What do we do when we feel that the little things we do in life are insignificant? In our bigger and better-striving world, it is a refreshing revelation that even the most minor things we do are essential. Through her devotional, A Little Goes a Long Way: 52 Days to a Significant Life, devotions, you will see how little things go a long way in God’s hands. This book is a refreshing breath of encouragement. Rachael covers everything under what we may consider little
and where we discover these little moments impact through personal stories and Biblical application. At the end of each devotion is a little task and prayer prompt to help us ponder and apply the little to our little. Take away here is
that all our little moments in life are significant to God, and He will use each one of them.
As I read A Little Goes a Long Way, I found I had been questioning the little things in my life too. Did I matter to my family, at work, or to friends? And as it always is with God, these daily devotions are just what I needed, showing me how the little things I do impact those around me. These devotions are helping me to be thankful for the little things in life that God has placed before me and given me. Opening and refreshing my eyes and mind to His daily wonder.
What we learn here is it is our choice whether to fall into discouragement, thinking our work pointless, or to believe and trust that God will use our work no matter how small we may think it is.

This devo book is chocked full of gentle, holy reminders that our mundane matters. We start to believe and feel that God is working even, maybe especially, in the smallness of our lives. We start to understand that we are just a tiny part of God’s Big Story. And we start to trust that He will be the multiplier, not us. Every hurried heart who has ever questioned how to practically make a difference in the Kingdom will be relieved and inspired by Rachael’s beautiful stories and unique insights.

Every person longs to live a significant life, but so often it feels like a goal that’s always just out of reach as we juggle our busy lives and our insufficiencies. In “A Little Goes a Long Way,” Rachael Adams assures us we already have all we need to live a life that matters. She invites us to offer up the little we have to God and awaken to the miracle that He is in the business of multiplying small things that are offered up in faith. The short, daily devotions have been encouraging me to be faithful and faith-full in the little ways, and I am already watching God turn it into much. I plan to order some extra copies in the beautiful imitation-leather to give to friends to encourage them through the coming winter!

I have found this book to be so inspiring and convicting at the same time. I think when we want to grow in our relationship with God and others we always think it has to be some big grand gesture. when really it's all the little things. Those little things accumulate and help you as a person and as a child of God. The author does such an amazing job adding her personal stories and touch to each devotion, so you really feel like you are getting to know her. Plus the stories are so relatable. I find myself nodding my head along with her. I love that there is a daily prayer prompt that really keeps me focused. I can't wait to read the rest of it! We can live a significant life, one little step at a time.

If ever you’ve felt small, insignificant, and ordinary, this devotional is a must-read!!! Rachael sheds light on how beautiful our small is when we place it willingly in God’s hands. He can take our little bit of time, our embracing an interruption, our hand-written note, our few dollars and use it to touch others around us in deep, healing ways.

I found myself nodding along and saying many a silent “amen!” as I read. I also found the lists at the end super helpful.

This book is PERFECT for those who love to give meaningful, life-changing gifts. It’s also a kind gift to give yourself, so you may just want to grab a few extra copies!

Significant. That’s the simple reminder woven into these pages. We shouldn’t fear the minuscule or mundane because everything adds up. Everything is significant through Him. Perhaps there’s a far bigger picture. Also, perhaps we are far more significant than we realize, including the duties we face. Big or small, a little bit goes a long way. From inviting someone over or making a small gesture, you never know how powerful simplicity holds.

“A Little Goes A Long Way” is a book I needed to read, coming at the perfect time. Even when we feel small, the book includes tasks, prayers, and personal reflections. As the title reads, a little does go a long way. Rachael’s words are simple and short but deeply sweet and encouraging.

Rachael covers many relatable topics. I find myself highlighting at least one takeaway and quote from each devotion. I know it’s going to be a book I always go back to, as it’s timeless and so needed in this world today.

I am more grateful throughout the day and eagerly awaiting the next devotion. Not only do I feel more centered, but I also feel God speaking to me in new ways. I am significant, and the work I do is significant, even if it doesn’t seem like it on certain days. This book is a must-read! If you're feeling lost or need a Biblical, uplifting perspective, this book will be a breath of fresh air every day.

Rachael Adams' marvelous A Little Goes a Long Way: 52 Days to a Significant Life is a joyful, life-giving, faith-building book. In 52 devotions (plus extra goodies in the back of the book), Rachael starts with the words, "A Little...," finishing them with wonderful words that open life and the Bible for its readers. For example, you'll find that phrase followed by words like "belief," "preparation," "meal," "celebration," "kindness," "seed," and forgiveness." And 45 other words!

In these devotions, Rachael shares Bible characters and their stories. Bible verses that will make a difference in your life. And bits and pieces of her own life and journey. All told in her kind, fun, and faithful voice.

I have loved every moment I've spent in this devotional. I recommend it highly to you, believing you'll have the same lovely and encouraging experience!

I received a copy of this book from the author. All opinions shared here are my own honest ones.

I have spent the last two years watching the world zoom past me as my pace slowed due to multiple life-threatening illnesses. There are days I question my significance.

Then along comes a book like Rachael's devotional. Sitting with her book daily is like sitting with a dear friend giving me reminders of a God who uses our small ordinary moments to reflect His extraordinary love and grace. Her personal stories woven seamlessly with biblical accounts, gives me fresh perspective and hope.

I appreciate the daily task and prayer prompt at the end of each devotion. They were simple, not overwhelming, yet help dig the truth of each devotion a little deeper.
This book is the gentle whisper we all need in a world screaming in their search for significance.
