These plans, however, are quickly dashed when a mysterious challenger appears. Following an unforeseen accident, Step awakes to find that his challenger has taken over the pack. He is offered an opportunity to regain his title by earning back the loyalty of Solum, but there is a catch. Torn between his duties and ambitions, Step is caught up in a maelstrom of competing sides and conflicting stories. One mistake could easily turn fatal and a single slip up could leave Solum’s fate uncertain. In all this chaos, only one thing is nothing is as it seems.
