USA Today and Amazon Top-10 Bestselling Author Leigh James is currently sitting on a white-sand beach, watching the sunset, dreaming up her next billionaire. Get ready, he's going to be a HOT one!
Just kidding! Leigh is actually freezing her butt off in Maine, USA, where she lives with her awesome husband, their great kids, and her BFF Choco the chocolate lab. But she promises that billionaire is REALLY going to be something!
Her books have been translated into German, French, Italian, and Portuguese. Leigh also writes Young Adult Paranormal Romance as Leigh Walker. Her smash-hit series Vampire Royals was previously optioned by Netflix.
I was just glad this was over. This was more of a nightmare than enjoyable. I am still not sure how it has so many high reviews. I am rating it a 3 because everything was tied together in the end and I finished it. However, this author knew this was a series and felt the need to remind and clarify things that happened in the previous books like this wasn't a series, it felt super childish and bordeline insulting to the reader. Also, this particular book in the series had all these fillers comprised of long excerpts and so many quotes from the previous books. It was truly ridiculous because this story wasn't so complicated that it needed clarification after clarification about every single detail. Also, these huge age-gaps with teenagers need to stop. A 19-year-old virgin girl with a 31-year-old man was a lot. She was super immature and the almost insta-love made this story unbearable. The miscommunication trope also drove me crazy. The author could've done all this in 2 books. I finished the series because I basically like to torture myself with marriage of convenience stories. I do not recommend it but happy reading if you decide to torture yourself. Cheers!
Heroine needs to get a backbone, she's like a lost puppy when it comes to Bryce. He keeps hurting her wirh his actions, rejecting her and pushing her away. She's like "yes sir" "no sir". I'm not liking her that much in the second book because she's sometimes a bit irretating, she needs to grow up a bit. Her 11 year old brother is more mature than her at times.
Book 3 ****
This whole trilogy would have been great and deserved 5 stars, but the heroine really needs to get a backbone. OMG she's acting like a freaking puppet throughout all three books. I'm so frustrated with the heroine it's not even funny.
The whole plot is actually very good and enjoyable.

This one started off well enough, it's the third book in the trilogy, but again, if they had just talked to each other they would have saved themselves a lot of heartache.
The ending was super rushed. It's almost like the author was just tired of writing it.
I’m just taking notes as I read this train wreck. So here are my thoughts as I go. This was addicting, and not in the good way. It was addicting in like, a drug addict needing an intervention way. I couldn’t stop and for the life of me I don’t know why.
I read all three in one day. Crazy huh? But I fear these got worse each book.
Bryce thinks all problems are solved by sex. Literally every problem. This is his only solution.
47% this is still very much a train wreck and the story is stretching beyond what it needs to be. This could have been 2 books. It’s almost painful at this point, but I feel the finish line nearing. Thank fuck.
Chloe has everyone and their brothers mother trying to blackmail her and I don’t know which way is up and which way is down.
66% update. Please take me out of this world. I’m unsure why I’m still subjecting myself to this, on purpose no less.
86% and this is Bryce’s chapter (26) but I have no idea who’s chapter this really is. Because Bryce’s name is being mentioned in third person, not first person with it being his chapter and all. This whole chapter is written in both characters POV, when it should be Bryce. I am so confused as to what’s happening.
Midge. Dale and Boss (the dog) are the only ones with a lightbulb on here.
Let me tell you, I wanted to put this book down twice, twice…Chloe made me so upset that if she were real I’d have to tell her a few things… about her stupidity and why on earth would you not tell your husband everything and do it alone and then promise all this money without his knowing and why so much, you could have stood ground and said this what you will get and that’s it but nope. They named a price and you paid. 🙄You were basically saying you didn’t trust him, that he couldn’t protect you. You then let Mr. Windsor, Lydia and Mimi blackmail you. I would have told Lydia off and why not threaten her with the truth she failed to acknowledge, such as she kicked you and Noah out, etc but no she is sitting in Florida living it from being a b***ch. Ugh.
Now to the good parts. Hazel turned out pretty solid. Midge was an absolute great friend to talk to. Daphne was Daphne but still apart of the family. Dale was basically an awesome babysitter for Noah. Bryce just needed to know he was loved and that he could trust his person and was always kind hearted just hurt. His brothers were understanding and welcoming of everything and everyone. And Chloe she was just naturally a nice person and I was finally so relieved when she told Bryce everything and like I always that he took care of it. She didn’t even have to go through any of it by herself.
Just read them all. It was a really good trilogy. Some of the phrases were repeated which always seemed to stand out in a way that made me say…you’re using that line again?
My patience has finally run out with this series. The first two books are absolutely terrible, but somehow addicting and I couldn't stop reading them. This one should have never been written - I have no idea why this series would need to be 3 books. To be honest, one book would have been plenty. Three? Absolutely not.
Bryce is absolutely awful - a psychopath, but also stupid. Chloe can kinda sorta be decent at times, but she's so dumb its unbearable. And why I couldn't finish this one. She has 3 different people blackmailing her, yet she doesn't bother telling her extremely powerful billionaire husband who is absolutely obsessed/in love with her. It makes absolutely no sense. She just continues to give money to her deadbeat family, and then is surprised when they come back for more. Bryce's dad is blackmailing her and clearly a bad guy - but Chloe!!! He's in jail!!! Everything would be resolved if she just talked to Bryce, but no that would be the intelligent thing to do. It's so incredibly frustrating I cannot force myself to keep reading. The addition of the random escort, who has seemingly been hired by Bryce's ex-fiance's mom to terrorize Chloe (sign) is just another annoyance that makes no sense. It's like the worst soap opera in the world, but everyone has the IQ and emotional intelligence of a middle schooler.
I felt that Chloe's character was very weak. But I tried to understand that she was only nineteen years old. So I thought the older Bryce could take the lead and help Chloe. But he has trust issues and is extremely paranoid. and very self-centred It makes me feel so tired of this couple hahaha. To be honest, many times. I think Chloe is selfish. But sometimes she is a selfless person. Sometimes I think she loves Bryce so much that she would do anything for him. (Although it was completely pointless) But sometimes I thought that she loved herself and her younger brother more. However, I read until the end. For me, even though there were many parts that were irritating, But the novel was okay and easy to read and predictable. Especially the love scene between the two of them was very hot hahaha.
P.S. But what I don't agree with and is not very okay with. It's about Lydia. I don't understand why Bryce and Chloe are still supporting them. Even though they were mean and intimidating. especially Lydia She is the character I hate the most and I think she will end up in prison. But no...she has a very good life. I can't believe it ended like this.
I waited again to review all three books so I didn’t spoil it for the other readers. I will say, I got frustrated at one point and yelled out loud; “TELL YOUR FREAKING HUSBAND WHAT IS GOING ON!” Then I was fine, because I then thought, “how would I have handled all of this, at “19 years of age”?! Books were crazy and fun! Thanks again for a great series. Off to the next one! Xoxo
I first wanted to read it because I always love a story of a struggling virgin/female being in an arranged marriage with a billionaire/Mafioso and then falling in love. There is always something nice about a man on top finally getting his own given back to him and falling in love with a woman that they were only going to use for their purpose.
This is the first lot of books that I've read from Leigh James and I really enjoyed her writing style and her adventures with steamy scenes. Nothing plain/vanilla here.
I really to wish that this last book was longer so that we had more of the 'surprise at the end'. It would've been a great adventure to read just with the over-protectiveness of Bryce.
The only editing fail which was obvious was the second last chapter which was supposed to be done in Bryce's POV but instead it alternated. Yes, that's a difference between this last book and the other two it is done in both Chloe & Bryce's POV's.
I also would've loved an AccommoDating series. That would've been good just because it was such an integral part of the Trilogy and not just because of the set up but also the support from the characters that Chloe got. This Trilogy would've given it a really strong credence especially with the last chapter and Epilogue.
But that's neither here nor there. What is is that this was a great Trilogy. It was emotional, steamy and sexy but mostly it was real there was no hiding from various bedroom 'styles', no hiding from past troubles, no hiding from real issues and feelings and that what I liked so much about it. Leigh James wrote what was real and did try to make anything including the sex scenes all love hearts and butterflies.
Here’s what I don’t like about trilogies, you invest two and a half whole books into building the story and you wrap it up quickly in a few paragraphs and an epilogue. In this particular series, I thought that first two books were really good. The last I was disappointed in. Anybody that made an idle threat to Chloe, she caved and felt under their thumb. She was trying to please everybody except her husband. One threat from someone and she’s running away. In the end, instead of blowing these people out of the water, she promised them a bunch of money. The stepmother and father were built up these horrible people that you were hoping would get crushed. Instead, they ended up paying them a bunch of money as well. There was no satisfaction of anyone getting what they deserved. A lot of missed opportunities I felt.
Okay so the first book was definitely mediocre and left off on an intentional cliff hanger to make you buy the second (and then subsequently the third) book. I took a hiatus and then realized I did actually want to know how the story ended so I downloaded the rest of the trilogy on Kindle Unlimited (the fact that it was free really helped) and I feel like the vast majority of the plot was contained in the second two books. Once the author introduced more interesting elements than just their relationship? I was more invested in the story. There was so much drama for the sake of it and I was so frustrated with Chloe for not just talking to Bryce or her lawyer or someone to help solve some of the issues. But I was happy with the resolution and glad I finished the series.
Thomas guessed all the financial/business halfway through book two though 😂

But I really enjoyed this trilogy! I loved Chloe and Midge was a character that made her shine! Living the total fantasy of having everything is just that - a fantasy as much as fairies and unicorns for most of us. So why not billionaires? I love a HEA and even though it took 3 books to get there, it was so worth it. I would have loved a longer epilogue, but I'm happy with it all the same. I'm on to read more about the fantasy life of billionaires!
The Forever Trilogy comes to a satisfying close. Chloe's struggles against Gene Windsor's threats and her family's greed are intense, and Leigh James masterfully ramps up the tension. Ultimately, she finds a way forward with Bryce, and their love prevails. The passion between them is still off the charts, and the glimpse into their future is a lovely bonus. A great conclusion to a captivating series that will leave you feeling satisfied and happy for the characters. 🤓
Best book out of the three, and as much as the trilogy was lacking in some areas I was still hooked and needed to read until the end. I would have liked to see a stronger Alpha presence the MC, his weakness didn’t seem to make sense in book 1&2. If he was written a little stronger I think it would have made for a better read. I read this on KU and I will probably go back and buy it so that must mean something 🤷♀️
Oh my I just finished this whole series in one day! Once I started reading I could not stop. Bryce, Chole and Noah...such a complicated thing.. Rich people, blackmail, escorts, ex girlfriends, gossipy, it has it all. Chole such a loving soul. All she wanted was to take care of her brother after the step mother threw them out. She did what she had to do and she did it beautifully!!! Great read!!!
I love this author. Let me start with that. But this series of books became very aggravating and annoying. The MFC just came across not just naïve but stupid. It wasn’t till the third book, (because, of course I was already invested so I had to read all three,) get the book game, some momentum, character believability and enjoyment. I was rooting for MFC the whole time, but they’re just didn’t seem to be a whole lot of common sense.
Great ending! I loved how this author allowed the characters to play out in the end! Going public with the truth was like showing "sunlight is the best disinfectant". I was excited to read Tate & Colby got a happy ending as well as our favorite character that loves the spotlight, Daphne. Which warmed my heart she turned out to be amazing friend ha! The trilogy was worth the read for sure
What a great ending to Chloe, Bryce & Noah's story. A few twists and turns that I didn't see happening and I loved the strength and determination that Chloe found in the end to fight for what she wanted. I enjoyed this series and the author's writing style. I read this book through my Kindle Unlimited Subscription
I really enjoyed this trilogy. When I first started reading these books I got really excited, these books were a great journey for me. When you feel pain for someone who is scared for the safety of someone else it makes your heart go out to that person. HAPPY READING EVERYONE.
The whole series is a masterpiece and a must read ! 5 stars for all the drama. The love story has so many ups and downs you can’t put the book down! The characters all work together from the first page to the last . The family is full of love and happiness but also deviousness from some members . Great storyline and great writing!
Too much repetitive sayings like this headline and same sexual escapades that just made it seem mundane even if they were having it 5 or 6 a day which is ridiculous. How many stars and white or black fades can you really have in a day?
I am happy with how this series ended! The third/final book in the series was better than the second one! But I do feel like all of the main character’s problems could have easily been solved if she would have just talked to her husband or her lawyer.
And once again, this author makes so many mistakes in her writing. It’s ridiculous
After the second book and seemingly learning to not hide things or lie Chloe spend the first three quarters of the book lying to Bryce, hiding things from him and being twdious. When she eventually spils it miraculously all goes away in a chapter. Loved the first two. This was weak and disappointing
