The final book in this series. Short, one session read.
Less historical focus, more a romantic one now. Darra and Samuel’s arranged marriage, to join two warring clans together and lead to peace, hits a few snags. Darra runs away, gets lost, is rescued by Samuel. Formerly enemies, emotions are causing a rethink. Darra’s father visits, reveals his life is coming to an end, and needs an heir to prevent hostilities from returning. Then Darra is kidnapped… can Samuel rescue his new wife, does he want to? Will these former enemies become lovers? Lots of action to tie all the threads together.

This is the fourth book in the Love in the Highlands Series. It was well written and a fast read. The characters were believable and the chemistry and love they had toward each other was just right.
I loved how Samuel jumped into action the minute he realized something was wrong with Darra and didn’t give up on her. I loved how Darra was determined to not only be there for Samuel but how loving and caring she was to her new clan.
I can’t wait to see more of this couple and see how they overcome their next obstacles.

The last part of the Love in the Highlands series is one with a great ending. But not without a setback for a happy ending where Samuel would be nearly killed in his fight to free Darra.
And it looks like we're going to get more from Darra and Samuel when I read the preview of “Deception in The Keep …” where Shannon plays the lead.....

With the arranged marriage of Samuel and Darra to bring two warring clans together.After several misadventures with Darra they come together in love.With a visit of Darra’s father comes change when he announces to Samuel that he is ill and asked it to be kept quiet .
Will these changes bring change to Darra and Sam or the two clans closer.

This was an awesome quick read that I enjoyed from beginning to end. It moves along at a pace which is perfect for the story. The characters are amazing and you will love them and the story does not disappoint and keeps you interested and reading. This is a must read, no doubt about it.

The most exciting part of the story yet! And with plenty of action, romance, emotions and steam. I really enjoyed this installment and it was wrapped up very nicely at the end.
