A Solid, and Exciting Read, Form The First to the Last Page. Recommended.
As an ARC Reader I had the opportunity to read a pre-release copy of this book, and that is what my review is based upon.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and have followed it religiously since I read the first book. It is well written, error free, and the story hold your interest. I had thought the author was ending this series several books ago, but I'm am grateful to see that it is continuing and will continuing reading it either as an ARC/Beta Reader, (if the author keeps me), or through purchase, which explains why I HIGHLY Recommend this book and this series.

Slightly different to the usual
Still the usual bad guys, but this time someone from rekers past
As with many of this type of book, the baddies can't shoot to save their lives, literally, but it would be nice that once in a while an author realised that if a 1000 rounds rare fired, even the worst shot on the planet is going to hit something
As to capturing your adversary and then just talking to them, yeah right. In this guy the bad guy captures people talks to them for ages and still only roughs them up enough to have bruised ribs
He was supposed to be super intelligent and completely brutal.

A different sort of story this time for the Silencer team when Recker sees someone while on his way for lunch who he thinks he recognises, but who shouldn't be alive because he was one of Recker targets in his previous life. The story is full of twists and turns and action while Recker wonders if he really saw what he thought he did. Very good variation on the norm.

Love this series!
This was not as good as some of the others in the series! I enjoyed reading this anyway! It was a little different from the usual silencer story!

Execution File will likely go down as one of my favorite books in The Silencer saga. Beginning the story with Recker seeing someone by a chance that he thought he had killed nine years ago while on aa mission with the CIA to take him down was a great way to start this story. It dove into Recker's past on an assignment he thought completed as the target was a monster and hitman from Croatia who had no problem killing innocent people or those who betray his trust including their entire families. The problem is, that every lead to verify this person is actually alive lead to nowhere at every step. Did Recker really see him or is he going nuts as the trauma of everything he's been through both the CIA and as the Silencer finally catching up with him?
This novel had all of the elements that I enjoy in the Silencer saga, the suspense, mystery, intrigue action and teamwork between Recker and Haley that makes the Silencer Team work. This is one of Mike Ryan's best and is highly recommended.
