As a new father myself, I loved reading this. It was such a funny and well researched collection of dadisms. I found myself regularly chuckling along at how many of these items are things that I regularly do or say. This is the perfect coffee table book or bathroom reading material that is sure to keep anyone occupied while reading along. While this isn’t a novel by any means, it is still a great read to check out!

I found myself regularly chuckling along at how many of these items are things that I regularly do or say. This is the perfect coffee table book or bathroom reading material that is sure to keep anyone occupied while reading along. While this isn’t a novel by any means, it is still a great read to check out!

After reading through this I would say it is about what I expected. It feels like the target demographic here would be Gen x or older. It very much feels like it would be a gift for those dads. That being said, I am a Millennial father of five and feel very seen by several of these "laws." I think this book achieved what it set out to do; however, not really my cup of tea.

I was given a copy of this book to review.
This is a very funny book, Being a father myself, I saw that I have even said many of the sayings in this book.. For example: " Dads must arrive at all locations and events early in order to beat the rush. Arriving anywhere at the same time as The rush is against Dad's Law. The rush is for fools with poor time management."
Also when I Dad is ready to leave, he will indicate it by suggesting, at a minimum, one of the following:
a. Let's rock and roll.
b. Let's hit the road.
c. let's blow this popsicle stand. (no dad knows the origin of the mystical popsicle stand; he only knows he wants to blow it..
I admit to saying and doing all of these myself. This is a must-read book, a truly funny and enjoyable book.

A gift book so badly full of stereotypes it comes out in April, and not for the Christmas gift book season. Either that, or they want to formulate a new stereotype – a dad will buy this for himself in April, forget all about it, and then finally smuggle it to someone to give him as a "surprise" "gift" that winter. Either way he's a muppet, because forgetting about this is all it's worth.

I want to send a copy to every dad I know! What a fun, heartwarming collection for the whole family to enjoy! I love how everything is broken down by category (complete with references to other parts of the book). I can't remember the last time a book made me smile so much. Heartfelt and funny from the first page to the last word.

This book is meant to be utter comedy but is a great reminder of what a good dad is, the last page summarizes up how all the jokes teach great lessons of being a good husband and father. Must read for a laugh and the lesson.

Oh my gosh! This book is hilarious! I loved it. It is full of dad jokes. This book will make the perfect gift for any dad. They will truly love it. It will be a real hit. I could not put it down, and I am not a dad! It is a great book! I highly recommend it!

Our family has enjoyed this book. As we have found specific dad laws that are exactly what my husband or my dad has done we have reminisced as a family about those memories.
