thought.

Until her.

I’ve always kept women at a distance, but I don’t want to anymore.

I want Josephine as close to me as possible.

And I’ll do anything to make it happen.

This One Is About Taking Chances

A great read. A well put together story about two very independent people. He comes across as an arrogant jerk sure of himself and the effect he knows he has on women. Or in other words he’s a full on alphahole.

She comes across as being angry, at everyone and everything, (herself included), at the same time she’s lonely and kinda bratty. So of course they clash.

Well worth reading. The only negative factor for me was the DD:LG aspect. That’s a hard pass, it always feels like it has a massive ‘ick factor to it. I didn’t drop the rating because of it because that’s a me issue, I just skipped it.

👀

This was absolutely NOT dark at all. Everyone seems to be using the dark romance genera when it’s not even close and where was the BDSM I guess I missed it
