Si alguien te gusta, debes deberías perseguirlo con valentía. Si no te esfuerzas lo lamentarás en un futuro
⠀⠀⠀Me enamoré de la serie.
⠀⠀⠀Me enamoré del libro.
⠀⠀⠀Si bien la historia es bastante sencilla y muy típica, la forma en la que todo se desarrolla, más los personajes, hacen que todo sea fantastico e inolvidable.
⠀⠀⠀Primero está Zhou Shu Yi, un chico de dinero que aunque muestra un caracter fuerte es bastante tierno. Me encanta ver como se muestra con sus amigos y piensa en ellos antes de él mismo. También no teme dar la mano por los que necesiten, aún por la persona que ha "odiado" desde pequeño.
Representado por el hermoso, precioso, adorable y magnifico Yang Yu Teng.
⠀⠀⠀Luego Gao Shi De, quien está enamorado de esa persona que lo "odia" desde la infancia. Quien ahora consiguió la manera de poder acercarse a él para que, por lo menos unos cuantos meses, puedan formar una amistad (porque se conformaría solo con eso) hasta que ambos se graduen.
Representado por por el bellísimo, divertido, "caras locas" y coqueto Lin Zi Hong(que su actuación fue wow wow)
Ambos formatos me gustaron mucho, ver y leer We Best Love me ha fascinado. Sin embargo, aunque fue mejor aquí por los detalles que en la serie no se pueden apreciar admito que tuve mucha dificultad con la lectura ya que la forma en la que está escrita no fue de mi completo agrado.
Pdta: me quiero tatura el dai dai dai daisuki.

What does it feel like to always be in 2nd place? Ever since Gao Shi De (高仕德) entered Zhou Shu Yi’s (周書逸) life, the no. 1 spot has never been his again. From elementary school to junior high to high school, Gao Shi De is always 1 step ahead of him in first place and Zhou Shu Yi is perpetually second. Because of this, Shu Yi is excited to enter university and get away from his unbeatable rival. But who knew that Shi De would transfer to the same university in his 2nd year? The frustrated Shu Yi does not know why Shi De keeps following him and is entirely oblivious to the fact that Shi De has always only had eyes for him.
I am 1 year late to the WBL party! This is season 1 of a Taiwanese BL drama “We Best Love”. Its novel was adapted from the drama and released after the show aired. The English title is “No. 1 For You” but the Chinese title actually means “Forever No. 1”. I loved the drama so much I bought the ebook. This review touches on both the drama and the novel.
The story flow in the novel differed slightly from the drama and included scenes/dialogues that did not make it into the show, especially for the side characters. The novelization of the drama was done by Yu Chen Huan 羽宸寰. The writing is quite good and true to the drama.
I really enjoyed how the childhood rivalry between the two eventually turned into a romance that Gao Shi De previously thought would never be possible. I’ve gotta say this, the actor who played Gao Shi De, Sam Lin 林子閎, was AMAZING. His expression of initial disbelief that slowly transited to unbelievable relief and happiness was so well portrayed when his unrequited feelings of many years were finally reciprocated 🥺 He is also insanely good-looking. Yu 楊宇騰, who played Shu Yi also did a really great job for a new actor! And he sings really well! 水藍色情人 ❤️
Also, Shi De’s mum. I was very touched by her amazing support and acceptance of their relationship
I relished the extra insight from the novel, particularly the development between 劉秉偉 and 石哲宇, and 裴守一’s tragic backstory, but I absolutely LOVED the drama! The actors had fantastic chemistry and the cinematography was 👍🏻 With just 6 short episodes and a special, I binged the entire season in 1 night.

Gao ShiDe y Zhou ShuYi son rivales desde el quinto grado… o al menos eso piensa ShuYi, quien siempre lo ha visto como su directo competidor que no le permite sobresalir ni en lo académico ni en lo extracurricular. La verdad es que Gao ShiDe está enamorado y la única forma en la que puede obtener la atención de ShuYi es ganándole en todo.
Esta novela está basada en la primera temporada de la serie “We Best Love” (que pueden encontrar en WeTV con subtítulos) y nos narra, de manera más mas detallada que en la serie, los eventos que ya conocemos (al igual que el capítulo especial). Volví a estos personajes mientras espero la tercera temporada y me volví a enamorar de ellos y su historia al leer sus interacciones y el desarrollo de su relación. Además, encontré ciertos detalles con relación a los amigos de ambos, el inicio de la pareja secundaria y en general una visión más amplia de la sentimientos y el trasfondo de Gao ShiDe, volviéndolo un personaje más complejo y con un backstory mejor establecido… ya era mi personaje favorito y ahora lo es más.
Se me hizo una grata sorpresa leer sobre el origen de la dificultad (?) emocional de Pei ShouYi y que no es solamente un recurso desesperado de la serie por justificar su distancia emocional, sino que tiene una verdadera razón de ser y existir.
Le pondré 4.5 de 5 porque en algunos momentos el autor apela mucho al conocimiento previo que tiene el lector de la serie.

No sé si fue la traducción, pero se me hizo un tanto descuidado en cómo fue escrito. Muchas cosas de la historia no se encuentran bien descritas, sobre todo al momento de hablar sobre los personajes.
We Best Love es una de mis series favoritas, así que no me arrepiento para nada de haber leído el libro, a pesar de que no ha sido de lo mejor.
Gao Shide y Zhou Shuyi deben ser protegidos a toda costa >.< Los amo con todo mi corazón y fue como ver las escenas de la serie pasar frente a mis ojos mientras leía; yo creo que por eso disfruté tanto y leeré la segunda parte.
"It wasn't a joke when I said I like you. You said that the person I'm in love with is very lucky to be loved by me. It is a pity that you will never know that luck has always belonged to you… Zhou Shu Yi, I like you."
We Best Love es una de mis series favoritas, así que no me arrepiento para nada de haber leído el libro, a pesar de que no ha sido de lo mejor.

The only saving point for this book is that it's a very easy read.
Otherwise, it's just so so badly written. If I hadn't already watched the series in which this book is based, I wouldn'thave understood half the things that were being said.
The author had such an easy job to do: transform a screenplay into a novel. The plot was there, the characters were there, they just needed to translate it into a different format. But what they did was just badly describe what was happening on the screen, except they didn't even do a good job at that.
Anyway, if you consider reading this book: don't. Watch the series instead.

Một câu chuyện thanh xuân bình thường nhưng đẹp đẽ. Ai trong chúng ta cũng có thể có một thời thanh xuân như vậy. Cùng nói, cùng cười, cùng khóc, cùng thích, cùng đau lòng,... Ngây thơ thuở niên thiếu chưa dứt, cay đắng buổi trưởng thành chưa sang.
Đây chỉ một câu chuyện về những cậu trai tuổi thanh niên, bình dị và bình thường, không đao to búa lớn, cũng không phải tình yêu chết đi sống lại đến oanh liệt.

Yeah, tiểu thuyết chuyển thể từ phim là thứ mình sẽ không bao giờ mua nữa. Kiểu không khác gì tác giả coi phim xong ngồi kể lại cho bạn cả, văn phong quá tệ hại.
Được 2- sao vì có mấy cái ngoại truyện của nhân vật phụ cứu. Thật ra mình mua sách cũng chỉ vì lý do này nhưng mà vẫn không đáng, sau này xin chừa.

Este libro me devolvió a la serie, sólo que con mucha más profundidad de sentimiento y pensamiento por parte de los protagonistas. Me encantó.
