Hook up: Straight to gay erotica

Rate this book
The only bar I ever went to was a gay bar, but I rarely went to any bar at all. It wasn't my scene. Just this once, I showed up. As I ordered my drink, I noticed a familiar Cameron. His sandy blonde hair and brown eyes made him a cutie. Even though I don't hit on straight men, I've always thought he was attractive.

We went to high school together and worked at the same burger joint at one point.

I thought he was entirely straightlaced, yet he was at a gay bar. There are two ways in which I meant that. In my mind, he was straight and he did not drink. I may have been mistaken. He had to be queer if he was here. Making my way to him, I sipped my drink casually.

Over the loud music, I said, “Hello Cameron.” Despite knowing that I was gay, he seemed shocked when he saw me.

“Oh, hey, Danny,” he said as he glanced around. He was clearly looking for someone.

I turned to leave, feeling awkward as I said, “If you're waiting for your date, I'll catch you later.”

Over the loud music, he barely said, “Wait, don't leave. I'm not waiting for anyone.”

In my curiosity, I had to ask, “Why are you here?”

The color of his cheeks blushed deep red. “I don’t know.”

I felt sorry for him. Maybe he was just a closet case trying to figure things out. My head was spinning thinking about those days. I tried to be sensitive.

“I come here occasionally. There is a drink they make that I really like. It's only made here, so whenever I'm in the mood, I swing by.”

“It looks good. What’s the drink called?”

“The rim job.” His face turned a deeper shade of red. “It’s a mixture of a bunch of shit that I can’t exactly remember.”

“Oh,” he shyly said. “The rim job sounds good.”

A rim job sounded good to me, but I wasn't sure if he meant the drink... or something else.

“It’s very good. I love the rim job. Delicious as a matter of fact.” My plan was to flirt with him just a little to see what he would say.

“Maybe I’ll try it sometime,” he replied.

“You definitely should.”

Taking a sip of his drink, he looked at me and said, “I really don't like bars. There’s so much noise and too many people.”

“I understand. Let’s go outside and get some fresh air,” I suggested.

“Great idea.”

“Cameron, I will meet you outside. Don't chug your drink, take your time. I'll be waiting for you.” After finishing my drink and paying my tab, I headed towards the door.

“Wait! Don’t leave without me. I’m done.”

He sat his half-full glass down and paid his tab. The air was cool and fresh outside the bar.

“I’m glad to get out of that stale bar,” I said to Cameron. “Want to come back to my place?”

His eyes were filled with shock as he looked at me.

“I didn’t mean for it to come out like that. I swear I wasn’t hitting on you.”

His hands ran nervously through his hair. “Yeah sure.”

I pulled my phone out of my pocket to hail an Uber. “If you’re uncomfortable, you don’t have to.”

“I want to,” he said with a deep, raspy voice.
