I’m soooooo sad it’s over but happy that I was able to experience life in the world of Dominic, Josiah, Desmond and Andre!!! I meannnn!!!!!!!! This series was everything and I really can’t pick who I fell in love with the most! I just can’t decide! Andre was everything! We got a brief taste of him in “The Endgame”. He was Josiah’s best friend who sacrificed his life and took a life sentence murder charge so that Josiah could “take care of family” and make it big with football. Well fast forward years later and Andre is released from prison due to the governor pardoning minors that were served life sentences. Like most black men that are released back into a world that continued right on without missing a beat, all while time stood still for them in prison, Andre struggled with life on the outside. He was thrown right into a welcome home party and a life he was no longer familiar with. When him and Jade’s (Josiah’s boo) best friend Natasha cross paths, there is an instant “thump” of hearts and other things that tie their souls together before a single word is even spoken. The journey of these two was so magical to witness! They lived in gray and it was the best experience watching their life together unfold with the turn of each page.

What I enjoyed most about this series was that it was sooooo realistic. You have 4 boys raised in the hood of Atlanta and with all the odds stacked against them they rose. They experiences murder, betrayal, prison, being shot and being treated like animals by a system that was set up to see them fail before they even took their first breath outside of the womb. We saw these men experience heartbreak and also healing when the love of a woman came into play. Claudette, Jade, Logan and Natasha were equally broken young women that rose against absentee parents, pregnancy at a young age, being born as a “drug baby” and being shunned because their sexuality does not mirror what a parent feels that it should. The character development in these stories was amazing and they all touched me deeply. I loved Evie, Journey and Audrianna! They will have better lives filled with love and endless opportunities because their parents have and are healing from the trauma of their childhoods! These stories truly represents sacrifice and healing so that the next generation can do better and be better than the last. Rae left me FULL and owes me nothing! No a single thing!! Absolutely amazing! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Perfection!

“Thirty” by Rae Lyse is one of those books that I absolutely dread having to write a review for. It’s not because I disliked it, but I absolutely loved it! It’s so hard thinking of words to describe how profound this story was.

This story centers around Andre. Andre was facing a life sentence but a new law and a great lawyer gave him clemency. We follow Andre as he navigates this unexpected newfound freedom. Locked up since he was 16 and now free as an adult is something he was not prepared for. Rae Lyse does a phenomenal job giving us an intimate view of his anxiety, fears, and insecurities, but above all, his resilience. He follow him as he navigates fatherhood, coparenting, parole requirements, and his unwavering loyalty and dedication to Thirty! I adored and loved him! He was one of those characters that you can’t help but sit on the edge of your seat, awaiting his next words. His aura, his charisma, his journey was addictive. I couldn’t fault Natasha for being swept up into his world, because myself as a reader was all in as well.

Natasha was complicated yet easy. She was fresh air. She was fun and easy going. She made you feel like the most important person in the world. She was addictive.

Andre and Natasha together was sacred. They operated in a world that I felt grateful for being let in. I rooted for them from beginning to end! This is a couple that you want to see win.

Thirty is a family. It’s a brotherhood. It’s unwavering. It’s fiercely protective. It’s moves as a unit. It’s about sacrifice for the greater good. When one wins, they all win. It was an honor being apart of them.

Thank you Rae Lyse for blessing us with another outstanding story! This is a definite must read! The ENTIRE Sun Series is a must read! I love forward to what Rae Lyse bring us next.

I genuinely believe “This Thirty shit is for a lifetime.” The Sun Series had me so tuned in that I did not want it to end. “Thirty” follows Dre as he readjusts to society after serving six years of a life sentence after being granted clemency. On the surface, Dre appears normal, but on the inside, he struggles with how much the world has changed. After meeting Tasha through a mutual friend, they realize how much they need each other to navigate this black-and-white world.

What a perfect way to end the series. The Thirty Way 🖤 this book was so Atlanta coded and I loved it. It brought back childhood memories of my birthplace, the food I still love to eat in Atlanta, and the lingo 🤌🏾 everything about this series felt so realistic and raw.

Dre was everything and I loved that things fell into place for him. He didn’t deserve the hand he was dealt but he took it all with his head held high. He and Natasha were perfect for each other but we can’t forget the real star - Dri Dri. What an amazing young child with an incredible bond with her dad even though he had been away for most of her life. Bravo, Rae 👏🏾

Although Andre was a minor, he spent 6 years in an adult prison system in order to help his family. Andre was enlightened to be so young and his daughter was a smart young lady that adored her dad. She wasn’t the average 8 year old, she too was well versed and enlightened . I love how the men of this series took the led in their relationships and helped their women grow. I’m also happy to get an update on JoJo and his family.

“Family business ain’t nobody else business-just ours”

It’s the Thirty way, or no way! I absolutely loved everything about this story.. The best thing about this story is how accurately it portrays the Criminal Justice system, how difficult it is for people to transition from being an inmate to surviving in the, “real world”. There were so many gems and ah-ha moments. Rae Lyse has a way with words, her storytelling paints realistic aspects of painful stories and makes the most complex characters find happiness in their own way.

In the beginning, Andre is preparing for his exit from prison. He was granted clemency after being convicted for murder. Rahim- his cellmate, advised, “Don’t get swept away by focusing on this worldly life. It’s a distraction that’ll destroy you if you let it.” I think Andre needed that reassurance. I love what the author did with Andre’s story; he exudes loyalty and strength. He is wise beyond his years and his poetic justice like way with words had me highlighting and making so many notes. He faced many tests and at one point wanted to go back to prison but he persevered. I imagine a lot of former inmates have felt the same feelings. “Adjusting ain’t some sh- that happens in one moment. It happens bit by bit until you get used to your new normal.” Natasha is a wild card, she has this care-free attitude that is not ashamed of her sexuality but underneath the façade is a little girl whose voice was taken many years prior. I love everything about Natasha, when she broke down and told her friends her struggles, I wanted to give her the biggest hug! I can totally picture Andre’s mesmerizing green eyes staring into Natasha. I can picture Natasha with wild untamed hair and baggy-unladylike attire.

One of the things was Andre’s three rules that he was taught on keeping a woman in his pocket: 1. Take care of your b-, and they’ll always take care of you in the best way. 2. Flex ya’ mouthpiece. You flex it good enough, she’ll do whatever you want her to do. 3. I break ‘em. After that, they always belong to me. While the rules were generated by Andre’s father, who had questionable tendencies, it worked on Natasha. She was beside herself and was so protective of Andre, wanting to be his everything. I loved how their situation progressed. I think Natasha really helped Andre’s transition into the real world. He had no adult skills or sense of direction and she helped him.

There were so many themes in this book; the big one was loyalty- doing everything to help the family, even when you don’t want to. I thought the mention of how society, specifically sports, places such high expectations on black athletes was an underrated storyline. I also liked the mention of the Parole Officer and how he acted towards Andre. I think Andre handled him as best as he could because he was making my blood boil. Also, taking care of each other was another theme- “What you dropped in my lap not yours to protect. That’s for me. Let me handle it. That’s what I always do.”

Natasha and Andre hold a special place in my “pocket”. The real star was Audriana, she was so cute and definitely her father’s child. I loved the character development, the complexity of the storyline and how it progressed. This is a complete and must read book. I can go on about this book, it was quite the experience. My absolute favorite quote was: “When you recognize greatness in the people you love, you gotta nurture that greatness by any means necessary”. – This quote summarizes the entire Sun Series.

Full circle!

Whew! Where do I begin with this beautiful series?
Thirty is the 4th and possibly final book in The Sun Series. First let me start off with complimenting Rae Lyse on the way she pens her books/series. Each book can and does stand on it's own, however, to get the full story, reading all the books is a must. I'm so glad to have Andre's story. I felt a bond with him from Josiah's story because of the sacrifice he made for him. And he constantly made sacrifices even behind the wall by holding him down and keeping him encouraged. Andre is Love personified. He gives love so freely, to the right people. His gentle spirit was a treasure to read. Even though to me, he felt so heavy, conflicted and even withdrawn at times, he still exuded light and love. Especially for his family. Natasha was such a complex character for me to read because she didn't translate as very strong. She kind of just went with the flow. But in being true to herself and not altering who and what she wanted to be, that itself shows strength. She continued to show up for her family even though they didn't show up for her. She remained respectful and honest, for the most part. Tash is definitely the most complex character I've read about. And I still feel like there are layers to her that I didn't scratch the surface to. This is a story you have to take your time with. Open yourself up to the possibilities and reality that there are 16 year old boys and girls that are being forced into adulthood way too soon. Are we as a society supporting them, encouraging them, modeling good character for them? I love the friendships put on display in this entire series. And the message. Hope. It gets better.

Rae. Rae. Rae. Rae. Oh how I love you. There is just no other author that can write about a lifestyle I never want, but some how crave. There is no author writing about vulnerable black men the way she is. There is no other author writing complexed relationships the way she is.

Thirty is the fourth book in the sunflower series and is based on Andre and Natasha. Andre has just been released from prison and is trying to navigate the outside world all while finding a new and dependent relationship with Natasha. While Natasha, a (I’m assuming pansexual but ima just say queer) queer lively dancer is trying to understand her feelings for Andre and navigate his world—this book reminded me why I love Rae Lyse work. It always gives REAL character driven stories. Not surface level, not trying to be deep. Just some real ass shit. I think I read somewhere Lyse is a social worker, I can tell. Her characters seem too nuanced and raw for her to be anything else than woman whose seen a lot of broken black men, women, and children. Now, although elements pertaining to her characters are always perfect PERSONALLY I needed a little bit of push with plot into her work to keep me there with her. I caught myself feeling a little how I did with bunny, I need more things happening outside of Andre and Tash’s relationship like in end game.

I did not like Andre. I didn’t like him in a sense I don’t like him for me. I didn’t like the way he never really talked to the mother of his child about respecting his personal life. I didn’t like the way he kept Natasha in the dark about a lot things and demanded her to do stuff for him because “She was his”. I didn’t like that he wanted to break her. I didn’t like that he allowed Audrianna to know so many things about the world at 8 years old (though this is realistic to the Situation she was in). Sometimes I forgot she was a child…But Andre isn’t for me. He’s for Natasha— and as someone reading the book as though my new found bestie at 37 is talking to me over mimosas at brunch about her past life—I got him for the sake of her. Did I mention Natasha got on my nerves to? But that’s always the point, Rae Lyse writes humans not words on a page ensembles to a hot man. This is real writing.

Thirty, wow! This book was that missing piece that completed a beautiful picture of a puzzle. That puzzle being the sun series. What a way to end this series. I feel so overwhelmed with emotions I’m heartbroken because it’s over, beaming with happiness that Dre & Tasha got their HEA but most of all I am fulfilled because Rae couldn’t have wrote this story any better than she has. Rae really made you fall in love with flawed, gutter, perfectly imperfect men that’s the realest you’ll ever come across that live by a code of family over everything and that loyalty is the root of it all. Thirty gave me all the “poetic justicey” feels along with life teaching lessons. This book this series was utter perfection!!!

great author and very very well written. i loved it and then slowly started to hate it. i do not like their relationship at all, and i could not stand Audrianna. why did Natasha have to jump through all those hoops for Dre? and i didn’t enjoy her friends and their friendship. why does no one care that he went to jail for something he didn’t do? and the one who did it had the nerve to be mad at how he found happiness in Natasha…no. too many things annoyed me for me to enjoy this as much as i wanted to

Dre and Tash have officially become my favorite couple in this Series. After reading Bunny, I wasn’t sure the direction I was headed. This book was just as layered and complex as the others in this series. Rae Lyse has a brilliant mind and she’s masterful with a pen. She weaves these intricate layers throughout the plot and her characters. We readers get to painstakingly peel back and unravel each layer one at a time. I really loved Andre’s maturity and the maturity of this couple in general. Andre was definitely his brother’s keeper and I’m glad for the support system he had from his thirty crew. He was still taking care of everything and everyone when they should have been taking care of him. Andre and Tash were a very unlikely couple but sometimes you get the best surprises in the most unlikely people and settings. Tash is what they mean when you can’t judge a book by its cover. I loved her ability to morph into that big girl she professed to be in the beginning. Oh Antoinette, I hate that a character with my same name was complete trash in here. More often than not kids wear the scars of their parents. I’m usually not an advocate of men “handling their women” but Thomas get your woman. Last but not least Dri, lil mama deserves the world. I think her character had more common sense than the adults in the book. I’m glad that they were standing ten toes down for her and Journey.

Thirty More Reasons to Love This Author

As an public school educator, you gotta love it when an author reaches beyond her circle to pour out so much truth about how our kids are lost in a system meant to keep them down. There are so many lessons that grabs your attention and it definitely makes you reflect.

This Series is not one to be rushed! Rae writes every single word that's necessary to convey this story! Andre aka Dre has so much on his shoulders, but he handles it all so gracefully. Love, parenthood, co-parenting, friendship, and a world that chooses to constantly judge him for what they believe is the truth. He sacrifices himself for reasons that's admirable. Through it all, he manges to ensure his baby girl won't be subjected to the struggles he experienced.

This is a highly recommended read that Rae poured her heart into! Outstanding!

what an incredible journey

Rae Lyse owes me absolutely NOTHING! She did her entire thing on the entire Sun series. I’m throwing flowers 💐

Dre …. I wonder how much room in that pocket because I want in. The true Mr. Everything. He had me intrigued since Endgame. I’m so happy we got to truly meet him.

Dri was too much! I just loved that little girl. She was soooo wise for her age and I loved the relationship she had with her father although he’d been away.

5 star series all around… and I’m with everyone else… We want Nuney!

This author continues to exceed expectations as she continues to release her works. The way she provides depth to her characters allowing you to feel as they feel is a gift. You will not always agree with the decisions of the characters but you will understand...great character development. Dre is not your average or stereotypical Black male even though his circumstances will make you assume that he is. Dre is a man of wisdom loyal, and a voice that needs to be elevated in the land that Black men need love and protection too. Natasha was a complicated soul who longed to be seen and heard. Imagine having an outgoing personality and being seen as a source of jokes while dying on the inside. Dre and Natsha were each other's peace but getting to that reality comfortably was a journey. I adore Dri and had to ask myself is she really that young? This book was my favorite in the series and I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

I’m so tired of Rae Lyse.
Why is she like this????????
I hate her so good man.
I’m back in the fold with them dirty thirty 🥷🏾s.
I read the sun series in the wrong order. After his cameos in For The Night as Nuney’s ace boon I knew I had to read his story. It. Did. Not. Disappoint.

Andre doing a bid for a crime committed when he was 16, had accepted his fate to spend the rest of his life in prison, until he was granted clemency and set free into a world he knew nothing about as a grown man.
You follow him as he solidifies his role in the family as the fixer, but who’s going to fix him?

Rae’s writing style pulls you in and won’t let up. The detail. The subtle twists that you never see coming. The breadcrumbs. The character evolution throughout the book. Chef’s kiss.

5 stars.

Poetic Justice

Rae Lyse is a prolific author with the innate ability to pen a profound and beautifully written stories in a way that feels effortless and authentic.

In this poignant story of redemption, she tells Andre and Natasha journey of survival in a way that doesn’t diminish their fortitude and humanizes their vulnerability.

Andre and Natasha may have usurped Dominic and Claudette as my favorite couple in the Sun series. Read this book and see if you agree?

It was nice to see Andre's story in this book since he was brought up in The End Game. We got to see how he acclimated to being back in the "free world" after spending six years in prison and also got to see into his perspective as to how things were before he went to prison.

When Andre first locked eyes with Natasha it was clear there was an attraction there on both parts but Natasha was trying to downplay it at first. I was happy that she was there for him because her personality allowed her to just go with the flow and not judge his situation. Natasha and Andre both lived in the "grey" and while it caused them to form a little bubble and not always think about the consequences of things, it also brought them closer together because they thought a lot the same. I did think Josiah was being a little hypocritical but I was happy the situation that occurred with them was resolved. I was happy that Natasha got herself together so that she could get her man and they were mutually able to express their love for each other.

Overall I thought this was an enjoyable read. I liked Andre and Natasha together and it was nice catching up with the other members of the Thirty crew.

What an end to what has been, quite possibly, my favorite series ever. Over the course of thesse four books, it hasn't felt like i've just been reading about four different characters and their life, friends, family, and struggles. Its felt like i've been reading about MY FAMILY and their lives, friends, and struggles.

I was just telling a friend of mine the other day about how I really love the DEPTH that Rae Lyse pours into these books. These stories aren't just surface level for me. These stories and characters embed themselves into my heart and mind and stay there so that i'm thinking about them, hours, days, weeks, and even months after i've flipped the final page.

I still think about Dominic and wonder if he's finally accepted that he's "made it" that he's relatively safe, that he's one step closer from being able to just live and breathe. I think about my heart, Josiah CONSTANTLY - and hope that he's staying focused and that he's working towards forgiving himself for the shit that he had to deal with and do to survive the literal warzone that he was raised in. I wonder about Dezzy and if he finally realizes and understands that he is not only ENOUGH, but worthy of everything he could ever want or dream of. And now i'll be adding Andre to the fold as well. Hoping that he doesn't get stuck, that he finds happiness, peace and solace in the fact that the sacrifices he made, have ultimately resulted in a way out for them all.

And its not just about the boys either, I carry them ALL with me now. And that is a testatment to how AMAZING of an author and writer Rae Lyse is.

I know this review isn't really about Thirty, Andre or Natasha in particular. But it doesn't really need to be. If you've made it this far in this series, you KNOW the book is good, because Rae doesn't miss. I just wanted to take this time, at the end of this journey, to reflect on the amazing story telling of this author and for this series as a whole because MAN is it hard to come by.

What I will specifically say though, is that Andre's story ALMOST had me questioning if he was going to take Josiah's spot as My Heart....and while he came very close - because I now see that a lot of who Josiah is, is a result of who Andre molded him to be - Josiah is still the baby of the group and so my heart bleeds just a teensy bit more for him. But you know what, there's room for them all in my heart! eff it! lol

Anyway...i'm done rambling....amazing stories. Amazing people. Just all around Amazing. I'm almost sad that it's over. Excited to see what else Raw has in store for us though.

I’m so sad this series is over!! I fell in love with each of the men from these books. I still can’t decide who I love the most. I can’t figure out how to properly articulate my love for this series. It was so well done. It was beautiful, sad, gritty, chaotic and full of love. I think the two main themes in this series are loyalty and family.

This story is centered around Andre. We got a glimpse of who Andre was in Endgame through his phone calls with his best friend, Josiah. Dre was serving a life sentence for murder. At 16, he sacrificed his life to save his brother and his family. Six years later, he’s released due to a new clemency law. We get to see his journey on the outside. We see him try to reacclimate to his new life. Upon his release he’s struggles with anxiety, insecurities and all the issues that plague former offends. On his first day out, the universe brings him Natasha.

Natasha is a wildcard. She’s carefree, curious and brazen. She’s a lost girl trying to find herself. When she meets Dre, the connection between them is instant. I’m so thankful that we get the chance to see into their world. Their love is almost palpable. It’s truly a beautiful thing to witness.

Dre is the calmest and most levelheaded of the Thirty family. His way with words, his aura, and the way he thinks “in grey” could easily make any woman fall for him. He does whatever it takes to take care of his family. He’s their voice of reason, their strength when they have none and the one they know would lay down his life for them without hesitation. He’s Mr. Everything.

holy SHIT this was good!!

Wow! Wow! Wooooowwwww!!!

This was hands down the BEST book of the series!

I can’t even express how much I loved this story. It will definitely be a re-read for me. I LOVED Andre and Natasha.

Although, she was mentioned a bit in Josiah’s and Jade’s story- it wasn’t enough for me to have much of an opinion. But I did remember not liking how Jade and Kristen described her sexuality. I just didn’t know if it was intentional or the authors bias. Well, glad to know it was intentional as a running issue in this book.

I loved the storyline, I loved the topic of sexuality being on a spectrum. And for it to be addressed in this manner with this type of character (Andre)… stereotypical hood guy. Who is expected to be homophobic and disrespectful and all the things associated with that type of ignorance.

What a love story! I could go on and on. The slow building of more. Healing each other through acceptance. It was so much.

Top 5 read of 2022 for me and most definitely the BEST of the series!!! So glad I read it.

Oh and the narrators for the audiobook were great!

What a Finale!

It is hard to have a series where every book is not just good but soul wrenching good. You see this Sunflower Series finale book? Rae took the best from Saving Sunflower, The Endgame, and Bunny and put it all in this book and I'm in awe. In the previous books, I sat with angst just waiting to see what happened to Dominic, Josiah, and Desmond and how they navigated their worlds. But, something was different about Andre and how his burdens seem to be a culmination of so much. Having to navigate such a huge responsibility in taking a sentence for some sh*t you didn't do but had to take the fall for in the name of family, to being granted a second chance and having to deal with the balance between acclimating yourself to the real world and true love at the same time. & I know this series is about them Thirty's boys, but Tasha needed her Dre just as much as he needed her. & we gotta give it up to the true star of this show, Audrianna. Sometimes my heart hurt for how grown she's had to be throughout this whole process, but I can only hope that now that someone is there to take care of her daddy, she can salvage what's left of her innocence and enjoy her childhood. Rae, thank you for another thought provoking experience; one that only you can deliver.

***I probably shouldn’t start this review like this but I’m feeling like getting a Thirty tattoo in the immediate future! ***
I was given the opportunity to read this book before its release date and I’m still not sure how this review will go because as usual Rae Lyse has a way with words that always touch me and leave me slightly disoriented with all that I have experienced!
Andre and Tash were everything!!! The connection between these two was so impactful. The way Rae Lyse wrote this slow burn (something I’m not usually here for) had me realizing at 70% that no sex had occurred and when it did, I was taken aback lol! There was so much happening in this book and yet none of it was confusing and everything worked seamlessly. Although Dre and Tash were the main characters in this book Audriana was my favorite character, I have loved her since meeting her in The Endgame but with this book her bold yet adorable personality was able to shine and let me just say she will be a force in the future!
The way this book had me crying, yelling, clapping, cussing and smiling through it! Rae Lyse always touches me in deeper parts and I love everything about her! I can’t wait to see what masterpiece she produces next!

I have finally finished The Sun Series by Rae Lyse.

These books were so long - they rivaled Love Belvin's stories lol.

Anyway, I wrote a complete review of the series here, which was a bit presumptuous for me. I completely forgot that the author wrote "Thirty."

In my opinion, this story wasn't 100% necessary to me, while it was good to learn about Dre, I wasn't invested in Natasha's character at all. The real story was about Dre and his relationships with his father, Cory, and Natasha...but we don't really get that. We meet Cory briefly and I don't think the character is done much justice, unfortunately.

This book is a solid love story about family ties, sacrifice, and growing up in a world that doesn't see value in you.

Final rating: 3.75 stars

THE 30 WAY!!!

Dre & Tash.. that’s it man..

Dre’s story pulled me in from page one! Coming home after years away, trying to find his place again, and still showing up as a father, friend, and protector. His relationship with Natasha felt natural, like they were exactly what each other needed, and little Dri Dri? She lit up every scene she was in. She was the real star of the book.

On the outside, he’s cool and collected. On the inside, he’s just trying to figure out where he fits in his old world now.

Meeting Natasha changes everything for him. They’re two people learning how to navigate life’s black-and-white moments together, and the way their connection unfolded felt so real. Dre didn’t deserve the hand he was dealt.

Loved this story so much and as someone who thought she loved Josiah and Jade story the most, I fear Tash and Dre might’ve won me over.

Natasha x Andre

When you find your peace in a world filled with chaos, you can navigate your challenges and obstacles more effectively. That’s exactly what Natasha was for Andre. Their meeting wasn’t by chance. It was necessary and inevitable because she was his calm….his peace….and he desperately needed it after spending 6 years in prison all while in survival mode. They might’ve come from totally different backgrounds , but deep down they were the same, just trying to find a place where they could be accepted without all the judgment surrounding his past and her lifestyle.

This story wasn’t just about friendships, but it was about loyalty and family….and not just the ones you’re born into, but ones that you choose. The loyalty and bond within the Thirty family is unmatched!

This was an immersive reading experience and the narration gave life to these characters.

Rae did it again!! Every book, I fall deeper and deeper into my adoration for this family/group of friends. Listen, I’m locked in with the Thirty boys. Loved getting to meet Dre, “The Protector.” The brotherhood between the men in this series gets me emotional every time. Dre was almost like an enigma up until this point so it was good to be able put all of these traits and a personality to the name.

There is so much to unpack with what Dre experienced coming home but to see him navigating his new normal through the lens of his lessons from Rahim, Cory, and Ms. Jacobs was so touching. I absolutely loved how Rae did that. Underneath it all…the sacrifices he made…the role he plays as the protector in the friend group…being a father and provider…he still was a young man trying to figure it out.

I loved getting to know Natasha as well. She was the yin to Dre’s yang. One of my favorite things about Rae Lyse’s stories is how layered her characters are. There is so much more to Natasha than what meets the eye. Through her falling for Dre we get to see her healing old wounds that even those closest to her didn’t know about. Their connection also led to such much needed emotional unpacking with JoJo and Dre.

This was a heavy one at times. I cried, even but really enjoyed Tash and Dre.

I'm in awe!!!

It's the Thirty way or no way!!! The energy began Dre and Natasha leaped off of the pages. Keeping up with the Drenglish was a highlight for me. These characters really took a hold of you and shook you until you had their undivided attention! I've never been more sad to see The End!
