Federation Commander: First Missions
TEST DRIVE A STARSHIP
This is the free demonstration version of the Federation Commander game system, a tactical space combat game based on Star Trek. (Yes, we have a legal contract with Paramount to do this.) This simplified demo includes the basic rules (some of them simplified or abstracted) and two sample ships.
You will need this PDF, a couple of six-sided dice, a hex map (use any game and ignore the trerrain), and a few counters (borrowed from any game), but you can be fighting the dastardly Klingons (or the arrogant Federation) within a few minutes. (A printable map and counters are included if you want to print them.)
