Rate this book
After the bombing at the Guardian wedding tension within the VC ranks intensifies. Word on the street is that the deaths were a warning to the Warriors. Already on edge and overworked the Warriors and Guardians work together to find those responsible.

Sources have informed the Warriors that the police as well as the government may have some involvement. Ex-cop, Lana Fitzpatrick, finds herself on the frontline in a race to expose an enemy that may succeed in what many have tried before, to bring the invincible VC Warriors down.

The Mate series delves into the kickass world of the Warriors’ mates and how united, they can make a difference—just like their badass Protectors. Follow along to see how these exceptional women’s newfound freedom affect those around them and which Warrior may or may not support their feisty independent mate’s new and exciting path.

Lana😍

I’ve really enjoyed this series of Vampire Warriors and it is one of my favourites considering the characters are amazing and on occasion Steve steals the show with his hilarious antics, which is still the case but I feel this one fell a bit short considering the punctuation errors I picked up throughout…it could’ve really done with some more editing and that is the only reason I scored it 4 stars. I am wondering about the timeline though slightly but that’s only because it was a while since I read Charger but that’s probably more a me issue and not remembering the exact sequence of events😬

I loved Lana and I enjoyed meeting with her old team and Susan…and I’m hoping there’s a story for her and Ryker? I even enjoyed Sid’s “development” and I put that comment with tongue in cheek 😂 I’m looking forward to more Warriors in the future but I sincerely hope an extra round of edits precedes this release as it definitely detracts from the enjoyment of the story😢

One of the best books of the year! So many feels! I was laughing and crying all at the same time reading this book. So much going on. As I was reading I felt like I was right there inside this book as the events were happening. Great World building also. Meeting new characters, getting to visit with favorites. Steve does not disappoint. Oh my Goodness he cracks me up. Love Lana and her caustic tongue. Sid is becoming one of my favorite warriors. Please do yourself a favor and get this book. ***Warning Snorting and Crying are a possible effect from reading this book!*** It is fantastic! From a Forever Fan... Pam James

sensational addition to the Mate series

Absolutely loved Lana.
Packed full of everything I crave from Teresa.
Lana wants to be back in on some real action instead of doing pen pushing jobs for Sloan. Real action meaning back where she feels she belongs in the Police force. Teaming up with her old partner Lana comes up with a plan but is it do-able?
Said plan comes at a price Sid is not willing to pay. Lana has a real battle on her hands.
Things take a turn in a different direction and the Mates and the VC have to pull together if they are to stay ahead of the game.
I highly recommend this amazing book but do recommend reading in correct order including the Protectors series.
Can’t wait for more.

Love this series

This series is awesome and so are the characters. Lana was a fearless cop who worked well with her partner and their team. She gave all of that up when she married one of the VC Warriors, Sid. Now she's reunited with her partner Susan only to learn she and the rest of the team were fired soon after Lana. Someone high up wants the Warriors eliminated and when Susan started investigating she was getting too close. Then the attack on the Guardians happened and Raven lost her best friend. Suddenly the Mayor wants Lana and Susan to go undercover but they sense something is off. They team up with Raven and vow to find who is responsible. Can't wait for the next book.

Wow, this book has it all. You get to read about old friends and there are new. Lana and Sid are such a hot couple and their smexy times are so hot. There’s laughs, there’s tears, there’s tenderness, and there’s love. Being a VC Warrior it’s hard to see your mate be put in danger, but Sid comes to grips with it like the man he is.. He’s there for Lana and loves her and finds it in himself to support her. I loved every minute of this read. I’m craving Raven’s book so bad now.. I need it.. Wtg Teresa this was an amazing book!!!

Well let me start by saying that Teresa Gableman is one of my favorite authors. The Protecter series is a favorite of mine. I have even reread some of the books waiting for the next one to come out. I was excited when this book was released. I was laughing one minute and crying the next. It was good until the ending, I was so disappointed when it abruptly ended. I thought what happened, it left you with unanswered questions. The ending was not the typical Teresa ending, so now it’s a wait and see. I would have rated it a 5 star if it wasn’t for the ending.

Loved Lana, we waited a very long time for it, but it was worth the wait!!! I really like Sid’s honestly and his ability to be vulnerable but strong at the same time, he really loves Lana and how he is so willing to put his fears aside for her to be happy. I also loved the ending, can’t wait for the next book!!!

I can't even explain how amazing this book is!
Lana's book gives you all the feels, I laughed so hard I hurt myself, I cried like a baby, I yelled at my kindle and hurt my hands by gripping it so hard and I fell in love with these characters all over again.
Teresa has a way of pulling you into the story in a way that not only makes you never want to leave but at the same time makes you beg for the next book.

Lana and Sid's releationship has always been hot and heavy but Teresa upped the heat bewteen them in this book. So make sure you read this in front of a fan or an open window. ;)
There was never a dull moment and you couldn't wait to finish it to see how it ended but at the same time you never wanted it to end!
I love the new characters and the, fingers crossed, new couple.
If I could give this book more then 5 stars then I would.

**********Contains Spoilers**********

I rated this book 4.5 Stars so I rounded it up to 5 Stars. I really enjoyed this book but wish it had been slightly longer, as it ended rather abruptly and I have a few unanswered questions. I thought this was a great addition to the Mate Series, and the Protectors Universe. Lana is bored out of her mind after getting fired from the police force, and doing odd safe jobs for the VC Warriors. She’s wanting to see if she can go back to the force so she contacts her old partner Susan who she hasn’t seen in awhile. Susan is initially angry at Lana for ditching her since she now has her new life. Lana finds out the reason why Susan is so angry when she sees the spirit of Susan’s father trying to come through, using her gift of being able to talk and see ghosts. Lana apologises and they get back to being friends, Lana finds out that their old team were all fired not long after Lana, and Susan isn’t too sure but she thinks that it has something to do with people who don’t mind the VC Warriors. Susan also tells Lana that she has something to talk to her about but its too risky talking about it at the cafe, so she gets Susan to come to the VC Warriors compound. Lana text Sloan to round up the VC Warriors to listen to what Susan has to say.

Susan tells them that her and Lana’s old team have been investigating the b*mbing at the Guardian wedding even after they were canned from the force, her source told her that someone is wanting to destroy the Guardians along with VC Warriors, she wont reveal her source but she trusts them. I enjoyed the moments between Ryker and Susan, and fingers crossed that they eventually get a book. I’m glad that even when Sid completely loses his sh*t that Lana is putting herself in danger, he stews on it for a bit, but he respects her too much to hold her back from doing something she needs to do, even if he’s utterly afraid that she’s going to get hurt. He just wants her to be happy, that’s definitely true love right there. Steve was in fine form. I smiled and laughed throughout due to him. I’m also hoping that Raven will eventually get her own story, since her and Charger’s relationship is left at a wait and see, and to find out why the Guardians, especially Raven were targeted. I enjoyed seeing the budding friendship between Raven, Lana and Susan. The bad guys don’t stand a chance with those three teaming up, with the VC Warriors and Guardians backing them. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.

Lana by Teresa Gabelman

I was given this book by the author for an honest review.

Man of course I start my reviews for Teresa this way but if you are not a fan of the series and you like Paranormal, you need to be!! This book I admit/I was looking forward too. The love dynamics between Sid and Lana are amazing These two are two peas in a pod when it comes to protecting those they love and protect.
So this book we get to meet Lana’s old team again and learn a lot more about what she would do and had done to protect the citizens on the town. She is one bad ass chick. Sid, of course being the alpha male, was having a hard time accepting his wife is a bad ass. He forgot the love he had for her when the first started working together as VC. I admit, Lana has become a quiet side character in the series, but she is BACK. The feisty detective is going to make people pay for what they are learning about as far as the explosion and threats to the Warriors. This book made me laugh so much because hello Sid but the scene with Sid and Steve…BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA,,when you read you will know what I mean.
Can I say the new love interest blooming was making my heart feel all squishy!! But the hot mess between Charger and Raven….Man my heart was on the floor and people stomped on it. Gah, these two need to figure shit out QUICK!! But the mystery man and why Raven freaked out has me so excited for the next book!! I. Cannot. Wait!!

Another great book in a series of great books!💖

This is hands down one of my favorite series. Teresa Gabelman is a artist with her writing. She can make her characters come alive. Make them so real that you feel like you are apart of their lives. There's enough action that you stay interested, it's a fast paced plot but it's mixed perfectly with romance and comedy. You will laugh one moment, turn the page get angry with what they are having to deal with and then the sex scenes are so hot you fear that your Kindle is melt. If you like paranormal romance, this is a series that you don't want to miss out on. Thank You Mrs. Gabelman for giving me a great escape to visit. I really hope that you continue this series. I have every single book in a place of honor in my Kindle library. Escaping this world to go to the Warriors World is, even for a few hours, A absolute delight.💚💖

Beyond Incredible!!!

Teresa Gabelman has done it again! This book was more than I ever could have imagined. I loved every millisecond of reading Lana's book! There was so much action, laughter and love contained within. I felt the emotions the characters felt. I was on the edge of my seat and there were a few late night's because I couldn't put it down. I wholeheartedly didn't want to finish it because I knew I'd have to wait months for the next in the series. But I cannot wait for the journey to continue.
It astounds me the level of talent Teresa has and pours into her books. I am forever grateful that she chose to write Damon (which was the first book in the series). Without him, there wouldn't be this magnificent world we get to be a part of every day.

Amazing !

I absolutely loved this book. I devoured it and now I wished I had of taken my time to read it because I didn't want it to end.

I really enjoyed reading the protectors series. Each book just gets better and better.
Lana and Sid are a match made in vampire heaven I love how she can talk to ghosts and how protective Sid is of Lana .
As usual Steve brings all the awesomeness and this series wouldn't be what it is with out him .

I hope that Ryker and Susan get a book there is some definite chemistry between those two.
I can't wait for the next book in this awesome series.

Off the force and at loose ends, Lana gets in touch with her old partner Susan and learns everyone that was pro VC Warrior/Vampire has been fired and blacklisted. The women are kidnapped, promptly followed by the warriors, before too many fists fly the learn the wedding was the beginning of a plan to eliminate all the vampires and guardians.

While, Ryker is going through his own emotional slam since he laid eyes on Susan and he takes every opportunity to flex for her viewing pleasure. Lana and Susan are ‘recruited’ to go undercover in Cincinnati. Susan is anxious to root out the corruption and do her part to save the vampires but…

Wonderful addition to the series. Lana, mate of Sid, isn't happy working with the Warriors. She missed the action of being on the street. After meeting with her ex-partner she knows she can't go back.

That doesn't stop her using her talents on the streets as she tries to discover those behind the bombing at the Guardian Wedding. Her actions bring so much to the story. Things are getting really complicated and she ends up in the thick of it.

Lots of great hints to later stories. I am so excited.

Wow

It's getting really intense even more so than in previous books, I am loving the added character of Susan, she is so down to earth and kickass all at the same time, I love the relationship between Lana and Sid and the growing relationship between Lana, Susan and Raven, Raven really needs someone, she seems so alone, even in a room full of people, the author has built an amazing world that just keeps going from strength to strength, really would enjoy this as a shoe, I would binge the crap out of it.

A New approach

The mate's series is great, we get an indepth view from their perspective. Lana is fierce in her own way but since she's human, Sid is a little overprotective. Lana needs to do more though and when the opportunity comes to use her specific skills, she doesn't hesitate. Things are heating up and a new challenge is up ahead & it seems Lana's team will be in the thick of it.
