About the author

Aubree Valentine began her book world career back in 2016 as a virtual assistant for a friend/fellow author and as a book blogger. But, she began writing stories long before that.

After carefully learning the ins and outs of the Indie book business, Aubree finally decided to give publishing a try for herself - with a whole lot of encouragement from the friends and mentors she met along the way.

Her first book, Take Back My Heart, was released in the fall of 2016, with its follow-up - Come Back to Me launching a year later. They were quickly followed by her breakout novel, Hot Cop, part of the Too Hot to Handle Series.

Aubree has a degree in sarcasm and resides in Pennsylvania with her husband, two children and several furbabies. She enjoys reading, chasing after her twins (or trying to keep them out of trouble), cuddling with her husband, and coming up with new project ideas that often involve power tools.

Great quick read

But i felt that it wasn't meant to end like that. It is a very sweet story, and I felt for the characters, but it just didn't feel like enough

Such a cute story. Lane is so sweet and something just draws her to Jackolson and hus sister.

Jackson hasn't had an easy time of things. Losing his parents and becoming a parent to his little sister has definitely been hard.

Lane and Jackson instantly connect and together they find their way with one another and with his sister.

Such a cute read.

Jackson's parents died, leaving him to raise his 4 year old half sister. Fitzy helps him get things handled. Including hiring Lane to nanny for him. That came about a little underhanded, but perfectly fit what Fitzy had done all this series.



I knew the mains were young, but I didn't expect them that young. I guess I didn't pay attention to the age of the mmc in the blurb. I typically don't read books with mains that young. The book also ended abruptly.
Fitzy is the main side character in most of these books, but her job title changes from owner to manager and back.
The poly couple, I'd like to read their book. Their banter was funny.

sweet

This was a sweet but a little sad holiday story. Jackson and Lane were a really sweet couple and Sienna was a doll. My biggest complaint would be the ending. It just felt really abrupt even though it would be considered a happy ending. It felt like it needed to be tied up better. Other than that, it was a nice holiday read.
