In the mood for a man who is a little more complicated... We have two for you! The Mac Brothers. Sworn to Fun...Loyal to None. They have everything. But Love. Confidence. Attitudes. Tattoos. Rules. For every bad boy, there's a good girl who ignores the rules.
Behind cocky grins and tattoos, the Mac have huge hearts hidden beneath their beliefs about noncommitment. Their journey to happily ever after might be as rocky as the coastline of their luxurious beach resort, but it’s definitely worth the trip.
Aaron MacDonald has one rule. Three times with one woman will never happen and would only complicate his life. When a wedding party arrives at his resort, his rule is challenged when he gets involved with a woman who wants to write an article about the two hot bachelor brothers. It's business as usual for her until the seduction begins and they vie to be in control. She has the same rule of two and done. What happens when their limit is up and they've already fallen for the other?
Donnan MacDonald lives by the rule of being a carefree playboy. Unlike his brother who has built a career for himself, he's played the field all across the world. But the condition of the brother's inheritance of the beach resort keeps them in Highland Bay for a year. A bachelorette party at the resort is about to keep Donnan there even longer. His brother hadn't expected him to stay in one place and surely didn't expect to be asked to officiate Donnan's marriage. What happens when there's literally--a shot-gun wedding?
What the two brothers have in common...besides being sexy as hell...these bad boys never expected to fall in love. But sometimes with love, there's always complications.
Join us in Highland Bay for a sexy seaside escape!

She lives in a hundred-year-old house that she grew up in. Her semi-small town holds an interesting mix of resident hillbillies, yuppies and Navy Seals. And of course Seattle, only a few miles away, is the birthplace of Starbucks so coffee is always on the checklist. She blows glass beads with a blow torch, (which relieves a lot of stress and people don't bother you). Jenni watches and reads all genres of movies and books and loves to lose herself in a good plot.
I have read a few books from Angela before but Jennifer is a new to me author. Honestly I could not tell who wrote which storyline as the two stories wove together so well throughout the whole book. Both Aaron and Donnan were great characters to read, and at the start of the book they are both set in their current lifestyles. Meeting Elsie & Emina made them rethink everything they thought they wanted for their futures and it was so beautiful to read them both fall hard and fast. Great characters and exceptional writing made this a very enjoyable book to read and I hope these two authors collaborate again. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book
With the death of their father, the four sons are asked to return to Highland Bay to hear the reading of the will. It will come with surprises that the brothers never knew about and is worth exploring. Will it be something that these two brothers can join in together and do work, and bring them back together again? Summertime just got a whole lot hotter in Highland Bay at Seaside Escape Resort.
Seaside Seduction (The Mac Brothers #1) by Angela Ford RULES WERE MADE TO BE BROKEN
Aaron MacDonald is the oldest of the Mac brothers, the one that had to grow and take care of his younger brothers and be the adult after their Mom abandoned them and their father quit being responsible. When he returns to Highland Bay, a place he couldn’t wait to leave when he was younger, it will come with memories and unexpected news—an abandoned lodge, started by their grandfather, and left for the boys. Now decisions for their future will need to be decided.
Aaron has rules he adheres to with women; he likes them submissive, and he has a two-times rule, and then it ends. He doesn’t have time for relationships and doesn’t want complications. Then the first wedding is booked into the newly opened Seaside Escape Resort, and he meets Elsie Chisholm.
Elsie is the maid of honor and sister to Katie, and her wedding will be the first for the resort. Elsie lives and works in New York and is making partner in Modern Woman magazine. She will feature the new resort and MacDonald brothers in the next issue. Elsie is a woman who knows her sexuality and what she wants but has a no-commitment rule; it is all fun and done.
The plot will have two people, both very career-oriented, meeting at the Seaside Resort for a wedding. Elsie and Aaron both feel an instant sexual attraction. Can they enjoy the sexual chemistry for a little fling, part ways, and then go back to business as usual?
The chemistry between Aaron and Elsie sizzles off the pages when they come together. Each will discover a little give and take that adds to their explosive encounters. The story is a steamy romance, with detailed descriptions of their sexual intimacy.
Seaside Playboy (The Mac Brothers #2) by Jennifer Conner A CHAIN IS ONLY AS STRONG AS THE WEAKEST LINK
Donnan MacDonald has a reputation for being a playboy. He has enjoyed life, living carefree, but deep down, he is ready for stability. With the death of his father, and a trip back to Highland Bay, the boys discover that they didn’t just inherit their late grandfather’s house, but he had started building a resort, and they decided to complete and open it for business. The Mac Brothers decide that family is important, and they will make this legacy into the Seaside Escape Resort. He has been ready to settle down, and this is the first step to making it happen.
Donnan loves the outdoors, hiking, fishing, sailing, or surfboarding. He will become the activities director for Seaside, and that will include activities for their guest, but his years of traveling and working in restaurants give him an edge for insight into creating the right atmosphere for various venues.
A group of ladies will come for a bachelorette week of fun and sun. Donnan has lined up various outdoor activities for these ladies, who are all models. Emira is the bride, and she is down-to-earth, wholesome, and wants to enjoy the outdoors. What happens when she falls and is injured during a strenuous hike and can’t leave for a photo shoot?
Emira is a prisoner to her fiancé, Vitaly, who uses his power and connections to force her to his will. With her 10-year-old brother, Amar, in boarding school, Vitaly threatens her to have him deported back to Bosnia.
The plot will have Emira living in fear, not for herself but for her brother. She loathes Vitaly, but he has control over her money and sponsorship over her brother. What Donnan and Emira never counted on was developing feelings for each other. The physical attraction is only part of it; there is an erotic bond that develops between these two. How far is Donnan willing to go to help Emira, and will she accept his assistance?
“You’ve been my knight in shining armor, but you can’t make my enemy disappear.”
The story is a steamy romance, with detailed descriptions of their sexual intimacy. It does have a HEA ending.
Note: These stories have been previously released as part of a series but have been revamped.
If you love Hallmark with the open door steam then this book is definitely for you. The MacDonald brothers are full of fun adventure and hunky good looks. They’ve just opened their newly finished lodge by the beach (inherited by their grandfather) and there is an incoming wedding party and a separate bachelorette party they must tend to. And the ladies are intrigued by these boys as well as their story.
I did feel like the book was slow to start and there were scenes and moments that I felt ended abruptly here and there. I think this book could’ve easily been split into a two-book series with all the material these two talented authors set up for. There was so much they needed to fit into the pages of this book there were times that it felt like we didn’t get enough or things were slightly rushed.
That being said, I still think this was a fun read and I loved the different angles of the story and how each relationship came to maturity. It was refreshing reading a story that had a different vibe and included a little bit of everything. The evolution of people in a short amount of time is always a challenge but the Mac boys definitely go through quite a few changes to find their HEAs.
I like different aspects of each relationship and the interactions between the couples. It was fun when Elsie turned the tables on Aaron. And I love how Emina was able to shock Donnan on their hike.
This book hits some heavy topics and shows the beauty of female strength but I also liked the aspect of not only making consent a cornerstone but making sure that door swings both ways as far as consent is concerned.
Great job Ladies! I can’t wait to see what other stories you have coming.
The Mac Brothers was my first book by Angela Ford and I really enjoyed it. Both brothers, Aaron and Donnan McDonald were hot and sexy and I enjoyed watching them fall in love the way they did.
One part of the book that I liked is the alternating chapters between the brothers and how both of their stories happened simultaneously.
I will definitely be looking at reading more books by her, if they can bring the steam and the romance like The Mac Brothers did!

I struggled to get into this book as the beginning was a bit slow, put pleased I persevered as this book is worth it. The McDonald brothers are both workaholics focused on building their resort so it was nice to see them fall in love the way they did as they were previously jaded to love. This book was sweet and steamy and written really well. I received a copy from Booksirens and leave my review voluntarily.
Despite being a book written by 2 authors, these stories were seamless and cohesive. I loved reading as these brothers met their matches and feel hard. Can't wait to check out both authors again.

Message from the Authors Jenni and I have been book friends for almost ten years! And our story…we met on April 1st…yes, April Fool’s Day and yes, we are fools for love and all the happily-ever-afters we can dream up! We love writing together and we can literally…finish each other sentences.
Angela and I have written many books as a team now. I feel our writing styles merge together seamlessly. Even though Aaron was basically her brother and Donnan mine, we wove their stories and their relationships together having fun brainstorming across the coasts as to what we could do or conversations they could have when they were together.
Hope you enjoy our sexy seaside ride with the Mac brothers as much as we enjoyed writing it.
