Holly Hook is the author of the Destroyers Series, which consists of five young adult books about teens who are walking disasters...literally. She is also the author of the Rita Morse series, a young adult fantasy series still in progress, and After These Messages, a short ya comedy. Currently she is writing Twisted, a spin-off of the Destroyers Series due out in December. When not writing, she enjoys reading books for teens, especially ya fantasy and paranormal series with a unique twist.

Great Story

I love all things supernatural and mythological. This author has combined the two for a great story. I love how the Paranormal "romance" was so light in the romance department, just enough to quench your thirst and not too much to be annoyed.
My only reason for three stars and not more is the terrible editing that was done. I'm an English teacher and tutor, and I struggled with the multiple sentences or partial sentences repeating, sometimes a full paragraph repeated. There were quite a few sentences that looked like the thought started one way, and the author changed her mind but did not delete all of the unwanted words.
I think these books are a really good start, though. The author just needs a better editor and/or proofreader. I'm available! 😉

Up All Night with Hook’s Supernatural Squad
Confession: I stayed up till 4AM finishing the last book in this box set—and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. The Supernaturals Underground Series is everything I crave in a binge-worthy fantasy: quirky magic, sweet teen romance, and a good-over-evil arc that hits all the right notes.
Holly Hook knows how to keep the pace flying and the stakes high. Each book pulls you deeper into the underground world of supernatural misfits, and the romance thread adds just the right amount of heart. It’s messy, magical, and totally addictive.
I loved every twist, every triumph, and every moment of “just one more chapter.” Can’t wait to dive into the next box set!
