The heart of a man is through his bite. When prim and proper Priya Pant started work at the Odd Duck, she expected a professional kitchen, given the man that hired her. But what she got from Braden Boss was just plain fowl!
Hurting for money and longing for a chance to redeem herself from a former billionaire life, she tries to ignore Boss's bad-boy behavior, but the more she tries to maintain her measured distance from the man, the more he wants to stir the pot.
Braden Boss has always gotten what he wanted and has done what pleases him. Vampires with money and status possess that kind of privilege.
The problem was that no matter what he wanted out of life—whether it was fortune, fame, or devotion from all his television groupies—he wasn't happy.
After living four centuries, any vampire expects to run into a slump of boredom. But Braden was looking for the one ingredient he never seemed to find in any other method of pleasure. He wanted love. Or at least, Priya, the sous-chef he hired for her perky breasts, proved he should toss out his old recipes and whip up love from scratch.

Argumento:
Estaba leyendo y no encontré nada emocionante.

During the employment interview, Braden Boss never raised his eyes from Priya Pant’s triple D’s. She finally has to tell him her eyes are further north. She is hired as his sous-chef and loves inventing the daily specials and cooking with Braden. Their friendship turns romantic and they have sex. But he has a terrible secret that he hasn’t told her and to keep her safe, he acts like a dick and she leaves. He fell in love with her and has to tell her the truth. How will she react?
He calls her into his office and tells her he’s a vampire. She thinks of all the vampire movies she’s seen. How can he shave if he can’t see his reflection? He can see his reflection. That’s just Hollywood stuff. He tells her he’s a pureblood and doesn’t kill humans but he does have to hunt small animals. They agree to continue their relationship.
This is a cute story with lots of funny parts that you will laugh along with. Totally enjoyable book!

Not only this , but he has his own show on the cooking channel. Brayden has everything money, fame and looks. The only thing he has never found is true love. When he hires Priya he is super attracted to her. He tries to fight the attraction. But it seems fate has plans for these two! You will love this super exciting, funny, and scorching hot vampire romance story and series. This is a five plus story and series.
This was not a bad read. It’s very short and jumps forward in time a lot. It could have been fleshed out a little and there are grammatical errors. But that being said, it was an enjoyable, quick read. There was a good story line and I like the characters. I liked the chemistry between Priya and Braden. Such a cute ending. If you’re looking for a light hearted romance to break up bigger reads, then this is perfect. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series.
Thank you to Amanda Kimberley for this advance copy.
"Midnight & Mistletoe" was a sweet story about a top chef, Braden and his new sous chef Priya Pant. There were immediate mutual sparks, even though Priya didn't care for Braden's disrespectful behavior and bad temper. Of course, Braden is a vampire and that gets added to the mix!
Both Braden and Priya change for the better because of their relationship and they have their happily ever after. They were such interesting characters that I really wanted more of their story.

This book was probably the weirdest book I’ve read in a while but it was fine. It was very short and VERY to the point. I was laughing a lot at the vampire parts because it was so out of place. There was some grammatical errors and the misspelling of the MMC name. It’s a novella so you’re there for a good time, not a long time. It was a good filler book, like taking a break from reading so you read this novella to take your mind of off things.

This is a quick read and the beginning of a series.
Priya is starting her career over as a sous chef at the Odd Duck. She had a failed relationship that set her back.
Braden is the owner of the Odd Duck and also has his own food show on TV. He has a quick temper and is a vampire.
Despite his behavior, Priya finds herself attracted to her new boss. To her delight, he feels the same. Will she still find him attractive once she learns his secret?
Midnight & Mistletoe is a spicy paranormal romance. I normally love this genre, but this particular book was not my cup of tea. I didn’t feel any chemistry between Braden and Priya, which was the gist of the story. I didn’t feel there was enough backstory to understand or empathize with the characters. Th idea of a good girl turning around a bad boy is there, but we don’t know enough about what Braden’s done in the past to see any change. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
This was a wonderful, book that I highly enjoyed reading. It had a great storyline, and the plot pulled me in from the beginning. The characters were well written with a wonderful chemistry together, and I enjoyed watching them grow.

I enjoyed the over all story, and the characters were nice. I think they needed to be fleshed out more, and that something was missing. Like at times, it almost seemed like parts of the book were not there. It might just be the way this author writes. I do not like giving lower star reviews, but I just could not give this anything over 3 stars.

As a reader who is not always a fan of novellas I found this one to be entertaining. The author did really good job and put in a lot of information in a small package. By the time I finished this book I felt that it was complete usually my mind says I need more or they did explain something away and that is not the case with this book.
The quirky namess the author has given her lead characters Priya Pant and Braden Boss actually work real well with this story.
If you like your female lead to have a little southern belle charm and your male lead to have a vampire nature this book is for you.

This was my first book by this author and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Personally I found the pacing a bit odd, reading the same events from different points of view, and the addition of Mr. Boss being a vampire felt a bit irrelevant/like an afterthought. But the interaction between the characters was interesting and it was a quick read.

A great quick read, when two opposites start to work together things get interesting, Priya is a southern belle, proper and trying her hardest to recover from the ultimate betrayal, Braden is gorgeous, talented and foul mouthed and a vampire, can they work together to create magic in the kitchen?? Great characters, fun quick read, full of twists.

I found it an entertaining romance. It was choppy. I felt like parts of the story were missing. Braden and Priya could have had a full novel. Adventures in the restaurant seeing their relationship grow would have made this even better. The writing was humorous and kept me reading. Thee characters were okay. I just wish we could have had more. Thank you for allowing me to read and review this story. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This is a well written holiday romance with strong characters and a fast paced story. The author brings it to life with her perfectly painted scenes and delivers a terrific read. Loved and recommend this book.

Priya had been badly hurt - and needed the job she now had. When she meets Braden, she has no idea of how her life is going to change. Braden has been burnt by love - and he has a huge secret. Will he tell Priya the truth? A really sweet read! Loved it!.

Loved the story and the characters. This is a steamy quick romance. It is light on the paranormal, Braden is a vampire but besides the do you believe in vampires talk there really isn't to much paranormal talk. A little repetitive at times but overall a great read.
