A few blips at the beginning especially IF you’ve read some of the other Lipstick & Leather MC books:

Was disappointed to see hardcore drinking and driving in the beginning… how’d she even make it home on a bike if she was that sh*t-faced?!! Not cool😠😡😠 just pathetic and disgusting!! …moving on…

💚The names were just awesome, bonus was they were mostly explained too..lol, I think my fav was:
TNT = Trick and Treat with Numbers in between
“Tricks and Treats were twin sisters and our resident, little psychopaths. Don’t get me wrong, they were ferociously loyal and put the club before all else, but they were stealthy, fucking ninjas. It’s why they did recon for the club.
Numbers was the N part of TNT. He was our club accountant and the meat in the TT sandwich.”

This one was good/ok, and it’s a first for me where I’d rather her only have Ghoul as her man and not the RH of Bowie and Pitch too (so very strange for me to say that as I absolutely love my RHs!!)

My reading order cause doesn’t seem like there is one or that it matters:
Callie - 2.5/5 💛💋💛
Sevyn - 5/5 ❤️💋❤️
Trinity- 5/5 💜💋💜 (there’s supposed to be an “Alicia” book, but can’t find it, let me know if it’s true/where, also would love to see a Natalie book, and a book for Haley & Lexie too!!)
Sudra - 3/5 💚💋💚 but also 🤍💋🤍?

So I have been a fan of KB and Brandy both for a long time. Ladies you guys did an amazing job.

MC books I do not get into very much because I lean more toward paranormal, but I do read all kinds. Sidra was a really good read. I loved the pace, the plot, the characters, the flow was just spot on.

Sid and Ghoul, YES!!! When you read this story you will see why I said this. I do not want to give any spoilers, as I feel reading the story fresh is the best way to experience them.

Would I recommend this read, Hell yes I would!!

Sidra by Brandy Slaven and KB Everly

I was given this book by the author for an honest review.

I have read many books by Brandy and a few from KB Everly. I enjoy the writing style and stories each author can craft. I looked forward to this story because its RH and MC. Those are a total jam for me. The concept of all women MC is a great genre. I have only read one other series like that, so I was super pumped.
I will say the beginning of the story was kinda wordy and drug a bit. I know we are world building, but I did put the book down a few times when reading. Gotta say, I did enjoy the buildup between Sidra and Goul. I mean totally awesome banter and chemistry between the President and her Enforcer. The whole “We can’t but we want” thing really worked for me. Seeing them pine for the other *Chef’s Kiss* LOVED it!! I knew this was an RH but thought maybe this book was just a contemporary MF. Which would have been cool. But then all of a sudden 2 other men are tossed in Sidra’s bed and I didn’t feel that connection she had with them like Goul. But that is just me…maybe because I was really digging Goul???
I did like the story of the other MC club in town doing bad business and trying to cause issue for Sidra and her town. Sidra and her crew are proud to be supporting the community and not destroying it like the other MC.
All in all it was a great start or a great addition to the Leather and Lace MC series. I also want to say I think the covers are gorgeous!!!

I love these two authors and knew I would enjoy anything these two put out together or separate! I definitely enjoyed Sidra and her motley crew os spitfires, psychos, and inner teddy bears haha. I outright really liked Sidra and with every chapter I liked her even more. I really wish this could have been a longer book (I know, I always seem to want more from these authors haha) or to have it be more than a standalone. I think there was so much potential in this storyline and the characters, I could have seen this being a huge hit if there was time to flesh it out and see what other adventures this crew could get into.

I enjoyed Ghoul and Sid's relationship, I wanted to like Pitch and Bowie's relationship with her too but they didnt really get the spotlight enough nor did I have enough time to cling to them and fully want them in the harem. I think because we saw so much interaction with Ghoul, got POVs, we could see their love and believe it. I didnt with Bowie and Pitch. I think that kinda rushed/lack of detail is one of the main reasons this was capped at a 4 stars for me. I thought the storyline was good for the size of the book, enough details and progression to keep my interested. I liked some of the little twists the author threw in too. I could see so many of these characters getting their own story and romance.

Overall a solid 4 stars! I liked the female MC aspect, I loved the different personalities in the MC, Loved 2 out of the 4 main characters (not that I didnt love them but I just didnt connect/know them enough in this story). Definitely going to be checking out more from this shared world (and these covers are fabulous!!)

Lipstick and Leather MC is a 1% MC but not in the normal way. They are mostly women and they are committed to their community. They keep the streets clean and safe. Sidra is the Prez. So when a new MC rides into town and is seen hanging out with the shadiest MC, she goes on high alert. It doesn't matter that their President and his best friend are hot, she doesn't want the trouble they are bringing. Especially when she's had her eyes on her own Enforcer for years. But this is her town and she soon finds herself right in the middle of everything...and everyone.

I am of a mixed mind about this one. I liked the characters even if I wasn't a fan of several of the names. I liked the relationships and the overall storyline. My problem lies in my belief it was a little too idealistic. I can get behind a mostly female MC, although in real life, it would be 90% female and a male would still be Prez. I can get behind an MC who wants to be a positive for their community. I think this is common enough with annual fundraisers. However, a "crime-fighting" MC was a little much for me. I realize without this angle the book wouldn't have been able to move forward but it didn't work for me. I would have liked for the characters to get where they needed to be without this slant. Ultimately, it doesn't matter because it was entertaining. I love the MC genre, I love RH, and I love a shared world with multiple authors, so this is a win for me.

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.
I enjoy Brandy’s RH writing style and KB Everly is a new to me author. I was excited to hear this was a women MC and RH. Really could it get better than that fierce women and guys. Plus you do not see many women MC books.
There is world building in this one so the beginning is a bit slow but it does take off. The push and pull between Sidra and Goul was electric. The chemistry between them was explosive. Then there was Bowie and Pitch although ok they didn’t seem to click with Sidra like Goul did. Maybe it was because there was so much buildup and history between Sid and Goul that it was hard for me to get to that point with the others.
I enjoyed the story line of clean Female MC that is there for their community. I also loved the other characters in the book. I would like to know more about all of them and their stories.

Actual:4.5 ⭐️

I absolutely loved this book. I loved how you go straight into the nitty gritty withthis one. Sidra is having trouble with another Club. Doom and his crew are out to cause trouble. Sidra and her crew are gearing up to take them down. Sidra doesn’t take any lip, any shit, she gives zero Fs. She rides hard, loves even harder. I loved how it’s more action than spice. But the push and pull game her and Ghoul have going is palpable. Almost lady blue balls worthy. But when they finally get together. It’s fireworks! And the chemistry between her and the other two guys were just as explosive. But Ghoul, that’s note-worthy. A really good standalone but I kinda wish it wasn’t because it went a little too fast but it’s understandably fast. A really good read and food flow from both authors.

This is my favorite of the interconnected series so far, I love Sid and how passionate she is about taking care of all of her members and protecting women. Her MC is different from others, they are very involved in the community and keeping it safe, they regularly help out the less fortunate, and they protect those that need it. I also really enjoy the building tensions between Sid and Ghoul and how it builds until eventually, it bursts. I wish we got a bit more from the characters but I am satisfied with the way this standalone ends.

This book was definitely different than what I was expecting of a MC book but it didn't disappoint. I have to admit I more for the more rougher MC books but I found this to be a good refresher. Sometimes I get stuck in some hard-core books and it's always good to cleanse the mind with a more tamer book but still keep the gritty you're looking for.

The relationships progressed in a medium-fast burn for some of the characters. And this girl loves a reverse harem! I have to admit while I loved Sid and her men, I'm hoping for a book about the twin psychos!

This book was lacking in overall exposition, story structure, pacing, and character depth/development.
The FMC is abused by her father but not sheltered enough from what the book gives us to explain the naivety we see from her as an 18-year-old.
The guys felt surface-level and not that interesting past their initial physical descriptors.

Overall, this book is so forgettable that I actually did forget I read it until I checked my Kindle reading insights.
Wouldn't recommend at all; better RH biker romances out there, that's for sure.

This book was so good. I don’t read as many MC books as I would like because I felt it was always the same drama in every one but this one was definitely different. I instantly felt the connection between Sid and Ghoul and was ecstatic when they finally gave in. What he tells her is by far my favorite thing in the entire book. Everything I have every read by KB has been fantastic and this is just yet another great reason why she is one of my favorite authors !

I picked this book up on a trip across country and devoured it in just a few hours. Fantastic story. I haven’t read an MC book in awhile. The fact that it’s a female lead group was awesome. And Sid is a bada$$. Now for her men-
Ghoul, holy hot and broody
Pitch, the charming bad boy
Bowie, I didn’t see that one coming but boy was it steamy.
This story has love, action, club war. I can’t wait for the rest of this series. Highly recommend.

Not my favourite Everly

Rounded up to 3 stars.

I've enjoyed all three Everly books I've read so far, but this one was just "eh". Maybe I'm not an MC romance kinda person, or maybe I feel like insta love belongs in shifter and omega romance. I get the book was short so there wasn't a lot of time to really build the characters or relationships but still. A tad disappointing. Maybe if it was a full novel it'd have hit the mark.

Freaking loved reading about Sid and her men. A MC whos main goal is to protect each other and their community but also has a female president, definitely a good read. Loved how much of a family they are and the storyline flowed really well. Definitely gonna read the others in this series.

I absolutely loved this twist on a MC. Seriously bad a$$ females taking charge and doing what they do best. It’s such a different spin in normal MC’s and then you throw in the RH aspect and seriously this book couldn’t be better.
