Elise Noble is an English rose with a few thorns who loves chocolate, sleep, and well-defined abs. Not hers, unfortunately. She lives near London with a horse who eats all her money and three dogs who eat everything else.

Elise writes real, gutsy heroines and flawed but swoon-worthy heroes in stories that mix mystery and mayhem, humour and happily-ever-afters.

Once again Ms Noble delivers an unforgettable story within the Blackwood parameters. We met Kylie and Russell in Copper her last book. I was itching to see how her story would play out. I wasn’t disappointed at all! This book has it all, love, passion and suspense. The action starts almost as soon as you turn the first page so to spk. I couldn’t put this book down. It was riveting! I love catching up with past characters too. This group of guys and ladies are fascinating and so exciting to read about. Now we meet new people too. I can’t wait for her next book. Highly recommend this book and series.
Awesome job Elise.

Another amazing story from Elise with interesting characters, that you want to know more about as well as the suspense that makes it hard to put the book down once you’ve started it. And of course there’s the romance and passion as an extra spice to bring it all together.

Bronze’ main characters are 2 of the persons we met in “Copper” and the story picks up shortly after the other book but can easily be read as a stand-alone. The flashbacks and references to Copper makes it easy to understand the background and for reader who’s already read the other book it acts as a nice reminder of what happened. Elise manages to fulfil the need of the new readers without making it an annoying repetition for the readers who already knows.

Bronze is yet another “I’m not getting much sleep tonight because I need to finish this” book from Elise Noble - and it comes highly recommended by me. So get the book, sit back and enjoy!

Every so often, when I start a new book, I have to wait for the first few chapters for the story to engage. With Bronze, instead, the action begins at the very first page, gripping the reader to the story with breathtaking scenes and endless twists. Amongst them, an epic motorbike chase scene deserves a special mention.
There are also many other captivating facets of this novel that are worth a special note.
First of all, the peculiar personalities of the two protagonists. Both Kylie and Russell appeared in Copper. In Bronze, however, their traits reveal in full, giving life to two generous, selfless, and very human characters. Russell is sweet, caring, and humble, never boasting his genius computer skills or his wealth, often with a self-deprecating attitude that makes his character fascinating. Kylie has a giving and loving nature. She trusts easily and gets burned as a consequence, but never loses her sweet and caring disposition. Russell and Kylie are two kindred spirits that fight together; each one sustaining the other when they are on the brink of giving up.
Old and new characters populate the lively and diverse cast of characters. There's Emmy, always unstoppable when she decides to pursue a friend's cause, and Mimi, a new member of the team, who has the potential for many future exhilarating adventures. Then Luke, the local Blackwood team, and the staff of the Brisbane Black Diamond Hotel, whose members double as security agents when needed.
In summary, Bronze is, as many of Ms. Noble's novels, an exciting, gripping, and humorous book with touches of seriousness; for example, the respect and compassion with which she describes the experiences of abused or exploited women. Furthermore, an unusual nuance of sweetness and warmth adds a peculiar touch to the story, making Bronze a delightful, surprising, and refreshing reading.

For those of you who read Copper, this is Kylie's story. I really enjoyed reading about her fight to get justice and finding love along the way.
With the help of Blackwood Security and some familiar faces from previous books, Kylie goes back to Australia to try and clear her name of the murder charge against her. The problem is that is was her exboyfriend/former boss in the police who set her up.
This story kept me wondering what would happen next the whole way through. Elise Noble's writing is anything but predictable. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for an edge of your seat, full of action and suspense novel!

Kylie is a bit different from the usual Blackwood female protagonist so it took me some time to digest her views and ‘nervy’ character. I especially love this book because its location setting cause the nearby neighbouring countries mentioned including mine! Yeay!

I look forward to reading more about Mimi and Rix. The late Maynard sounded like an important person in Mimi’s life; would like to read more about him too.

Bronze: A Romantic Suspense Novel (Blackwood Elements Book 8) by Elise Noble.
Elise Noble is a great story teller and this time the story is set in Australia. We met the main characters Kylie/Teagan and Russell in a previous book (Copper - Blackwood Elements Book 7). There is no need to read the previous book(s), (but why would you not read all the books in this series?) as this story explains the back ground and takes the reader along for the roller coaster storyline that is so typical Elise Noble. There are the usual interesting secondary characters, there is action, drama, suspense, romance, what is not to like? All in all another winner. 4 stars.

We originally meet Kylie Nichols, aka Kyanna Watson, aka Tegan Wallace, aka and her pretend husband Russell Watson aka Russell Weisz in Copper. Russell is accompanying Kylie to Queensland coast, Australia while helping Blackwood Security clear her name of murdering a CI. Kylie, a young police officer striving to be a detective, was set up by her former boyfriend and boss and fellow officers. She has been on the run for three years.
Kylie is story is artfully woven using her loss, fears, sorrows and anger. Adding a strange new Blackwood employee named Mimi, a wild motorcycle escape, danger, a love interest and some humor, Ms. Noble has succeeded once again in developing an intriguing and suspenseful story.

As always, Elise's books are so much fun! In Bronze, a Blackwood Elements novel, we meet Kylie and Russell, who were first introduced in the previous novel, Copper. They travel to Australia to clear Kylie’s name as she has been framed for murder by her cop ex-boyfriend. There is plenty of drama, larger-than-life characters, developing love and friendship, all tied together by a clever dialogue and a smart story line. Elise Noble’s stories always grab your attention right from the start and keep you engaged right until the last page, while her characters are so real they make you laugh and cry right alongside them. Be warned, once you start the book, you’ll struggle to put it down again! I received an advance copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Bronze is the wonderful new book in the Blackwood Elements series. Kylie and Russell are characters we first met in Copper, the previous book in this fantastic series. Although it is not essential to have read Copper it will add to the enjoyment of reading Bronze and add some background details. Kylie is risking everything to return to Australia where she was framed for murder. Russell and Blackwood Security are her only hope to clear her name.
Bronze is full of great characters, both old and new, and has everything you expect from an Elise Noble book. I cannot recommend this book, this series and this author highly enough.

Yeah For Tegan, oops Kylie!

I love Emmy's happy endings, well after the usual chaos and mayhem, oh a few killings... But with any Blackwood book, what's a little chaos, mayhem, and probably more than a few killings.

As usual Elise Noble, stellar! You addicted me to "Tegan" since Tia's story, and Russell, well dark horses and all...

Miimi and Fix seriously, what are you waiting for, get a move on lady, in between you so "few" (lmao) other pursuits!
Bring it on! There's never enough Emmy crazy for me, whether head on, God you have to love her, or peripheral!

And another terrific Elise Noble book, next ...

Fantastic addition to the elements series

No plot spoilers
No potential triggers
There are no errors.
There is some swearing and a sex scene lightly written.
The characterisation is flawless, I loved Kylie when she was Tegan so it was no hardship getting to know her better as Kylie.
Russell was the quiet man in Egypt and he really comes into his own in this book.
By the end I adored him but will let you read it yourself to find out why.
There is romance, laughter and tears and as ever, I hate when the book ends.
Would I recommend the book?
Yes, without reservation, but would advise reading from the beginning of the Blackwood series to obtain the best reading experience.

Action, adventure, romance and more on my!

Another epic story by Elise Noble! Kylie and Russell's story is about learning to trust again. About finding your own freedom while searching for proof of the truth. There are many obstacles along the way and they are handled with the finesse we have come to expect from Blackwood professionals. The Blackwood Australia members are delightful extended family. I can't wait to learn more about Mimi, Leyton and of course Akeem. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

Looking forward to the next book

Another solidly entertaining romantic suspense/thriller from Elise Noble. The cast of recurring characters grows and this is one of my favourite series. If you've ever come out of a Bond film feeling like you could take on the world with a paperclip, you will enjoy Emmy and friends (in this case , Mimi, of whom I would definitely love to hear more). The characters have spark and wit. The plots are twisty. There are great cars and exotic locations.

Yet again, another intriguing, thrilling and exciting story from the Blackwood series where it pick off from "Copper" the story of Kylie(Teagan) of her return to clear her name and reclaim back her life, after being on the run for before her encounter with the Baddest Ice Queen at the same time compassionate and kind hearted Emmy Black, will she be able to clear her name even with Emmy and Blackwood's help? Why not find in Elise Noble latest book "BRONZE" of Kylie's life adventure and I assure you, you will not regret it.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It built on the characters from the previous Elements series but is a standalone book. I love how the characters are so humanized, they say things the average person would say, laugh out loud humor, and sizzle. Highly recommended as a standalone, even more so as a series.

Another very clever tale from the master who is Elise Noble. Russell comes across as a shy geek when in fact he is a very gorgeous male. His character was just perfect for Kylie. Lots of twists and turns throughout the book and of course no book would be worth the praise without the appearance of Emmy. Brilliant. Please keep them coming Elise

I'd recommend reading this book. I am so far in in regards to the amount of books that I have read that contain blackwood and all of its characters and continue to love the depth of the characters and the twist and turns of the story lines.

Interesting book!

Great book in the "Elements" sub-series. Elise gives us a good mix of action and romance. Rereading the entire "Blackwood" timeline from her website. Waiting for the next book which should be out sometime in the next couple of months.

Bronze Aussie adventure, Blackwood style

Yet another great read from author Elise Noble. 💞 This title can be read on its own but continues the adventure of our friend Kylie, aka Tegan from Copper. Copper saw the introduction of characters Kylie and Russell and in this book, Bronze we get to see them fight their own fight for survival and to clear Kylie's name. Again, Elise introduces us to great entertaining characters, some a little more mysterious and deadly 💥 than others, others with a heart of gold and the usual concept of helping out the underdog. This time around our exotic location for the story takes us to sunny Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, Australia. 🇦🇺 It is obvious that author, Elise does her research for her story's locations and little qwerks of the Aussie language, loved how she used the word "nuddy" in a particular scene! Better still was Russell looking for real estate in Indooroopilly ( a western suburb of Brisbane and very close to me.... lol)
Starting to wonder just how big is Blackwood security though and how their staff numbers increase each book.
If you have read Elise's other books you will understand the chemistry of her books and how the girl always gets her guy... or is it the other way around? 💝😍 If you enjoy romance and a few raunchy sex scenes, mystery, murders, action and that ideal of good verses bad and winning, then you'll enjoy the works of Elise Noble.
I was provided with an advanced copy of Bronze for the opportunity to review it.

I love all the Blackwood stories. Once again, Elise is further developing the characters we just met in the previous book and adding new ones . Bronze is the story of Tegan/Kylie, to whom we were introduced in the interactive story about Tai's journey in Egypt, which later turned into "Copper". The books stand on their own, but I really do recommend reading each series from the beginning. It enriches the experience so much to know each character when they are recurring in subsequent books while new characters are introduced. Like seeing old friends after an absence.

As usual, Elise's sense of humor shines through in witty dialogue, charming interactions and funny, yet believable, internal dialogue by the characters.

Now, we wait for the next book...

I always enjoy the series as they right the wrongs done and provide insights to different people who have entered the series in earlier books. I really felt for Keylie in Copper when we were told how she was wrongly accused for a murder. She was a good friend to Tai and helped them a lot. It gave a great deal of pleasure to have the actual murderer caught and to see her come out of her shell and start to live. She will now be a part of the Blackwood community and hopefully appear in other books too.
Once again a great book to read. I am looking forward to the next one.

I was looking forward to read more about Teagan aka Kylie and Bronze didn't disappoint. She returns to Australia with Russell who feels guilty for inventing Ether and wants to help her clear her name. Together with the help of Blackwood they're trying hard to find evidence against Kylie's ex-boyfriend who framed her for murder. Will she regain her freedom or end up in prison?
