Elspeth Duff has never recovered from the loss of her college fiancé Malcolm. He was cruelly murdered during their collegiate years, a few hours after their engagement.

After more than 30 years, Elspeth, using her detective skills from her Scotland Yard days and her sharpened abilities honed as the head of security for the fabulous, famous Kenni grin hotels, she decides to chase down the murderer of her first love, and the resulting story is remarkable in its intensity and detail.

The writer is a remarkable storyteller and I was glued to my kindle until I finished the novel, stunned by the villain reveal and astonished by its ending and an absolutely worthwhile read
