How can your young child not enjoy this cute little book about a polar bear out of his normal habitat. It's a nicely illustrated story of friendship that would make a good bedtime read. I won a copy of this book in a Goodreads giveaway for this honest review.
I won this book in a Goodreads Giveaway! It was such an adorable story and my children absolutely loved it! One night, one of my children was kind of fussy and she called me into her room and asked if I would read the book again. So I did and she calmed down and was able to sleep after that. My kids have requested for me to reread this book quite a few times so I give it 5 stars! Thank you Christer Hägglund for my copy!
I recommend this book. Very touching and great book to read to your child . Teaches about other animals environments . I won this book on goodreads giveaways. Can’t wait to read this to my sister’s kids
Cute story about a polar bear drifting away to far away lands. Read this to my 4 year old and he loved it. The illustrations were great, and the text was easy to follow. 5 stars because my kid said "again!" when it was over.
Rupert is a polar bear who lives in the cold North and has a knack for fishing. One day, he falls asleep and drifts away on a sheet of ice far away. When he wakes up, he finds himself on a strange island and is accompanied by a jaguar named Dot. Not content with the heat and lack of snow, Rupert wants to go home. Read the rest of the story to discover what happens.
The text and the illustrations are perfect for this story. They are easy for a child to read and understand. The pictures are colorful and straightforward, too.
This short story is simple at its best. I disagree with any other reviewer who gives this book anything less than a four-star rating.
I like how the text and the pictures paired well with each other.
The ending is quite enjoyable and will leave kids and adults alike wanting more.
