Mike Parsons and Andy Marx have started a new company, M & M Private Investigators. In Mirror Image , book four of the Mike Parsons Series, the partners have their first crime to investigate.

A young entrepreneur, Paul Taylor, is driven to succeed. He strives to have the best restaurant franchise in the state. Now, he’s looking to go nationwide. With a huge franchising deal ahead, Paul celebrates with a little too much to drink. On the drive home he has a wreck, but because of his condition, decides not to call the police and heads home.

The next morning while checking on the damage of his car, Paul is horrified to find a dead body in his trunk. He goes inside to try to figure out what to do about the discovery. To his dismay, when he returns to the garage the body is gone. Hallucination? Drunken blackout? He’s not sure, but in desperation Paul turns to his father who recommends M & M.

Mike and Andy start the chase and soon find out the truth. Is it what they expected? Was Paul set up? Is he about to lose everything he’s ever wanted? Is he guilty? Or is something more sinister happening?

Mirror Image will take the readers to the depths of deceit, evil, and uncontrolled rage that will leave readers guessing what the next chapter will bring.

Twist in the tail

A good tense story with a totally unexpected twist in the tail.

Mike and Marx set up their new PI business and meet danger to their lives once again with memories of Alison Branch still fresh in their minds.

Sick jealousy drives the baddy to ruin a former school mate who always got the girls and built a better business than his.

Good edge of the seat stuff that keeps the reader engaged to the end.

The story was OK. It is very predictable. Within the first quarter of the book I had it figured out. The writing is very elementary and makes you dread reading on. I did read it all to see if my guess was correct. This is the first book I have read by this author and I probably won't read another. My advice is don't waste your time.
