He takes what he wants and makes you apologise for the wait.

She thinks it's working. Ignoring me. As though I don't notice her, as though she isn't my girl.

Hudson King

The star quarterback. Hot Adonis on campus. And the King of Being-A-Selfish-Prick.
He's nothing but a spoilt bully. Hs only enjoyment? Making people miserable. Crushing the weak.
Lucky for me, I always escaped. I blended in the background. Until one night, I finally stood up to him.

Now, he doesn't stop noticing me.

I try to brush him off but something's changed. He looks at me like...no. NO. I won't say it.

So when I run away from his life, two years later, we cross roads again.

This time, he's playing for keeps. He won't let me run and he won't let me deny this fiery attraction between us.

Mabel Woodcock

The stubborn girl in the background. The girl who thinks she goes unnoticed.
Doesn't she realise that I've let her off easy? I let her hide, no matter how much I thought of her, no matter how much I wanted to break her apart and keep her for myself.

But now? Now she wants to play hero?

Oh, sweetheart - you don't know what you've started.

Really cold guy

This one, I didn't expect to be so good. Now I'm mad at the cliffhanger, ugh I'll wait to the next one. I know Hudson will give it to his dad. When parents lives vicariously through their children.
