Oh man, how I wish I had this book when I was growing up as an Admin! It's never too late to learn, though, haha!
Jodi shares truly amazing Salesforce content from an Admin's perspective in such an easy way to understand, and it's so flippin' practical!
Even though the book is not a guide on Salesforce, Jodi walks the Salesforce Admin through potential and realistic scenarios one might encounter on their job. Between the Talk Tracks (sample questions), Pro Tips, Do's, and Don'ts, you could legitimately walk away with multiple things you could take action on and implement in your workflow.
If I were teaching Salesforce as a course to other Admins, then Rock your Role as a Salesforce Admin would be required reading!
TL; DR: A must-read for all Salesforce Administrators, no matter what level you are in your career!

A must-read for newer Salesforce Admins/Business Analysts or for those who have been in the Salesforce ecosystem for several years. This book provides insights on ways to avoid burnout, ask quality questions, and how to become more than an order taker. It provides practical and concrete advice in regards to getting to the root of business needs, communicating effectively with stakeholders, creating value added salesforce solutions, and balancing your workload by using trade-offs. I really enjoyed the Dos and Don'ts, Pro Tips, and Talk Tracks sections as well. Highly recommend!

Essential Read for All #AwesomeAdmins
This book was purchased as part of a book club at my employer. I am eternally grateful to both the purchaser and the author. I have gained so much insight and added so many tools to my toolbox that it's impossible to quantity. I highly recommend this book to everyone, regardless of where they are in their Salesforce journey.

Jodi did an amazing job with her book "Rock your Role as a Salesforce Admin: Create Value, Calm the Chaos, and Supercharge your Salesforce Career."
While reading this book, I couldn't help but desire to open my work laptop and apply what Jodi shared. Removing myself from the McAdmin role and becoming a superstar are things that I really needed to hear. My only problem with this book is that I didn't read it earlier in my career! Truthfully, if I were a Manager, I would have all of my team members read this.
I will likely read this book again, as it not only gave me motivation but taught me valuable lessons about how to "Rock my role."
Jodi's book is deserving of 5 stars because it is well-written, motivational, and extremely valuable in the practical tips for excelling in our role as admins.

As an Admin with years of mid-level experience soon starting her first senior role, this was and fantastic read. I took tons of notes and absorbed many of the words of wisdom the author shared. I found it VERY relatable and practical. I especially liked the "Estimation Equation" and tips on saying no/preventing scope creep.
I'll be referring back to this and recommending to my Salesforce Admin peers!

Everything here is phenomenal and covers exactly what you need to know as a beginner or advanced admin.
If I could though, I'd do a 4.5/5 because of the Margaret Thatcher and lobbyist references- but we'll give Jodi the benefit of the doubt.

Read this right after I got my first job offer as a salesforce admin. Incredibly helpful and I am glad I read it when I did. I feel like this definitely pushed me into the right mindset to be successful and has proven to be correct so far.

Very practical tips and hacks for someone already has some experience with Salesforce platform. This is not a study book for the platform or something for a total beginner.

The way Jodi approaches the admin role is amazing. I would highly suggest reading and having a pen ready to underline and take notes because I am going to use a ton of these insights!
