Il n'a aucun but, aucune destination.

Mild rebellion, mild romance and mild sci fi

Despite my tag i liked it! I find Kelly St Claires writing style easy to read and i gobbled down these 4 books in 2 days. I found it dragged a little in the middle and it took far too long to really heat up but Ms St Clare really focusses in on character development of her MC and her brother. Its good to see growth even if it is a bit fantastical.... but hey its a book and we read to escape right? I just wish it was a little heavier on the action and on the romance, but that's me 😊

4.5 stars

I really liked this series, I took my time with this series on that it took about 2 weeks to finish all four. There were some parts I felt dragged a bit-which is one reason it wasn’t a five star read for me. I recently found this author with the after trilogy (another 4.5 star read) and so far have found her to have some really original ideas.

I read....a lot. This is the best series I’ve read in such a long time. I’d been giving up on finding anything really good on kindle unlimited, but this has set the bar!!!! I can’t wait to read more!

Celle d'Eclat vient ensuite.

I truly enjoyed this series and could not believe I could read all three for free on Amazon as part of the Kindle Unlimited subscription. I love discovering a new author I have not read before and not having to wait for the next book in a series to come out. :)

I had been looking for an adult faery tale after having finished Sarah J. Maas' Court of Thorn and Roses trilogy. I really missed Feyre and Rhyss. But then I was introduced to Lina and Jovan and could not be happier.

This series has no magic and there are no faeries in it. It is just a fantasy world with fantastic characters in it.

I loved that our heroine is a strong woman who should by all accounts be a victim through and through. But despite what life has dealt her, she fights back. Always. Even if it takes her a few minutes to get there, she always does.

I don't want to give away any of the plot points as spoilers but know that this book has everything. An epic tale.

I rated it with four stars instead of five as there was some minor editing that needed to be done. If not for that, I would have given it five stars.

The true mark of a great story is if after finishing the series, I still miss the main characters as well as the minor ones once I am done reading. And I truly do miss them. I wish she would continue this world and write more on it. But I will definitely be checking out Kelly St Clare's other works. The Tainted Accords Box Set: The Complete Series

Fantastic world building! Very unique. These novels go deep. Deep with emotions. Depth of characters. This story is told thru the eyes of Olina who has suffered much at the hands of her abusive mother and uncle. She learns to persevere, however. We should all learn a lesson from her to be as strong as we can and persevere. These books took me by surprise. I never would have thought that this would be so epic. Oh how I’m glad I have this box set! Kelly St. Clare really knows how to knock your socks off with awesomeness. A series well worth your time reading. She writes with feelings so powerful you don’t have to stretch much to make those feelings your own. She is also very creative with the worlds these people live in. And her characters are all so unique you feel as if they are also your own friends or enemies. So much action in these books had my head spinning. A very satisfying end to an awesome series. I laughed; I cried; I rejoiced; I was shocked at times; other times I was relieved at what happened. Lots of action well described. As usual, the world building was awesome. The characters are multidimensional and enjoyable, even those you love to hate. This is by far one of the best series I have read. Once I read book one, I had to get the box set cause I knew I would need to see how it all played out. I was not disappointed. I stayed up til the wee hours of the morning most days until I was done. I can freely recommend this series to all fantasy lovers everywhere.

These books offer a little of everything- dynamic, strong, and believable characters, plus mystery and intrigue (why does her mother make Olina wear a veil?), set in a unique and vividly imagined world. It took me a while to really get into the first book, but I knew it would be worth it since I had read some of Kelly St. Clare's other work. And it was. I really fell in love with Olina (and the worlds of Osolis and Glacium and their people) in the second book. I stayed up late reading the third book, trying to finish the series before my KU membership expired at midnight, and when I couldn't read fast enough for that to work I paid for another month so I could read the last book. By the end of the last book, I had to seek out Kelly St. Clare's author pages in hopes of getting just a bit more of the story. (Score! There's one novella that's been released and two more in the works!) Give it a read :)

Kelly St Clare's books will just blow your mind, I had to binge read her series, i couldn't sleep not knowing what was going to happen next, i was on the edge of my seat so many times, holding my kindle with such intensity because these books are beyond awesome! the story will grip you from the start, drama, lies, betrayal, hurt, fighting, sacrifice, love, acceptance, secrets, outfits(clothing) that will imprint in your memory, strong and kind heroine, worlds separated, hot men, war. What more could you want?
I first read Kelly's other series 'The Retreat' - The After Trilogy and enjoyed it immensely, I knew TA would be good but wasn't prepared to feel so glued to it, its simply like no other. Finishing this series left me with a book hang over... took me a good week before i could read anything else. When you read it you will know what I'm talking about!!

This series will blow you across the worlds in a Soar

This series became an addiction! When I wasn't reading it, I was constantly thinking about how I want to read it. I'm thankful I had the full series in my hands so I didn't have to wait for the next book. By far this is my favorite series all. Personally I think the third book is the best, only because half of it was hardcore fighting, and the other half was romance. This book made me laugh out loud, and at the end I couldn't stop smiling. If anyone watched me while I read this they would think me as crazy. I am sad to have it over with, but I am happy with the way it turned out. I might actullu reread the series (I've never done that before. If you know what's gonna happen what's the point.) I can not express my recommendation enough. This series had mystery, romance, fighting, friendship, grief, and revenge. That's if I didn't name them all.

There are no words

Wow, just wow! It took me a while to get into this book but it was so worth it! I had just come out of another great KSJ book coma, so I think that’s why. I adored the growth of Lina, the surprisingly easy to remember secondary characters, and the hero was beyond worthy of our girl. I related so much to Lina because I’m so many ways, we all could be her. So much growth, compassion, and one hell of a backstory that endeared you to her without her feeling sorry for herself. She didn’t loose herself to our leading man either, they both complemented each other in such a beautiful way. This book was fantasy perfection. I am so sad to say goodbye, but so happy with the ending!

A new all time favourite!!!

This series took me by complete surprise and I was unable to put it down!
From start to finish, I was entranced, entertained, and completely invested in the emotional roller coaster ride they take you on.
I am an avid reader, never without a book in my hand, so is a big deal when I say that Kelly St Clare has now taken a spot in my top 5 authors of all time!
I will be reading every single one of her others books now, as I know they will be just as amazing as these are!!!

Second time round

The first time I started reading the first book in the series, I got only a few chapters in before I got cranky that someone died and I put the book down in protest.

The second time round I started reading thinking this story seems really familiar, I must have already read it before, until I got to the point I put it down... and kept reading because this time I was invested in the the story.

I’m so glad I continued. I enjoyed the series and I look forward to reading all the novellas now!

I had a hard time grasping how the world is made up in this series, but I looked past that and loved the story. I have to say few women authors, that I have come across, can pull off action scenes. Kelly St. Clare did a really good job with the fight scenes. I loved the heroine and the other supporting characters. There were a few times where I thought the story was a little long-winded and was wondering what the point of the excerpt was, but overall I really liked the story.

It took me the entire first book to get into this series and then I couldn't put it down. Great character development by the author and while I still don't 100% understand HOW these two worlds work exactly (the rotations thing confuses me) I am SO impressed by her originality. Great read, and something I look forward to sharing with my fantasy loving friends.

Slow Start but amazing Finish

I loved this series, a little slow pace for my personal liking but it’s all for the rhyme and reason of course. This is a book that has to be followed closely as it’s easy to forget what one word means or between the worlds but if you love fantasy you’ll LOVE this world

Great series!

This book was recommended by a book group I belong to and I'm so glad it was! The story was so intriguing and exciting that I read the entire series in a week! The relationships were sweet, sexy, heartbreaking and horrifying. The characters were so well written that I felt like I knew them all personally. Read these books, you won't be disappointed ❤

Almost a great story

The main character in this story needed to be developed further. I understand that she is young, as been abused, but common sense kicks in somehow. Her actions do not like up with her character. The story is frustrating and I feel like it was a waste of time.

Really engaging fantasy coming of age series

Ending a great series is the best/worst feeling in the world. This novel set has it all. Fast paced, fun, characters that you care about, twists and turns, dramatic action and heartbreaking losses. Highly enjoyed. Looking forward to the novellas so I don’t have to say goodbye for real just yet.

Great

Loved this series. I like her adult novel better since I’m not a young adult, but these books were well written and the world created was excellent. I often struggle to finish series, finding I only get to book 2 or 3 and often lose interest. This series held me until the end.

Great series! The writing is excellent, the characters engaging and fun. Best of all, the story line is unique. Although, yes, it does require some suspension of belief in things like gravity and physics. Didn't care - enjoyed all the books immensely.
