Werewolves are on the prowl - or so says the evidence - and it's up to Asha to solve the problem before war spills across the veil.
When the first missing girl turns up dead, DNA evidence points to a brutal werewolf attack, and the people of the Realm begin to turn against werewolves.
As Dusty's parents sue for custody, the young girl demonstrates frightening new magical powers, further complicating an already tense standoff between Directress Copperfield and the neglectful mother and father.
Not everything is as it seems, though, but potential werewolf killers and upset parents are the least of Asha's growing problems as she finds herself trapped in the SubRealm and bears witness to the underbelly of the magical world.
Lots of action in this book of the series. I like the 'side' stories but am dying to know about the main story that is running throughout the series! Where are the missing girls and who is taking them?! probably won't find out until the last book, so I had best keep reading! LOL
What a ride. Asha had one job, to bring home the missing daughters. In the mean time she's been to hell and back, no really. Morgan and Soleil keep throwing jobs at her. On top of the missing daughters, she needs to find a missing Orc brother, missing magical animals, find Gizmo ,avenge Salty and save Dusty. Talk about making a girl feel inadequate.
With everything she already has on her plate, Asha now gets another problem to solve. She is once again side tracked from the missing girls to help solve a missing animal case and to bring a murderer to justice. There is plenty of action and suspense in this book. I don’t know how many times I was worried Asha wouldn’t make it!
Good fun. Very chaotic. The main character is really bad at sticking to her todo list. She's not even started on the case that was her first assignment in book one yet 🤣 I do like how each book has a new side story or character though. There are some flashbacks which are sections from earlier copied and pasted but in italics. Found that a bit odd.

Wow! Just constantly moving with no let up. Ploughing through danger and hoping it works out, although... I enjoy how Asha gains friends and helpers despite her prickly personality.
At what point do you put a book down and stop reading? On this one, you don't. At least, I could not stop reading until it was done. Clearly a fantastic suspenseful, amazing read! Love this series!
Just like the first two books this one kept me on the edge of seat hoping everything would work out there was sadness and some smiles, but it isn’t over yet.
