These were the three concepts the gods envisioned when they created the races of the realm of Heredom.
Crafted from the breath of the gods, sprung forth from their visions of perfection, Heredom is a land encompassing all ranges of weather, terrain and varying ecosystems. The inhabitants of Heredom are as varied as the lands which they inhabit.
The Elves, the very pinnacle of grace, sophistication and magical power, wander the forest lands of Levendom. Blessed with great wisdom, a love of natural architecture and a knack for floral arrangement, their kingdom arises with ease and embellishment. The goddess Illia grants them many blessings, nurturing her children as she does the very fruit which grows from the trees.
The Humans, the most pliable of the races, toil upon the harsh, unforgiving lands of Heredom for sustenance, planting their kingdom around scarce water sources and fertile soil. Building their homes from heavy rock and stone, they name their Stonewall. The god Rodan grants them little aid, believing he has already bestowed them with a their own survivability.
The Dwarven, the masterminds of machinery, metalwork and mitigation seek refuge underground, away from the harsh rays of the blinding sun and the intolerable heat of desert lands. They craft tools out of stone and gems they find in caverns, digging further into the earth until respite is found in the cold, dampness of darkness. Deciding upon a name for their underground kingdom, they call it Dlaven. The god Dovah often smiles down upon his creations, granting them extensive knowledge in weaponry, pedology and the mysteries of the earth. This is the story of Levendom.A tale of friendship, love and loss.A harrowing reminder of the fragility of life.An example of the power of the unshakeable faith of the few brave enough to never give up.-A noble Elf Princess, Averessa, whose charm matches that of her great beauty.-A sister-guardian, Valeera, who will stop at nothing to save her friend.-A human Prince, Son Bordack, who seeks knowledge to help his people.-A human squire, Clay, who yearns for redemption of past sins.and many more love-able characters!!!A word from the was inspired by the imaginings of fictional characters, Stonerock and Bordack, created many years ago by my husband and his father. The story was built around those names and could not have been written without their creation. Thank you both for being so fun and creative! Thank you, my dear love, for inspiring me every step of the way.And thank you, Dear Readers, for entering the world of Heredom.
When I read I like to go to different lands with different creatures and a variety of personalities. Levendom gave me all of these. Can’t wait for the next book.
