Through The Eyes of Love: Journeying with Pan Book One

Rate this book
Over twenty years have passed since Michael Roads has written the two best-selling books Talking with Nature and Journey Into Nature. This book is about a dual the experience and insights gained within the energetic fields of Nature and humanity – and Michael’s journey through sadness, grief and loss under the guidance of the very person for whom he was grieving.

"Through the Eyes of Love is about seeing life in a very different and new way. I had to learn that looking through the eyes of Pan was the same as looking through the eyes of Love. And this was not an easy lesson! Pan is neither a metaphysical Being, nor is Pan a horned goat/man. Pan is the Spirit of Nature. Pan lives within no known reality framework that applies to life in the way we know it, and yet, wonderfully . . . Pan is my teacher.

Looking at life in energetic terms, Through the Eyes of Love is one of the most exciting adventures I have ever undertaken. I describe my experiences to the best of my ability. It is not easy to describe metaphysical experiences that have little connection with linear time or the beliefs that we apply to life. Or even with our separation-based language." Michael J Roads

Michael shows you a metaphysical view of our lives. This view gives you an entirely new understanding of the energies behind life. It will open up a completely different understanding of why our lives happen the way they do.

I read and reviewed the author´s previous books “Talking with Nature”, "Journey into Nature” and “Journey into Oneness” and was enthralled by them.

In this book Michael has just lost his beloved wife, Treenie, whom he was together with for many years, and is devastated.

Eventually, he is again able to communicate with Pan, the God of Nature, with whom he discoursed in his previous Nature books, and Treenie makes contact with him too. The two often appear together.

Michael lives in Australia and devotes his energies to cultivating his garden.

He enlightens us about the energies of Order and Chaos, which he is able to see. Order is black, and is “the stability of structure”. It keeps things together, but it does not generate growth. Chaos is a red energy and is “the engine that drives”. The two are “in synchronicity, not opposition”. The energies of Chaos and Order are constantly in torsion, swinging back and forth. Balance is the state of greatest potential.

We learn that Treenie had to pass over when she did, since Michael was emotionally dependent on her, and could not evolve further spiritually while she was alive.

With Pan´s help Michael begins to make journeys in his Light-body and passes on his impressions to us, including about the Chaos/Order energies,

Travelling in his Light-body Michael is much more aware, “with a greater ability to engage life on deeper levels”. He explains how he does this, and tells us that it is something we all can do, but requires practice.

With Pan´s guidance, when travelling in his Light-body Michael can look back on his life and see himself having previous experiences with more insight into what actually happened.

He looks back on villages and towns in the past and present in England and notes the difference. Previously the woods and larger forests still had a Devic Being overlighting them and streams of rainbow light energy can be seen coiling and twisting. Zillions of microscopic nature spirits abound, being carried in the rainbow light. Fifty years later there is only a “flat, dissipated energy” throughout the farmland, the energy of the physically shrunken woods and forests are also diminished and the vast Devic Beings seem to have vanished.

But even further on in time, at the end of the twentieth century, the energy has vastly improved. Some areas are worse than ever, others are “hugely” improved. Chaos and Order have come more into Balance. The previous sickly red of Chaos is now a more vibrant red. This is a metaphysical vibration, not apparent to physical eyes.

A few Devic Beings are again overlighting some of the larger, higher-energy woods and forests.

Treenie informs him that she is alive and well in the after-life and lives in the Light. She was always full of Love. She is with other spiritually enlightened souls, “Beings of so much Love and Light that --- Truth prevails”.

Michael wanders in his Light-body to a place where Native American Indians have been herded into a valley and prevented from leaving. They just lie down and die. The energy of the place is the opposite of a power spot – it needs power.

He expands his Light-body out and out and fills the whole valley with the Light of Self. “He becomes and is the Light that fills the valley.” “He becomes and (is) the Love that uplifts, that connects, that reveals Truth.”

He thus changes the energy in the valley, and sees the Light-bodies of many, many Beings passing before him, some smiling and waving and giving a tiny bow in his direction.

Michael recounts many more of his wonderful travels/adventures in his Light-body.

I found this to be an insightful and elegantly penned book. We are blessed with Pan´s understandings and explanations.

The only negative feature of the book, in my view, is a lack of good editing, there being many grammatical mistakes, lacking apostrophes, etc. There is also an unclear part of the book where Michael´s impressions of certain (unnamed) European towns are not distinguished from each other.

But these are minor factors and I highly recommend that you read this spiritually illuminating book, and look forward to reading the author´s further adventures with Pan.

ADDENDUM

For time considerations I had to write this review before completing the book. After doing so, I felt the need to write this addendum:

Michael finally truly releases his emotional attachment to Treenie, enabling him to take The Power of Love into the world.

“Love is the true --- story of life – to experience and express the Power of Love.”

“All humanity is involved in a spiritual marriage – the Union of the One human consciousness.”
