Scarecrow’s Mask is the spine-chilling fourth book in The Keeper YA dark fantasy series. If you like nail-biting tension, creepy scenes, and soul-wrenching battles, then you’ll love C.M Neary’s moody tale.
I’ve been following this series from the beginning, and Book 4 might be my favorite so far. It was great to see Raven and Eli again, especially with how their paths cross in the old district near Blackstone Bridge — those chapters had such a tense, atmospheric feel. The scenes out in Hollow Bend were incredibly vivid too; the whole place felt colder and more uneasy this time. And I really liked how Delilah’s storyline keeps threading through the larger mystery without giving too much away. The book feels darker, sharper, and more emotionally grounded, and it keeps you turning pages without ever spoiling what's coming next.
