Since a child, Elite Benson had been drawn to shiny, expensive, and beautiful things. His wife, Jacintha, was all three at once. In the beginning of their marriage, things were perfect, but with time they both began to change, and Elite soon realized his wife was not the woman he thought she was. Denali Peters was sure her life would never get any better. She had two children with a man who showed her with time just how impure his intentions were. At the top of her priority list was being a great mom, but working two jobs and raising her man along with their kids began to take a toll on Denali. Eventually, she realized the importance of self-care and her own happiness ... but that happiness came with a hefty price. When Elite's marriage crumbles, he decides to right a few wrongs from his past. During his quest for health and happiness, he meets Denali, who appears to be after the same things. With all they have in common, you'd think a relationship between them would be inevitable ... but there are a few people and secrets from their pasts that say otherwise.

I liked the book. The plot was there the drama and all. I just felt like it took to long to get to the point and the ending felt rushed. Overall very good.
“All things will start to become passionate and beautiful again with healing and time.”
The quote above literally sums up this book. In Mister Jeweler we are introduced to two couples. Both relationships were going through tumultuous times and on the brink of breaking up. It was heavy, which I didn’t really expect. But, I definitely appreciated getting to see the, “why” and the complete storyline for both of the main characters.
The beginning had me fuming because Jacinta and Blaze literally played in Elite and Denali’s faces and I didn’t like that! Honestly, they both got what they deserved, lol.
My sweet, Elite.. that’s a, “black king right there”.. he wasn’t innocent- trust me but darn it he loved hard! I felt bad for how he felt like he couldn’t trust women- but he overcame those feelings once he met Denali. 🥺Listen, Denali is my shero- I loved her! She went so hard for her children, she hustled her tail off to make sure her family was straight. I just loved when Elite and Denali crossed paths- they brought such a shining light to each other. It was really beautiful. 🫶🏾
This book took me through it, my emotions were overwhelmed. I felt like there was a high theme of greed, deceit, and revenge- no one really wins when these things are involved. I really appreciated the fact that we had a complete story: there was details on each couples relationships, explanations for the ‘why’, and closure / dealing with past traumas.
“There’s a loving, safe, authentic life and love waiting for you… but you can’t get there without healing your old self from the wounds of your past.”
I enjoyed this book, I really appreciated all of the gems dropped throughout the story- I was highlighting so much. I think this book is a good discussion book, I would love to hear other peoples thoughts on some of the things the characters did. I would have loved to have seen more of Elite in his element- making jewelry because that brought him joy. But, I also understood that with all of the chaos it probably would have been a lot on him. I absolutely loved that both, Elite and Denali, dealt with their pasts and became each other’s safe space. And baby, the plot twists in this one caught me by surprise! I enjoyed this book!
2.5⭐️🌶️🌶️ The writing was all over the place and so fragmented and disjointed that I wanted to DNF it, but I continued to read. The plot twist caught me off guard, and the connection between the MMC and the second FMC felt genuine, but it was very instant love. All I can say is that at least it had a happy ending.
Wow, this is the second book that I have read by this author. I'm beginning to think that OTT is her MO. When Elite and Jacintha went threw their 'ish I thought that it went kind of fast. Only to realize later that it was part of their journey. Denali's journey was a bit calmer; until it wasn't. Glad they found their peace.
Oooo weee, this was a great read! The storyline and plot twists were everything. B. Love did her thing with this one. I wasn’t sure Mister Librarian could be touched, but Elite swiftly moved Kahlil out of the top spot! I can’t wait to read the next book in this series🥰
The male lead did something that I absolutely do not like for men to do, but I was able to get over that kind of. What I could not get over was how much I was hearing about his ex-wife. I liked how present he still was for her children but I did not like that. We did not even have the couple meet until over 50% of the book. I started thinking I read this synopsis wrong and this was the second chance marriage book because that's how much the ex-wife was in it and how much he was thinking about her. Then toward the end of the book after he's with the female lead, he puts the ex-wife's engagement ring back on her finger and kisses it. It. It was too much. It just wasn't for me
Enjoyed the story and this book is sexy as hell. However, some parts really drag with the characters intellectualizing their emotions. I wish there was way more showing than telling.
I thought this was a really good read. The way Blaze was a trifling low down dirty scum bad was no surprise. I hate that Denali ever got caught up with the foolishness man!!! He was no good from the beginning. Jacintha, despite understanding how her family cause her so much trauma and aided in her being lost and unsure of how to handle things, the fact that she stepped out on Elite the way she did was just crazy. I don’t condone how blaze handled the news about the baby and her but she didn’t deserve to be happy with how she was moving. Elite was. Very good man and I love that he finally found someone who could love him properly. Even the kids because Jacintha twins treated him bad but Denali kids didn’t give him that trouble.

I was on edge waiting for everything to unfold with Henry/Blaze. I didn't like him at all. I loved, loved, loved Elite. I didn't like him withholding that information from Jah but she didn't have to do what she did. I'm glad everything turned out the way it did. Can't wait to read the next book.
The Jeweler was another good read. I liked Elite and his whole persona was extra dope. Jacintha did not feel like she was his forever love, even though she was his wife. Elite’s brother Supreme was as his name described. He was always ready to reign supreme for his brother, their relationship was dope. It was clear that Denali would soon get over her babie daddy-Blaze, he was worthless. When his real side was exposed, I knew who he was all along, that part was easy to see. I am happy with the outcome with Jacintha, and Denali they both deserved better, along with Elite. A good read.
B LOVE!!! Girlllll!! I just had to walk away from my desk. Got me at work boo-hoo crying!!! lol
This book showcased how GOD favors you when you put him first 1. 2. How when you decide to heal, how you will attract all the things and people that are truly meant to be in your life.
ELITE ELITE ELITE!!!! Baabbaaay!!! What a man!! oweeeeee!!! I like 'em attentive, patient and kind. With a hint of, I'll fuck 'em up for you bae. ON SIGHT!! LAWDD THE PUDDLE I LAY IN FROM THIS MAN. lol! He got all the beautiful things he deserved and more. So happy for him!
I loved me some Denali. Sis was handling business with or WITHOUT the help of her sorry baby daddy. I loved how loving and kind she was to everyone around her even though things weren't perfect in her world. Sis got so much more and some from being true to herself, her babies and others. She got the man of her dreams, the shop she's always wanted and soo soo much more!!! Love her and Elite together REAL BAD!
HENRY.. he better hope and pray Elite Benson is long gone from Memphis by the time he gets out of jail. He is the type of man that does wrong by his kids, and everyone around him for his own selfish reasons. While he thought he got away with murder and a list of other things like being a dead beat daddy. All that shit caught up to him in the end. (also this plot twist had me SHOOK)
I know people make mistakes. But... Jacintha's punishment, and all the things that happened to her. I hate to say it, but she deserved it. I am however proud of her for doing what was right. Although I absolutely hated her for what she did to Elite. I was also happy to see how despite everything that happened. Elite and Jacintha stayed cordial and he continued to check on the twins and made sure none of them wanted for nothing. Even in divorce and after a lot of betrayal he stayed devoted to his ex wife and her kids.
Supreme and Nicole had the relationship we all want to have. In this book, we do get to see though that if those we label "couple goals" aren't perfect. Super excited to eventually catch up with them and their story, considering they've been a big part of this series also since the beginning.
The family dynamic in this book makes you want to repair any estranged relationships you have. Whether it be family, friends even a past lover. So many broken relationships were repaired, and brought back to life. This was such a realistic read.
I also hope we get an update on where Denali and Elite are soon. With all the amazing things that happened at the end.
I smiled so much throughout this book. You can't TELL me these ain't my cousins in real life. lol These are REAL people! I won't let anyone tell me any different. lol
And I'm always almost to tears every mention of Khalil and Honey. Because that's who this story started with. They are my favorite.
This is black loved represented in the best way. I can not wait to finish the series.
Lastly, Winston James narrated the shit outta this book! I could listen to him talk alllll dammmnnn day!!! My goodness!!!!!!!
OMG I loved this book! What’s better in books? Men!!
This book took me on an emotional roller coaster! And I enjoyed all of it!
4 POVs: Elite Jacintha Denali Blaze
Trigger Warnings: Cheating Domestic violence Murder Mention of abortion
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
If you read the book prior, the prelude, you already know something that’s going to happen. But trust me, it gets better (worse for characters in this book for sure!). Because this was so good, I’m going to buy the physical copy!
When I say I want to switch it up with characters, this is what I mean. When I ask why is it he’s always the problem in books (men usually are, let’s face it) Elite answers with a “she not talking to me” in Chrisean Rock voice 😂! Cause I’m not! If accountability was a person, his name would be Elite Benson, period.
There was a lot going on in this book. It dealt with some real issues and real traumas.
I thought it was interesting that when Elite was being described at the beginning of the book, Jacintha made him sound like he was all about that thug life. I wasn't sure I wanted to continue, but I pushed on.
As the book continued, it showed there were depths to Elite that I don't think Ja was even aware existed. I wasn't feeling her at all. Even with her acknowledging there was an issue that might have stemmed from her, she still proceeded to behave with no self control.
No surprise when things came to a head with Elite. There were a number of surprises after that, and before Denali.
Elite and Denali had a whole different vibe going on. I really liked them together. They both were working through some things, but acknowledged the issues, and were able to communicate them to each other.
With a few twists and turns still to come, Elite and Denali managed to get their HEA. I never did warm up to Ja. I liked Supreme and Nicole. I have no words for Blaze and his behavior.
The flow of this book was better than the first book. I did feel there were moments where the transitions from one scene to another were not that smooth. I wondered if I missed something. I would have to rewind and listen for the transitions again.
The narrators were good in their own way. I liked the female narrator. I just didn't think she fit for this book. The male narrator was fine. I did like this book much more than the first book. I would give this 3.5 stars.
This book is definitely a perfect example of God taking ashes and turning them into something beautiful. Elite was a loyal man with a heart for those he loved. His wife Jacintha , unfortunately did not have a clue as to the valuable Gift she had in Her husband until it was to late. Let’s just say she gave up her 80 for 20, by having an affair leading to a broken marriage and a hurt and broken Elite. Denali a single mother of two children who worked multiple jobs to provide for her family ,seemed to be trapped in a 12 year relationship that was going absolutely nowhere. Blaze the father of her children was a manipulator of the worse kind he brought nothing to the relationship, but hurt and disappointment to Denali and their two kids B.Love, I have to tell you that you wore me out with this one😂😂 . This story has so many layers. I kept wondering how any good could come out of the messes that had been created in the lives of two people who only wanted a partner to love and be loved unconditionally as they achieved life goals together. 😔 I just couldn’t put this book down until I found out how it was going to end. I’m happy to say I was not disappointed. And I really wanted for a little more ☺️❤️❤️. Perhaps in future books in this series I’ll hear if Blaze got EVERYTHING he deserved🤨
This book was so good, five out of five. When I first started reading my heart broke so bad for ELITE but I understood both characters. Jacintha needed something that a lot of woman need; time to just love and learn YOU. Now chillilleee I can't stand no cheater though! This book took me through it but had me smiling at the end lol. I felt like there was a lot of real life issues touched in this book. A lot of beautifully placed gems as well! "There's a loving, safe, authentic life and love waiting for you... but you can't get there without healing your old self from the wounds of your past." This quote had me like wait a minute now am I blocking my person Bag. I enjoyed this book, and I now need the physical copy for my shelf. I don't think Jacintha loved her husband but more or so the life and security he provided. 1 absolutely loved that he gave love another chance. I love that. Denali was really that girl. Her aura was so beautiful that it kept him captured. She was beautiful. Her spirit was beautiful. I loved how they both got their happy ending. Because baby I love love and to see it so beautifully put together was amazing!
After reading the prelude, I knew I wanted to know more about Elite and Jacintha's story. What a wild ride this has been. Just because you have a good man and whatever you want at your disposal doesn't always equate to happiness. Jacintha was a prime example of that. Her actions toward Elite were wrong but I was happy that she finally admitted and came to terms with how she was feeling about herself. Like they say, hurt people hurt people. Elite was also dealing with his own issues as well regarding his childhood. Both needed healing within themselves before they got together. I really like Denali. She may not have been dealt a good hand with her relationship with Henry/Blaze, but when it came to her kids, she was going to do whatever it took to make things happen for them. I loved her independence. I loved the interaction between Elite and Denali. He was the king she deserved who had her back and believed in her vision. They definitely complete each other and what a beautiful ending. This book may take you through a lot of emotions but its worth the read.
At first I didn't like how Denali and Elite didn't get together until a little over halfway in the story but when they got together it was🔥🔥🔥. They were perfect for each other. I'm glad he got to reconnect with his dad but I'm still side eyeing him for allowing his kids to be in the system and not checking for them like he should of when he got his shit together. Normally I can't stand when they show the main characters hunching on other people before they get together but I didn't mind it so much here because it was a part of showing the progression of the demise of Elite's marriage. I don't think I'd of been as forgiving as him on Jacintha calling the cops but it showed what a great man Elite really was and how he worked to be a better man after their divorce. It's been a while since I've been able to give a 5 star especially to B. Love but it was a great story and I also loved how everything connected to each other. It was like seeing a puzzle get put together.
I like this that the author touched on real life issues, circumstances are what can happen when life goes left. Elite and Jacintha appears to have a great relationship in the beginning, but then you find out they're both struggling with issues within themselves, but they aren't talking to each other about how they really feel or trying to seek help. Jacintha goes out and finds another man and proceeds to let him talk her into having an affair and then has to deal with the circumstances when she becomes pregnant. Elite had an unhappy childhood, and has issues dealing with it in his adult life, but he's a good, kindhearted man. He meets Denali after he's divorced. She has her own problems with her children's father but still starts a relationship with Elite. They are able to resolve things and end up having a loving relationship.
So good from start to finish. Our upbringing can affect how we're in relationships. Elite and Jacintha weren't made for each other, they loved one another, but were not in love. They both had issues that they needed to work through, they both played a part in being deceitful, though different! Jacintha was bitter and Elite went above and beyond not to take out his feelings on her after her infidelity! Elite meeting Denali was the best thing that could have ever happened to him, as well as reaching out to see his father. Blaze/Henry wasn't ish! Denali and Elite they compliment one another and the children in the story was so respectful. Now Supreme was his brother's keeper, but he need to get rid of his demons as well, hopefully he will. Loved the ending and can't wait to read the next Mister!
All I can say is wow!! Jacintha stepped out on her marriage to Elite looking for the happiness she thought she would find in someone else. Meeting Henry was supposed to be a quick fling that continued longer than it should and ended up with her being pregnant. In the end she ended up with no husband, no man and no baby.
Henry aka Blaze was the father to Denalis children. He couldn't do right by her and she was always left to figure things out on her own. Later she found out that he was married and gave him the ultimatum of choosing his kids or his marriage and of course he chose is marriage.
Denali and Elite meet by chance both coming from troubled relationships. They were scared to take a chance at love so they took things slow as their relationship grew into something great.
BRAVO 🙌🏾 ‼️ …B. Love thus far you’ve created a literary masterpiece! Admittedly, I initially had reservations about “Mister Jeweler (The Mister Series - Book 3)”. However, oh how grateful I am that I preserved through the chapters, various stories and characters which appeared ambiguous. …patience is virtuous & rewarding. …sorry but not sorry, there are no spoilers in my review 🤷🏾♀️‼️ Meanwhile, Supreme & Elite experienced childhood traumas no child should be required to endured. Nevertheless, in spite of the individual insecurities, I applaud their love, dedication, protection, devotion to each other (honorable mention Nicole) & their physical & emotional health. …Twenty four chapters and about five hours later Mister Jeweler mastered restoration of peace, joy, hope & contentment 🥰‼️
Elite is my second favorite behind Saint. I actually read all of the books that are completed before writing my reviews after I learned they were all friends. And although so far I li,rd all of the guys except one and his book isn’t out yet lol two of them stood out as favorites and Elite is one of them. He had a wife he loved and was faithful to and she did him dirty. That could have given him an excuse to be a dog but he didn’t. He saw Denali and said he’d let fate determine their outcome and boy did fate play a role. Denali had every right to not trust men but there was something about Elite that drew her in. What I loved most about this book was even with the lies betrayal there was healing forgiveness and redemption. This one had me the most emotional.
This was just ok to me. Elite is almost every woman's dream guy for the most part. Jah was a whole mess. Why would she start clapping cheeks with another man she JUST met, unprotected - not even knowing his real name. Other tiny things annoyed me in this story. For example, if the friends boutique was slow on business so much that she had to lay people off, so why then does D decide she still was gonna open a boutique of her own? Maybe bc Elites name was attached, she'd get more business and higher end merchandise? They kept tip toeing around the fact that E and J weren't into the same things and ran with different type crowds. So how/why did they feel compatible enough to even get married in the first place? Or did they just drift apart? Idk. Blaze didn't get nearly enough of what he deserved imo.

Mister Jeweler hooked me from the very beginning. The drama comes fast, but the emotional depth keeps you turning the pages. Elite is the kind of strong, protective man who loves with intention. A provider, a healer, and a man determined not to repeat cycles of hurt. His personal growth throughout this book felt so real and so earned.
Denali was the breath of fresh air he deserved. Sweet, grounded, and the type of woman who brings out the best in you just by being herself. Their connection was steady, safe, and beautifully paced. She made him feel seen, and he made her feel chosen.
This story has messy moments, emotional twists, and characters who feel fully human. If you love a romance with drama, heart, and a well-earned happy ending, you’ll enjoy every page of Mister Jeweler.
another Mister bae 🥰😘 Reviewed in the United States on August 23, 2022 This one was a little different but I liked it!!! The author took time on the front end to really show the intricacies of Jacintha and Elite’s marriage declining. Jacintha just flat out did not need to be married🤦🏽♀️. After the cheat attempt gone terribly wrong, that did not stop her. Meanwhile, Elite is being faithful and really trying!! Then to pull that popo stunt, Elite should have let sis whip her real quick. She ended up where she deserve.
Denali was introduced much later in the story and I loved her. Her baby daddy was 🗑 trash. I am so glad Elite didn’t let his history with Jacintha stop his pursuit of Denali. This story really shows how small the world is!! Go grab this 📕 book. You will not be disappointed
This book was very good. I love that he touched on getting yourself right before getting with someone. Elite and Jac both have internal issues that they really didn't know about until it was to late. Jac was dead wrong for what she did to Elite and to pin something on him he didn't do was the lowest thing she could have done. Elite handled the situation better then some could or would have. Jac parents was doing to much. Blaze was a coward and a deadbeat. How you give up on your children for money and then beat the woman that is carrying your all because of greed. Blaze got what he deserved. I truly am here for the connection that Denali and Elite are building and continue to build. My heart went out to Elite when trying to face his demons concerning his past with his father. I truly LOVE everything about this book. Can't wait to see which friend is next
Ok this as a series is coming along really good to have book two be just as good if not better than the 1st one. I was not sure where the book was going as them Ex’s were very present in the book and it seemed like a different situation was going on. Both Ex’s got what the deserved and the plot twist with them took a damn turn. Elite still looked out for his ex’s twins and that speaks to the man that he is. I loved how you get to see how when your healing an putting God 1st you have his favor getting all things he has in store for you. Then you get 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ too!! Denali gets everything she dreams of in a partner and I’m so happy for her because Blaze was not it. He needs to be under the jail. Only a weak person would be so cruel to a person who is a light to everyone around.
In this well written book, we were introduced to Mr. Jeweler, Elite. His marriage to Jacintha was on the line because she decided that she wasn’t happy. They both had tumultuous childhoods and really didn’t know how to communicate with each other. They both had secrets which was exposed when she cheated. I loved the way that Elite loved her and her kids even when they were no longer together. This man is everyone’s dream. The twist was him ending up with the woman of the man his wife cheated with and they were definitely meant for each other. Absolutely loved this book.
Took me a minute in the beginning, but I kept reading!
So, yeah, that was a lot. I really enjoyed the book, however, it was a lot, a lot to take in. Elite was bomb. Like he was a good man, definitely did not deserve how Jah treated him. She was dead wrong for that. She had me ready to fight her!Glad Blaze met with karma in the end. It was very fitting for that sucker-ass shit he pulled. Denali was a little too nice and didn’t deserve how he did her. Loved the supporting characters, like Supreme with his crazy tail and Nicole. I hope he continue to work on his trust issues.
I was bored as I listened to the audible & with the same narrators from Mister Librarian narrating, IT DIDN'T GET MORE TOLERABLE. Narrator Opal Black sound as if she wasn't used to spewing profane words, whic had alot of it in this book. Don't get me wrong; I don't mind profanity in books, BUT when I listen to an audiobook it's important for the narrator NOT TO BE SHY ABOUT THE WORDS THEY'RE GETTING PAID TO SAY FROM THE DIALOGUE. I don't understand all the four & five star ratings. I couldn't get into ELITE or his ex-wife, Jacintha, which made this story unbearable especially with the audible being over 8 hours.
