So, here's the deal.

I got locked up for a crime I totally committed. Yup. Your girl stabbed a ho...or four. Stabbed, maimed, ate, slaughtered. You get the picture.

Not what you expected to hear from me, huh?

But everything changes when I'm broken out of Prodigium Academy by the exact man I've been trying to hide from: Lucifer. Aka, my sperm donor. Aka, the man who tried to kill me as a baby. Fun times, right?

With a few simple words, everything changes. I no longer know who I can trust or who will simply stab me in the back the second I turn away. The only people I know I can rely on are my mates. Vin Van Helsing, a fierce vampire hunter. Frankie, one of Frankenstein's experiments. Mason, Medusa's cocky and arrogant son. Jack and Hux, two souls trapped in the same body. Cal, the sexy and self-centered cupid. And even Barret, the sweet, loveable boogeyman.

And maybe, just maybe, Dimitri Gray, the headmaster of Prodigium Academy and a feared assassin who definitely knows how to use that sword of his. Wink. Wink. Nudge. Nudge.

Add in to the mix a snarly necromancer, a sadistic Irish asshole hijacking my mate's body, and a bloody custody battle, I'm in way over my head.

One thing remains clear.

A war is on the horizon, and I can either run and hide...or I can stick my fangs in the necks of my enemies.

What's a girl-slash-demon-slash-goddess-slash-not-a-vampire to do?

Fangs is book four of a five book horror comedy series where the FMC won't have to choose between love interests at the end. This book contains strong language, sexual situations, and graphic violence. Our main female, Violet, is crude, crass, and always willing to speak her mind...even if you don't want her to. And our monsters? They're dangerous, psychotic, loveable, sweet, and everything in between. Why write one man when you can write five...or seven...or ten...or more?

⭐️Brief Summery:
This one was 3.5 stars for me
Book 4 of a 5 book series and things are getting crazy y’all!
If you’ve read this far then you don’t need the summery so let jump right into the review and some spoilers!

🧛‍♀️ Heroin:
Violet Dracula-Dracula’s clumsy, eccentric daughter. She is revealed to be the mate of Frankie, Mason, Vin, Hux, and Jack.

🦹🏻‍♂️ Hero: OUR HAREM

☠️Vin-a Van Helsing, sworn to protect humanity from monsters (particularly
vampires) at all costs. He’s originally rude and an asshole to Violet before he repents. His twin sister is Vanessa. He’s one of Violet’s mates.

🐍Mason-the son of Medusa and a Fairy Blossom addict. He becomes Violet’s first friend at the academy. He’s one of Violet’s mates. He has a slight drug problem and is high a lot as a coping mechanism.

🧠Frankie-a cold man who is only passionate about his work… until he meets Violet. He is one of Frankenstein’s experiments and also one of Violet’s mates.

👬🏻Hux-the alter-ego of Jack. He’s slightly psychotic and already desperately in love with Violet.

👬🏻Jack-the kinder alter-ego of Hux. He is more level-headed than his brother and refuses to use swear words or resort to violence.

👀 Dimitri Gray-once a professor but now the headmaster of Prodigium Academy. He’s a stone-cold assassin who has been looking after Violet since she first arrived at the academy. He knows the truth about her lineage.

🧚🏻‍♀️Cal-otherwise known as Cupid. He’s half-fairy and half-incubus. After helping supernaturals find their fated mates, the monster council forced him into detention, where he developed a relationship with Barret.

🧌Barret-otherwise known as the Boogeyman. He’s forced to remain in the upper levels of the school for a crime he committed. He’s currently in a relationship with Cal and is close friends with Violet.

☠️Alex-a transfer to the school and a necromancer. He hates vampires with a passion and seeks to make Violet’s life a living hell. However, he sacrifices himself to save her life in book three. When we last saw him, he was broken and bleeding but still alive.

😈Balor-a Formorian who has taken up residence in Hux and Jack’s head. Violet can’t figure out his intentions, but it’s hinted that he’s trying to free his people from their prison in Hell.

🌟 Overall Opinion:
-We start off with Violet in Detention for the brutal murders of the monster that kidnapped and tortured her…. Umm stupid! She was defending herself! This makes no sense.
-On top of that she is sentenced to be put to death… AGAIN I say what!? Defense!

-She is rescued by a monster that works for Lucifer her real daddy and brought to hell. She’s basically captive but not really.. cause once again this girl jumps to conclusions and doesn’t stop to ask questions OR talk!

-She finds Alex there working with Lucifer. He watched her at the academy cause he was paid to. Again… anyone who says he saved her for any reason then he had to is speaking to deaf ears.

-The longer this series goes the less time she is with her mates.
It seems some of her mates fall by the way side so new one can come in that we don’t need.

-Balor and his Story is annoying! But she finally gets to speak to him not that she gets any info cause her brain is the size of a pea.

-She FINALLY gets to see Jack and Hux for the first time since book2! They have really hot sexy times🔥💯💕 … Alex walks in and watches.

-The Harem is trying to break her out and then find out she is in Hell and go there to rescue her.💗

-😤Vent….It’s if I have to listen to how more of her potential mates talk about how much they hate her - for no reason other than she’s a vampire- but can’t stay away. OR another man confused about his feelings l might explode! We are In Book 4! Dimitri is still hot and cold, Alex hates her, Balor hates her, Barret is chicken shit. I’m soooo over the same song and dance with these guys!

-The group goes back to their secret pad and take Lucifer, Alex and Balor prisoner… of course no one actually talks to them to get answers.

-Dimitri mirror walks Violet to go see Dracula in the hospital where they are attacked and Dimitri is kidnapped.

-Dracula and Violet escape but not before they find Vin sister as a part of the people who attacked them and is obviously being controlled by and outside force.

-Alex shows up AGAIN…. To rescue Dracula and Violet. He escaped and explains how.

-Vin and Mason show up where Violet, Alex and Dracula are and they have a hot double pen sexy time with Violet while Alex watched 🔥🔥 ok damn this was HOT!

-Dimitri is tortured and beaten for info on Violets powers

—Barret and Violet officially mated and they have a talk w Cal about MM lines. There aren’t any.

-This all leads us to the end with major revelations and serious heartbreak. I didnt like the way the author was leading us for the next book. Seems like more frustration.

✨Vent- How on earth will the last of these relationships develop when Dimitri has been here since book 1 and we still have no resolution with him.
Alex and Balor HATE violet and I’m not gonna be satisfied with a quick sudden change in feelings in the last book. Alex has had since book 2 to come around and still hasn’t! It’s brutally painfully slow seeing these relationships not develop. I’m over it to the point of not even wanting to read the last book.

💭 POV:
-First person multiple POV.
-This time violets POV was less quirky and more incessant chatter, GAH! We also had more of her POV and less from others.
-We finally get a POV from Alex but it’s as I thought… he hates her but has body betrayal syndrome. He basically hates her for reasons out of her control…. Not selling me on this douche!

🔥 Burn Rate:
Fast fast fast for some…
DRAGGING for other harems members!
I am SO FREAKING tired of Dimitri getting drug out!

😡/😍 Emotion Level:
I’ll be honest I’m getting frustrated with lots of the stuff in this series now. But super sad 😢 horrid and frustrating ending!

❤️‍🔥 Sexy Times:
Hot as always and the one thing that harem is always focused on… sexy times

💥 Descriptive sex:
Yes yes and yes get ready for some threesomes

🌓 Push/Pull:
TONS…
-Dimitri still is hot and cold! STILL🤬
-ALEX is just COLD but he definitely does run hot when it comes to watching her have sex w her men.
-Balor is a hateful dick

☠️ OW Drama:
NONE!

🤮 OW or OM Sex/Fluids exchange/DNA:
Only Harem DNA here

MM I can handle a little MM were it’s all about the FMC and the no serious MM action in the harem. No BJ and pen.
😠Cal and Barret have feelings for each other and are in a long 200 yr relationship.
So they continue to have their own sexual relationship outside of Violet -BJ almost Pen- and I absolutely HATE this. Even after Cal is already mated to Violet but Barret isn’t yet and no convos have been had.

🤬 Cheating:
NONE

😅 OM drama:
NONE

👰🏼‍♀️ Virgin:
NONE most are some for of manwhore or sexual confidant.

😑 Separation: YES!
I hate 😤when the FMC is constantly separated from her mates at 40% in Violet had been with her mates for 1 chapter! ONE!
So in book 3 the harem wasn’t together much cause they all had stuff going on.
Hux and Jack weren’t around Violet AT ALL!……and now at 50% in Balor still has control! Ugh talk about getting annoying. All that’s going on leaves Violet and her harem separated & I’m just not I’m enjoying the same dynamic anymore.

🗡️ Triggers:
Just a little blood an gore …some vagina chomping… and a little torture

⚠️ Safety:
MM
No OWD at all
Violence
Overall Safe

💕 Epilogue:
Not yet major Cliffhanger

❤️ HEA:
Not yet

🤔 Closing Summery:
-Ugh as you can tell I’m getting frustrated with this series now. Things in the relationships needed to move faster for a proper romance.
-There is just too many harem members and unfortunately it’s NOT done right.
-Violet needs to stop plucking her tits and thinking about sex when serious info needs discussing. I love her but there is also a time and place.
-I’m not a fan on the deity direction this has taken. I love the monsters world and story but it veering off track from where it started at.

Y’all, what the HELL was that ending. Plot twist after plot twist after plot twist.

First, how and who got her out of detention. A nice spicy time with a voyeur. Then, the chaos at the hospital. Then, something happens with Dimitri, like why can’t he and Violet get their happy ending already. Then, a POV chapter from a certain someone. Another spicy time with a voyeur. A certain reunion. A sweet moment with Violet and one of her men. Then, the big plot twists start happening 🫣🫣. Like why??? And then, the person who did it??? And then, we just kept learning more and more and more and more. This is definitely one of the worst cliffhangers in this series. I am so glad the next and final book comes out next week. Like I need answers and happy endings. At least the spicy scenes were spicing. Sheesh. And oh my goodness, I almost forgot, someone has a Jacob's ladder!!!!!!!!!

Favorite quotes/scenes:

“Got something to say, butt muncher?” (Violet)
“Butt muncher?” (Alex)
“Cum stain dipshit.” (Violet)
“Are you… insulting me?” (Alex)
Am I insulting you?”
“You called me a butt muncher. And then you randomly blurted out cum stain dipshit.” (Alex)
“Did I? Or did you call yourself a butt muncher and a cum stain dipshit?” (Violet)

“If the three of us didn’t share a body, I would rip off Balor’s toes one by one and then shove them up his asshole. And then I would grab each one of his ass cheeks like they’re pages in a book and rip until his rectum is revealed to the room at large. And then I would take the two halves of his ass and slap him silly, one cheek after the other, and say, ‘Why do you keep slapping your cheeks with your cheeks?’ And he’ll sob and sob and sob, and it’ll be really fucking funny.” (Hux)
“What the hell is wrong with you?” (Jack)
“A lot, my dear brother.” (Hux)

“You filthy fucking whore. I’m gonna pound my Little Engine That Could into your caboose until smoke emanates from your chimney. All aboard the cock-a-doodle express, destination—your sopping pussy, you little ho.” (Hux’s poor attempt at dirty talk as instructed by Mason 🤣🤣)

“Violet’s our sun, the light breaking up the monotony of darkness that has been our constant for so long, and we’re the planets that will never stop orbiting her ethereal being. There’s not a piece of me that doesn’t worship the ground Violet Dracula, my precious treasure, walks on.” (Hux)

“Believe it or not, Headmaster Gray, the world doesn’t revolve around you.”
“Believe it or not, Miss Violet Dracula, maybe my world revolves around you.”

“She’s my greatest sin and my most desired salvation all in one.” (Dimitri)

“Holy fuck. I see… a charmingly handsome man with dark hair and pale skin. Who is he? What does he want?”
“That’s your reflection, Dad.” (I fucking love Dracula 🤣🤣, definitely father and daughter)

“I love you, Pinkie. More than anything.”
“I love you too, Mase. More than… chocolate.”
“More than chocolate? Don’t let Hux hear you say that. He’ll start putting me in his pocket instead of candy bars.”

“Violet Dracula. The object of every one of my most inner desires and all of my nightmares. She’s temptation in the flesh, my temptation, but she’s also the one sin I refuse to commit. The one sin I can’t commit, not if I’m going to survive this with my heart intact.” (Alex)

“If I were to hurt you, let alone kill you—” (Violet)
“It’ll be worth it, Pinkie. Because it means I had you, if only for a little bit.” (Mason)

“How can she make me feel like the only man in the world, even when I know she’s in love with multiple others?” (Frankie)

“They’re mine. Cal, the flirty, posh, arrogant cupid. Barret, the kind, innocent, protective boogeyman. They belong to me, and I belong to them.”

“I want to bask in the heat that is Dimitri Gray. I want to burn in the fire he emanates until I’m nothing but ash.”

“I want to do everything with you, Cheese Curd. Go to the movies. Go out for dinner. Sit at the beach. Travel to Europe or Australia. Fuck, even go to the grocery store. It doesn’t matter… just as long as I’m with you.” (Barret)

“I want this to mean you’re mine. You can be the others’ too, but… I need you to be mine as well.” (Barret)
“I’ll be yours if you’ll be mine.” (Violet)
“But, Violet… I’ve always been yours. Always. Even when you weren’t mine. You don’t need to ask that of me.” (Barret)

Precious Treasure! You’re my pleasure! Because you’re a precious treasure! Oh yeah! Precious!” (Hux singing 🤦‍♀️🤣)

“When I’m with her, the rest of the world fades away like a spotlight has descended from the heavens to illuminate her beautiful, heart-shaped face.” (Jack)

Exciting

Such an exciting book, I'm rooting for Alex to come another Harem member!

This book gave us so much info, and made us anxious to see the finishline, I need that next book asap. But alas we have to wait.

Great 3th book, usually I lose all interest in book 3 but this one kept me interested through the whole book and excited for the next one. Great job

Yeahhhh not the best out of the series. Alex is definitely a mate and he’s kind of awful. So I have zero desire to read that. Especially after he made her 💩 herself in front of everyone in one of the earlier books because he hates her so much. It felt like the author wanted to do an enemies to lovers trope with them buuuut the enemy actually had to be lovable to want to read it. Also I knew I was over the series when I didn’t even feel bad when Mason dies. 😬

I’m not even structuring this review because I was so not into it. Like Violet can’t take anything seriously. Her monologue is starting to annoy me. Barrett and her didn’t need the push and pull that the author gave them. And for quite a bit of the book Violet and her mates are just trying to find one another. Pretty disappointing tbh.

I did like that it turns out neither Hera or Lucifer wants Violet dead. But if Hera, like Violet, can have multiple mates why did she leave Lucifer? I hope the last book wraps up that question.

Overall super bummed I’m doing the audiobooks and paid for this one 😬

The back story is finally starting to come together -the big "why" over vampire hate, and it's sudden uptick, along with the general vitriol that is aimed at Violet.

The romance picks up quite a bit, but there are some potentials that make me quirk my brow. Ah well.

Violet won the Roaring along with her mates and the guys she cares about, but only as friends, or frenemies, in Alex and Balor's cases.

And much to their displeasure, Lucifer requested to meet the winners.
Despite trying to go unnoticed, the King of Hell recognised Violet for who she is, but before either of them can reveal the truth, Violet was kidnapped.

Tortured by Van Helsing and some of his followers, Violet lost control of her powers.
After regaining consciousness, she cannot recall what happened nor what she did. But everyone in the room was brutally slaughtered and she was completely covered in blood. So...yeah...

Just then some professors of Prodigium Academy, including Dimitri Gray, arrived at the scene attempting to rescue her.
They found her in the room, surrounded by bodies and blood. They had no choice but to follow the law and lock her up for her crime.

Contained in detention, Violet is saved by a stranger who brings her to Hell and to Lucifer, her sperm donor and the man who tried to kill her as a baby. But did he?

Who is lying? Who is telling the truth?
Lucifer?
Hera?
Dracula?

The only ones she can trust are her guys:

Vin Van Helsing, the hunter;

Frankie, one of Frankenstein's experiments;

Mason, Medusa's cocky, laid back son;

Jack and Hux, sons of Dr. Jekyll and Hyde, two souls in one body;

Cal, the sexy, vain cupid;

Barret, the sweet, loveable boogeyman;

maybe even Dimitri Gray, son of Dorian Gray, headmaster of Prodigium Academy and a feared assassin;

And reluctantly,

Alex, a snarly necromancer,
And
Balor, a sadistic, Irish murderer hijacking Jack and Hux's body.

But when separated from the guys and hunted by monsters targeting anyone related to vampires or a Dracula, Violet has to fight not only for her survival but those she cares about, especially if she wants to uncover the truth regarding her past and these attacks.

Notes:

🔸 Interesting take on mythology, legends and monsters

All sort of beings interact with each other here.

🔸Funny scenes

A bit of dark humour, where being a monster is the norm and stabbing or eating people is normal.
Meshed that with a deranged, cute girl with a propensity to blabber and saying awkward things but it is okay because the guys always think she is adorable.

🔸Special one

The FMC is a special girl, everything goes effortlessly well even through all the chaos surrounding her. People love or hate her. Obviously the guys love her or are obsessed with her right from the start.

🔸 Incoherent and strange plot twists/lines and Inconsistencies

There are plenty of scenes and lines that change in ways that do not make much sense. Almost as if the author changed their mind in the middle and didn't bother to check if it made sense or was consistent or had the proper foundations to support the change.

For example:

- detention: it is a core setting of the story but it is so inconsistent.
Is it a prison, a punishment or isolation?
Who has the authority to punish people and for how long? Is it monitored? If the ones casted there are so dangerous they are not fit to be part of society shouldn't they be under vigilance and rules?
It seems as if the prisoners can do whatever they like as long as they don't leave that place. But even that is inconsistent. In the previous books, it was mentioned that Cal and Barret had a spell or something that controlled if they left the detention area. They were only allowed to leave on Halloween or to participate on the Roaring or they would burst into flames or something else deadly. But then, later on, Barret is frequently out of detention and not on Halloween nor for the Roaring, for example: to help with Mason's detox.

- Alex: another attempt at morally grey, bully romance (not a fan) or an enemy-to-lovers trope. His character was enjoyable, a bit always on the side, not falling all over the FMC which was a novelty in comparison with most of the guys, but still he lacked something.
Once more, the bad guy is actually redeemable (drastic change and more tell than show) just to justify him being a romantic interest for the FMC. Everything bad that happened before has been forgotten and "forgiven" and never discussed.

- Zeus and Medusa: masterminds or incoherent dumb-dumbs?
More incoherent behaviour and Inconsistencies.
In this book Zeus is so smart with his long term plan of world domination that no one suspected. Before he was a powerful teenager addicted to videogames and tantrums.
Medusa was an overprotective mother that did everything including trying to hurt her son's mate to protect him.
Both Zeus and Medusa had plenty of opportunities to kill Violet. So why didn't they if that was what they were after? Was it just to create drama? Did they have to go the long way just to end up where they were before, as in trying to create an opportunity for them, the bad guys, to finally strike (an opportunity like they had in the past) but only now that the truth is out and the MCs know can they come out in the open and fulfill their dark objectives?? Really??

And plenty of stupid decisions and unbelievable, unsupported and ill-timed scenes and behaviour.

As always my complete respect for the author and their work.

Spoilers in my review. Decent but

This book is decent but I’m going to talk about some issues I’m having with the book in general and it will contain spoilers so if you don’t want to read them, stop now.

My main issue comes with us finding out who the big bad is though it could have been obvious from the beginning. But what’s annoying here is that there’s a prophecy or two that we haven’t heard enough about really that I feel confused because what exactly does it say? Secondly Zeus is the big bad and he’s coming after Violet bc he believes her to want his throne, but it’s kind of stupid. Violet only came into her powers has shown no nefarious means to anything and yet everyone is after her for her perceived power grab? Zeus doesn’t realize he’s the one fulfilling the prophecy by taking away someone Violet loves. Did she take any steps to gain the throne in all the books? No. It’s annoying af bc it doesn’t seem well explained or well plotted out. Some of what was coming was obvious like the prophecy that Dracula’s daughter will kill Mason. I suspected who it could be and suspected that that person would do it but was not surprised when they showed up to do the deed. All of this culminates with Violet turning Violent. Like.

Other parts of the book is solidifying things with her mates but it’d not been directly spoken about so that’s something I wish changed where they all had a sit down convo.

Overall the series is interesting but I think it needs a bit more depth to the overall plot.

Another great book in this series

Love love love this book. I'm glad that she killed off Mason, but also brought him back to life. I love him and I love the boogeyman, the way she writes them. I wish you wouldn't have made that. I made him so dumb. I'm not sure if it's because his dumb is not like funny like yeah, is dumb. The hoaxes are just a little bit immature.. I love the great period comments in the books. It's hilarious. How he thinks if he just gives her chocolate that it will help combat the great period I laugh every time he does that. Um, yeah, these characters are easy easy to get roped into I really do you enjoy this book? And for a long time, the cover threw me off. I thought, you know it was going to be cartoonish fish. And yeah, the fmc naive, not naive. I wouldn't call her naive from what I'm reading is a child dish, you know, but I guess that's what you get what you're dealing with 19 and 20-year-olds, it's just that all of the males seem more, I'm grown up, then she does, and it throws me and for her to have this many mates, you know. You would think she would be a little bit more grown-up. I mean, I don't think you take away. Her sassy is, or you know, her little girl. Clicks, things like that, you know, her little ticks and video secrecies, I think she's just adorable when she does those with the constant rambling. It does get old after a little bit. So, but these books, we're really good, I'm off to book 5. The final book read at your apparel.

Okay so I'm going against my usual review style here again because I've come to the realization that when reading a series, if one book sucks (especially the last book) then I don't want to get into the series. So I feel it's more important to review a book based on the series in its entirety instead. So here goes ...

Prodigium Academy (as a series) is very cute and well written. The storyline and plot are well thought out and also organized very well. Each book and chapter have a direct focus and the plot twists are very intriguing and entertaining. I was pleased when the ending offered three epilogues to show various stages of the future, which also made for a well rounded ending.

I liked the world that was created for the main character and her mates, and i think each character developed nicely throughout the series. Yeah some side quests within the story were a bit excessive and felt unnatural but I still have to admit i BALLED my eyes out during the final book. Full on ugly cries too.

Regarding every single character, the author did a great job following through on their own storylines and tied everything up nicely in the end. While i skimmed a lot throughout this entire series, i did enjoy it very much. If you're a smut-only reader this may not be the series for you... despite its decent amount of spice, i didn't think those scenes were well conducted and felt quite forced most of the time.

Fangs (Prodigium Academy Book 4)

The truth is all coming out and I am certain that everyone who underestimated Violet Dracula are in for the ass kicking of their lives. Does this mean she will team up with (gasp, shock, horror)/Balor? Who will join her army to rise up against the real deceiver. Trying not to reveal too much plot here. If you like your romance with a male harem; sexy villains, sex, comedy, death, torture and general mayhem then this series was written just for you. If like to imagine yourself as the beautiful, graceful, smooth and sophisticated heroine then this is not for you. She is beautiful but she trips over her own feet, her mind drifts off in strange and mysterious ways often related to sex but she is a 5 ft pocket rocket when those she loves are threatened (imagine body parts confetti and rivers of blood) you might get the picture, even if Violet doesn’t remember what happens. Why not try book one and let it suck you in until before you know it you are devouring book 4 and like me, salivating for the final murderous, bloody, gruesome rending of her enemies and (hopefully, don’t let me down Katie May) a powerful loving reunion which includes a marathon of sexual adventures with all her mates.

Oh my gosh!!! I wasn’t ready for that ending!!! What a plot twist. Zeus is evil which really isn’t a surprise. Medusa killed Mason her own son….plot twist Medusa has been dead for 10 years and Deidre Stevens was pretending to be her. I thought she was dead but Zeus brought her back to life. Dimitri was kidnapped and tortured and still hasn’t woken up. Barrett and Violet finally worked everything out. Alex was working for Lucifer. Lucifer and Hera are mates and both love Violet but thought the other tried to kill Violet but it was really Zeus. Balor was separated from Hux and Jack. He is a forminian, the rest of his people are locked up. Zeus has been eating souls for more power. Alex is actually on her side and is a possible mate. All of her mates and Vanessa have been ruined/controlled by Zeus to hate vampires and try to kill then. Vin was able to break free long enough to kill Deidre for killing Mason. Zeus now has Lucifer, Dracula and Hera all captive and Violets mates under control. Alex and Violet escape. She is going to release the Forminians and create an army and go after Zeus and fight for her rightful place and get her mates back.

This is an accurate representation of what went down in my brain at the end of this book: *Looks around rather confused as there is no way that is how we end this book, rewinds a bit, listens again, yep, that is the ending. Excuse me now as I fume until the next book comes out.*

I loved this book! (And yes, I am sure that says something about my psyche based on the first paragraph of this review) The audiobook is so well done & I love the duet narration!

Violet and her men are just epic. This harem is definitely getting thick, I mean huge, large? Ya whatever, you know what I mean. This girl is living the dream with the number of men she is accumulating, and each one brings something new to the group.

Such a great book & series, definitely one to dive into!

These books just keep getting better and better. I don’t know what to say without spoiling the whole entire book but I will give this a try.

The one thought that comes to mind is that it was amazing but also what a cliffhanger! So glad I don’t have to wait for the last book.

This book has Violet in detention and her mates trying to help her, getting kidnapped, questions followed by answers, getting rescued, getting kidnapped again, running from monsters, mystery runes, getting help from unlikely sources, new mates and love, smut done so well, Violet bluffing she knows things that she doesn’t, one prophecy coming true, and an ending that will leave you grieving but wanting the next book to see how it finishes.

I hate with my soul that the author gives us so little plot development. I love the characters and the relationships they build, but the plot as such is overshadowed by Violet's constant rambling, filler and sexual scenes. Plus it stressed me out that Violet didn't care so much about Dimitri while he was kidnapped and being tortured, it stressed me out that instead of looking for him, doing everything to find him and bring him back she was concentrating on having sex. The same with Hux and Jack, instead of looking for a way to separate them from Balor, she was concentrating on having sex. I like that FMC's show the same devotion to all their partners as well as they show all their devotion to her, but Violet does not. So that's why I didn't like this book as much. 3.5 stars.

I wish the series was complete.

This series is laugh out loud funny in some places and I really enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I was reluctant to read it because of the premise. I really didn't think I could get into the monster aspect of it. It did lag in some places and it almost ruined the whole thing for me when I realized that there was a book 5 and it doesn't have a release date yet. I would have waited for the series to be complete before I started it. I would have given it 4 stars. I did enjoy the series so far but I just can't get over the annoyance.

This series has been good. It’s a fun twisted read and the narrators have brought these characters to life. They always do so well giving every single character it’s own vibe and just packed full of emotion. The reason for the loss of stars is because seriously does any one actually stay dead? So many deaths and her other then the cliffhanger this left us on everyone keeps coming back to life. It’s starting to get repetitive and causes me to roll my eyes a lot. Hoping the next book is better but honestly I expect the death at the end of the book to be a oh no he’s dead how will I ever survive nope just kidding.

When I read a series that is completely released my brain looks at it like one book so I don't normally leave reviews till the book is done but...... Do we really have to put me through emotional damage!? I mean the sex scenes are "chefs kiss" perfect! The fact that She is finally noticing Barrett as a mate made my day but then Deidra effing Stevens has to come back and unalive one of my fave monsters!? Oh and lets not forget that Zeus the all powerful egotistical a-word is a giant power hungry child! Like TF! Oh well. Lets see where Vi and Alex end up with this oh so yummy relationship and the path of destruction and Grief that Vi is going to instill on the big MANCHILD!

Literally my favorite series to read. Violet is a fun character and I love all her men- including a certain necromancer who’s being stubborn. I do miss reading more from Hux (Precious Treasure!) but happy to see he and Jack don’t have to deal with Balor anymore….which reminds me- will he also join Violet’s harem now that he’s in his own body?!

And that ending! UGH!! WTF. I’m in shock dude. I really don’t like the position Zeus put Vin in!!

I’m also surprised Cal was affected by Zeus’s powers, I thought he would’ve been stronger than that??

Holy monster babies!!!!! This is an 18+ book don't let your young teen read this!!!! This book is as good if not better than the first three. The sense between Violet and her mates will make some blush others will want their significant other around. I was shocked with how the book ended I can't believe that Mason is gone he was one of my favorites of Violet's mates . I'm going to be on not so patiently waiting for the final book. I really hope that Zeus gets what's coming to him. I love that Cal can see all the mate bonds but is not forcing them like he used too. A must read!!!

Book 4 or 5. Written gold - verbal sparring and wit and just internal monologue nonsense mixed together. Highly individualised characters that work together so so well, high heat and this beautiful romance/die for her attitudes in amongst a much bigger mor complex plot. I love all of this author's work and for some reason missed this series... I am now unsure if this series or her King of Grove Academy is. She is utterly brilliant!

I actually bought all on Kindle and 1-4 on Audible (patiently stalking the listing for book 5)

What in Mount Olympus was that ending!?

I have goosebumps. Like literal goosebumps. I absolutely love this series and I knew this book was going to be brutal, but that cliffhanger at the end has left me gobsmacked. I have so many questions. I need so many answers. And something tells me Violet is going to need every single one of her mates, past, present, and future of there's to be any kind of HEA.

I absolutely Loved this book. Violet is so funny and loves hard. There's a war coming and I cannot wait to read the next book to see how it ends. Violet and her mates are strong and protective of each other. She might possibly be adding to her harem, which I am so here for. Also we learn more about her true parents and the Gods. That cliffhanger was a doozy. On to the next.

Gods n monsters

The end game is revealed n the fight is on. Tragedy strikes with a heavy loss n violet fails to be badass against the bad guy gods. Balor reveals what he's been up to. We get some seriously sexy hot 🔥 sexy times. A curse is going around targeting Violet n Dracula. Its all crazy chaos!!

This series is so easy to consume. I’m annoyed af with myself for constantly starting series that aren’t finished, but I’m chomping at the bit for the last book to come out because this shit got me enthralled as hell.

She writes her characters so well and makes them super easy to love, which I’m just a sucker for. Will absolutely be reading more books from her

I need book 5! Now!

I "digested" these four books rather quickly, thinking the last one would be out by the time I finished. But sadly no. So I'm going to read them again, slowly. Oh! You really want to read them. They will make you feel every emotion, I laughed outloud in public several times. That was awkward 😳 But worth the embarrassment.

This series sneaks up on you with its snarky humor. You think it’s going to be lighthearted and easygoing and then BAM! It’s twisted as h311. I don’t know how Violet is going to pull off her coup, but I can’t wait to see what happens next. The ending left me heartbroken and screaming in my head!

Violet, Frankie, Vin, Mason, Jack/Hux, Cal, Barret, Dimitri, Alex

It took me forever to stop crying long enough to write this. I can't believe this is the end of one of Violet's mates. I choose not to believe it. Zeus is evil, and I can't wait for him to get what's coming to him. I'm rushing away now to start the last book!

I’ve been waiting for this book for what feels like forever. I love this series so much.

Violet is LIFE!! Her mates are so different from each other, except for the fact that they will do anything for her.

I need the next book!!!
