He’s big and green, but he’s not the goblin I’m looking for…
A year ago, my world was turned upside down when my missing twin returned - especially because he came with crazy stories of a magical world right under our feet. We’re part of the human bloodline chosen as goblin mates. But I’ve had my fill of big, pushy men for a lifetime. So before I can be claimed as a mate, I sign up to be a hag - the female guardians of their world, who kick butt and make grown men weep. I’m set a task to prove my worth, and I have every intention of coming out on top. Only catch? One of those big, pushy monsters is sent to help me. And everyone knows, goblins like being on top, too…
* GROUCH is the second book in this steamy monster series with all the feels. It fleshes out the BACKYARD GOBLIN GODS world, but can be read as a standalone. For lovers of fated mates, hot driven monsters, and spunky heroines who win against the odds.
I write the books I like to read. Not too sweet, not too dark - and never fluffy. Everyone fights for their HEA, and if it feels a little real at times, I've done my job. Grouch is the second book in the Backyard Goblin Gods series and features Drew and Grouch. I didn't like this one as much as the first unfortunately but it still carried its own unique flare.
Drew has been through a lot and isn't open to love and Grouch has his own demons. They are thrust together on missions and the more time they spend together, the more they connect. Drew was a really difficult character to fall in love with because she always seemed so closed off to me. Grouch was like a big teddy bear and I loved him. Full of action, this was lacking romance in my opinion until after the 50% mark. The world building was well done and I appreciated the new bits of intrigue.
There were some good steamy bits in here but the connection between Drew and Grouch didn't feel deep and meaningful to me. However, this was an enjoyable installment and I look forward to what's next.
Back yard goblin gods book 2. I'm still standing by my review of the first book. Where can I throw my offering in.
who doesn't want a supernatural goblin man protecting his love?
There are some triggers in this book please check them out before reading if you have any.
In this book you get to learn more about the other races that are in the world, some of them good some of them bad. It also has spicy bits, like the first book. :)
I can't wait to read the next book.
I received this book from booksirens for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I loved Grouch as much as I loved Grunge. He held his monster in check so he could be just what Drew needed and she could learn to trust him despite her previous sexual abuse. I loved their slow build.
Drew was a bad ass, determined to write her own future. She wanted to make a difference, so bad men couldn't do to others what had been done to her. Grouch supported Drew and was there to be anything she needed, including relinquishing control to her.
I just wish it was longer and didn't leave so many questions unanswered. Like with her mission, her dad, the fae, and the darkling Queen. I also wanted to see Grouch take Drew to the Darklands and see her reactions. It seemed so rushed in the end and so many ties cut off so quickly. So I felt a little cheated. I just hope some of this is addressed in the next one. Still a great series I highly recommend.
Trigger warning: Drew had previously been sexually abused as a teenager. There are confrontations with her abuser.
The Gobelins are back in this sequel which carries on with characters we saw briefly in the first story. Drew is a strong, confident girl who's been through a lot of abuse and isn't interested in looking for love. I think this was the reason I didn't enjoy this story quite as much as book one, it's not really a romance until quite late in the story, it's more two tough characters who go on missions together and are lusting after one another. Grouch isn't really grumpy despite his name, he's definitely got a cinnamon roll vibe going on.
This book is also more heavy on the motorcycle club parts and most of the action takes place in the human world. We do get introduced to the Fae world as well which was quite exciting.
Once the couple get more private time and really begin to bond later, it's really sweet and steamy! There's some really unique scenes in this book, including lots of baths. I especially liked one scene where Drew took charge. Grouch is really sweet and concerned about his size and he pulls a trick I haven't seen in any other monster book so far. He also wants to kill any scumbag who looks her way, I loved that too.
A strong sequel with a different flavour, if you like motorcycle clubs and action, you'll especially enjoy this one. Tough heroine, cinnamon roll hero, way too big to fit, nesting, baths, 'Who did this to you!?" and many more great tropes.
Drew (h) is a woman on a mission to help fight injustices and makes an offering to be a hag. Grouch realizes she's his mate and is drawn to her, even as Drew's dark abusive past makes it difficult for her to accept what he has to offer her. Fighting threats from the human, goblin and fae realms, the two will have to work together to reach their HEA. There's plenty of hot and steamy action all along their journey. I enjoyed this one but perhaps not as much as the first book (Grunge). I liked Grouch just fine, but just didn't connect with Drew as much. I like strong female characters but for my taste I like to have some softness and sense that she needs her partner, and I just didn't feel the connection between Drew and Grouch.
I loved this book and series. The world building is incredibly real and authentic, the characters richly detailed and well developed. The dynamics between humans and goblins intricate and fascinating. Drew had a ton of pain and issues while grouch had his own insecurities to face but somehow they managed to come together learning they were stronger together healing each other slowly while on a mission. A beautiful story of blending two damaged hearts and lives into something new exciting healing and forever. I can't wait to read the next book.
I received an arc copy from book sirens and this is my honest voluntary review.
I have to say that I absolutely loved this and before I do the review I also feel that I need to say the following. I am aware though that others may not like Drew because of her seemingly to blow hot then cold towards Grouch. The thing is if you have had things happen to you, like Drew has, you can be fully in the moment and then somehow a door in your head slams shut and you just can't deal. The author has represented this so well (I should know) so please do bare this in mind. Drew has grown up a princess within the MC due to her father's position but despite all that it not really kept her safe. She has been at the mercy of other club members and it seems like no-one really cares. She has made the decision to fight for herself and the others girls. She knows she is broken but she wants to become strong as she thinks this will heal her. What she doesn't know is that she is already strong, what she needs to work on is finding a way to heal. Grouch knew Drew was his mate from the first moment that he scented her. The thing she is doesn't want a relationship with anyone, EVER. She certainly doesn't want a mate, EVER. Let alone one from Underhill. He however is prepared to give all that he has and will do all that she asks, even if it just abour breaks his heart. He was full of hope when her offering came but when he realised that it was for the Hags and not a mate, he determined to go regardless. Now he is on a mission with Drew but will the mission terminate his time with her forever?
Omg!! This author has done it again although ot was on a more intense level for me. I definitely read the tw so I already knew ahead of time I was going to be a little triggered reading it. I took my time but I love how focused this book was on consent and healthy boundaries. This book will definitely be on my bookshelf once it's released. The spicy was fantastic 12/10 recommend.

Grunge (book 1) was incredible, and I was desperate to find out what was in store for Grouch & boyyyyy was I NOT dissatisfied. Roxy Collins writes horrifying and tragic back stories with dignity and grace whilst allowing the reader to step into their shoes and live vicariously through their fierceness and fearlessness. Grouch was glorious to read and I could not put it down. This has quickly become one of my all time favourite monster series and I absolutely cannot wait to see what’s next in store for Underhill & these amazing characters. If you don’t want to take a journey under the crust, I’ll call you a liar.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This series is so unique and I love the characters so much. Drew broke my heart many times over during the course of this book, but I have to say that even poor Grouchu had me tearing up several times. Every time he offered to glamour so that he would be someone different for her, it tugged at my heartstrings. When these two could finally be themselves fully with one another, it was like the sun coming out from behind the clouds. Even though there were so many dark themes throughout the story, these two were clearly meant to be together. I really enjoyed seeing justice served and I loved Drew finally coming into her own skin and being able to take control after being controlled for so long. Great read!.

Drew summons that Hag’s to help find some missing girls. When the Hags visit they bring Grouchu and he finds out that Drew is his mate. The Hags stipulate that both Drew and Grouch work together to find who is responsible for the kidnappings. They start to grow closer and both end up falling for each other. Drew refuses to love as she has lost so much and been through so much in her past. Grouch doesn’t want to commit as Drew did not summon him and doesn’t think that he is good enough for her. This book has a heart wrenching story and Drew has been through so much. This is a great story and Drew and Grouch are a great couple. Plus I could see a spin-off series about the Darklings (pretty please). If you like the first book then you will love this one.
I loved this book! It was even better than the first one! Great world building and wonderful characters. Grouch and Drew had such great tension and chemistry between them. Grouch was really sweet and not at all what I expected for someone with the name Grouch lol (and that's a plus for me because I loved him). The story had adventure, action, and suspense. I couldn't put it down. 5 stars.
I loved book one in this series and just wow, book two was even better. Im loving the fact that there is a continuing story which so far goes along the line in both these books and im picking the third book in which i will be so looking forward to.
This author has made the story so good to read, im begining to love all of the people of underhill even Starka the Hag is unique.
But this story belongs to Drew and Grouch. Drew has had a very hard life and has had enough so she thows a ring down the hole. However its Starka the hag and Grouch who come up. Because Drew wants revenge she asks for a task to prove herself that she can do whats needed. But its Grouch who stays with her and helps her in her quest.
This story was so good, honestly i couldnt put it down… or more to say i didnt want to put it down. It certainly caught my eye and kept my attention. Boy did it ever.
Grouch, by Roxy Collins is the second book in the Backyard Goblin Gods series. We met the two main characters, Drew and Grouch, in the first book. To be honest, I didn’t expect Drew to be the next one to make an offering but I was pleasantly surprised.
There is a lot to love about this book. I found Drew’s character to be far more fleshed out than Cassie’s was in the first book. The reader really gets to know Drew and understand her motives behind her offering to Underhill. Unlike Cassie, Drew knows what she is doing when she drops a gold ring into the crack in the crust. She understands the implication of her actions and does so with a plan. While she does seem to understand some of the gobelin tradition, she is not in it to find a mate. She has a lot of stuff to work through and the reader is along for the ride. And Grouch, despite his name, is delightful. His initial reaction upon meeting her is less than dignified, but he dials it back immediately and though he knows she is his fated mate, he respects her boundaries and follows her lead. He is also fighting his own demons and they find they have a lot of common ground.
I have noticed in other reviews that there is not a lot of love for Drew. People love a strong independent female lead until she proves that she truly is strong and independent. I actually really liked the fact that she didn’t fall all over Grouch right away. She was on a mission and was determined to see it through. She knew what she didn’t want (a relationship/mate) and didn’t really warm up to the idea until she’d nearly completed her mission.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me. Collins addresses a lot of the issues I had with the first book by creating stronger characters with solid arcs. The main characters grow to know and care about each other before the big frenzy, which is something that is often missing in a fated mate story. There are some loose ends (what happened to Drew’s aversion to sex?), but overall a satisfying story. I am looking forward to the third book, Grot, coming to Kindle Unlimited on February 19, 2023.
I utterly loved this book, Drew and Grouch's love story is so special and beautiful and unique to them!!! I love Roxy Collins' exceptional writing, I loved how she wrote this beautiful and extraordinary plot! Once I saw that the book was available, I was in awe and with butterflies in my stomach as I was so excited with it!! I also love how I can easily connect with the characters and plot! Although this is a monster story, it's beautifully written and with a raw and magical plot!
This is my second book written by Roxy Collins, and I need more and I cannot wait for the next book in this series!
I was pleasantly surprised with Drew being the main female character and not being Gracie instead. But having said that, Dew and Grouch are perfect for each other, their background makes them more suited for each other, their raw emotions makes them more special in their own way and as a couple. They are mates :) and every time I read the word "Mine" - it got me, so pure and so beautiful!
Drew is a strong character, is hot and cold instantly in regards to Grouch, she's a mess and dealing with a childhood trauma. Grouch is a strong goblin warrior and he treats Drew like his precious love and he is addicted to her. It warmed my heart the fact that he did every physical aspect for the first time with Drew, his mate!!! It is an easy read, it has the right amount of details and it's very engaging with amazing twists!
I could go on and on because I truly loved and felt every emotion in this extraordinary story!!!
Roxy Collins, I appreciate and I will cherish this story in my heart! Thank you for your amazing love stories, you smashed it once again!
I 100% recommend this exceptionally and beautifully written monster love story to everyone!
You're in for a treat!!!.

So, before I can be claimed as a mate, I sign up to be a hag - the female guardians of their world, who kick butt and make grown men weep. I’m set a task to prove my worth, and I have every intention of coming out on top.
Only catch?
One of those big, pushy monsters is sent to help me. And everyone knows, goblins like being on top, too…
This is the story of Drew and Grouch who actually met in Book 1. Although they are attracted to each other Drew is on a mission to help find young girls who have gone missing. Drew grew up a biker princess and was raped and molested by one of the high-ranking biker club members. The same member that works side by side with her father in the biker gang. Drew has severe trauma and doesn't trust men. Grouch had his work cut out for him because winning Drew over was going to be a lot harder than he expected.
Drew knew of the Goblins that have come Airside to find mates and although she is considered one of the chosen ones, she decided to make an offering to Starka the Head of the Hags; the female Goblins who are enforcers of the law and protectors of all Goblins from attacks from Airside. To Drew's dismay not only did her offering get Starka's attention but also the attention of the one Goblin who is ready to claim her as his mate.
Grouch wasn't interested in finding a mate because he had other plans but the minute the offering was made, he couldn't resist the pull. Now he has been tasked to work with Drew in finding the missing girls. Grouch is more than ready to prove to Drew that he can be a worthy mate.
This story is full of triggers ranging from: Abuse, Rape, Drugging, Kidnapping, Human Trafficking and Violence
~ Drew has a plan, she is going to join the hags and move on from the pain and memories of the past. What she didn't plan for was the big green Goblin that would accompany her on her mission.
She also didn't really plan for the feelings that came with it. ~
My favourite goblins are back and I couldn't be happier. Where I enjoyed book 1, I ADORED this book. Drew and Grouchu were truly perfect and I adored each and every one of their moments together.
Drew has a special place in my heart 🥺 she's so strong, but goodness does she hide a lot of pain. Yet she is so compassionate and brave. Ah I'm as in love with her as I am with Grouchu.
Now Grouchu, he's my man. Tall, silent, deadly and drop dead gorgeous. I mean what more could you ask for? And then of course he is very Grouchy 😅 but guys! He is so protective over Drew, making sure thay she feels safe. Further, he is so patient with her and taking the lead from her. I have a feeling Grouchu will continue to be my favourite Goblin no matter what the other books may bring.
I adored them as a couple and they really took care of each other.
The plot was so intriguing and learning more about the worlds and the magic system was amazing. As always the side characters brought their own unique stories and they are all really enjoyable as well. Addicting plot and a writing style that's easy to read ensures a fast read - you'll definitely be finishing this in one sitting.
~ Please go read this series! I'm convinced you'll enjoy it 😁 A definite recommend ~
And good news for you guys -
THE BOOK IS AVAILABLE TODAY ON KU!
Happy release day @roxycollinswriting and I can't wait for the next book.
Grouch by Roxy Collins was the perfect follow-up in the Backyard Goblin Gods series! While Grouch works as a standalone book, I was very happy that I decided to read the first book in the series, Grunge. Starting from the beginning of the series is the route that I suggest for everyone to take, mainly due to how much world-building is done in the first book that the reader would be missing out on if they chose to skip one of the books.
I was so happy to see that the second book in the Backyard Goblin Gods series followed two characters that had been introduced in the first installment. Drew is a strong, fierce woman who fights tooth and nail to be more than her trauma. It does not matter if her enemies are physical or psychological, she fights as if every breath may be her last. It makes perfect sense that her counterpart in this story is Grouch, the one goblin who could match her trauma.
The tension between Drew and Grouch steadily builds from the first moment their gazes meet. Throughout the book, the reader can’t help but become immersed in the need between these two beings...until they hold their breath hoping that something may finally happen.
One thing I can promise... It is definitely worth the wait ;)
Grouch dethroned Grunge when it comes to the Goblin-sized hole in my libido. I can’t wait to see what Roxy Collins comes up with for the next installment!

Drew suffered abuse for years at the hands of one of her father's friends. She doesn't believe in love or mates, but when she's had enough, she makes an offering to the gobelins one night. Grouchu had met Drew before when he rescued Grungu and he recognizes her scent on the offering and is drawn to her. But her offering was not for a mate, but to the head of the hags. She wants to fight with the legendary female gobelin warriors to protect other young girls from the abuse she suffered. She's assigned along with Grouchu to rescue three women sold to her father's motorcycle group. Grouchu knew no woman could accept him as mate with his possible darkling parentage but still had hope with Drew until she revealed her plan to become a hag. He's determined to help her get what she wants and then banish himself to the deepest gobelin garrison. But fate has a way of changing things... I loved Grouchu's protectiveness in book 1 and his willingness to take vengeance on her enemies, but also to step back and let her fight her own battles. Despite his name, he's a true cinnamon roll hero. This story was a bit darker than the first book, bringing in more enemies with the introduction of the fae and the darklings. There's plenty of action, a strong female character, a great plot, and lots of steam. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Grouch is the sequel to Grunge, a super fun goblin romance that features Drew, a badass heroine who has been through the wringer and has a strong sense of justice. She is laser focused when it comes to her mission, so will she be able to see the love that is right in front of her?
I absolutely adore a spicy romance that also has an engaging plot. It was great getting to know more about Underhill and the finer intricate workings of the politics and rivalries that are going on down there. Also, getting more insight into some of the things that weren’t fully developed in the first book.
It was quite refreshing to have the FMC be able to recognize when she had been triggered, and subsequently reactionary, to then go forward and be able to apologize. I seriously hate when characters are so prideful that they continue to be stubborn in their reactions and end up causing a bunch of unnecessary drama. Drew knew she had trauma and still took responsibility for how that made her interact with Grouchu. In turn that allowed Grouchu to be able to adjust how he acted with Drew and their relationship was able to flourish! Communication! What a thing!
I can’t think of a single thing I disliked about this book. In order to rate 5⭐️ I need a book to really shake me to my core, and this was more of a casual read. Regardless, I highly recommend!! I will definitely be continuing on with the rest of the series.
I love this book, it’s another great book from the goblin world but this one was a much harder read. The abuse mentioned in this book is hard to swallow. It’s also really triggering for survivors sometimes.
The character development is fantastic. We see different sides to both Drew and Grouch who were also in Grunge which I absolutely loved. You can see my review here. I wasn’t a huge fan of Grouch while reading the first book. He seemed cold and standoffish and hard to relate to.
Grouch gave a different view of both Grouch and Underhill which I really enjoyed. I got to understand why Grouch was who he was. We also get to see more of Underhill, it’s landmarks, politics and it’s citizens.
Grouch made me realize that I would love to have a book that is focused within Underhill instead of in the human realm.
The writing within the Goblin books is excellent. The author clearly has a well fleshed out world and a great cast of characters. My only wish is that they would create a series rather than stand alone books within the same world. I feel like that would help readers connect to the world in a deeper way. I struggle with getting into it and staying in it because the books don’t really connect to each other. You can read one without needing to read the books that come before or after.
Wow!!! This was a really awesome spicy monster adventure romance!!!
This was my first time reading this author and I’ll be back for more!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
There was a little bit of editing left to do, if it was fixed I would definitely increase to five stars.
I really loved the chemistry between Drew and Grouchu… he is a huge and fierce gobelin… but underneath that he’s sensitive, caring, empathetic, devoted, protective… growly (mmmm🥰🥰🥰). At the very beginning he is instinctively drawn to Drew as his fated mate… But then when she’s not initially interested he is a little dismissive of her lack of knowledge about the Underworld and their customs… but he quickly sees her strength, bravery and beauty beneath her hardened, damaged shell… and with every minute he wants her more fiercely as a mate… But doesn’t feel he deserves her… or anyone else… due to his partial darkling heritage…
Drew is struggling to get vengeance on her abusers and prove herself to the Hag Queen in exchange for training…. And to survive her trauma…
Then there’s the overarching drama of the Gobelin wars, girls traded from one MC to another, the fae… family betrayals and drama… so much intrigue….soooo goooood!!!!🤗🤗🤗
And sooo much more!!! Fangs and muscles and monster peens oh my!!!!😬😉🤭🤗🥰😍
Grouch is playing the long game in this book. He knows Drew is his mate but he supports her going on this mission and accepts that if she doesn’t want him back he can’t make her. He’s always believed he was going to be alone due to his shameful parentage so imagine his surprise when Drew starts warming up to him. But it’s back and forth because Drew has her own battles to fight regarding intimacy.
I love these two! I loved how strong and determined Drew was and I’m obsessed with how supportive Grouch was! Whatever Drew needed he was there to provide and when she freaked out because things went too far for her comfort - HE APOLOGISED FOR HURTING HER 🥺😍
It was more light on the romance side of things compared to book 1 and the plot gets a bit clunky at the end for me: they’re going to the Darklands, then Grouch randomly decides he’s going alone, suddenly her dad has weeks to live and she needs to leave ASAP (but if she took two minutes and he claimed her she could come and go as she pleased right?), then she goes back and he does claim her but he bites her on the neck (except I thought it had to be on the thigh bc Grunge bit Cassie on the neck and it didn’t count). Idk it’s been a little while since I finished it so I’m sure I’m getting some of this wrong but it was just a bunch of little things that kind of didn’t add up for me.
Also the whole treaty thing doesn’t get resolved but maybe that’ll get picked up in a future book. I’m definitely still invested in the world and want to read Grot and overall I really enjoyed this one too!
Thanks to Roxy Collins & Booksirens for the ARC - all opinions are my own.
Independent reviewer for Book Sirens, I was gifted my copy of this book.
This is book 2 in the Backyard Goblin Gods series, and I would say that it would HELP to read book 1, Grunge, before this, but not strictly necessary. A personal recommendation, is all.
Grouch is so badly named, its not funny. That goblin is a teddy bear/cinnamon roll all wrapped up in an outer green casing! He's lovely! And he loves Drew, but doesn't quite know why or how for a long time in the book and I loved watching him fall like Grunge did!
Drew has had a bad time, and the book carries some triggers that might affect you, so please check them out before you read. Grouch, once he know he wants Drew, knows he has to do it on HER terms and only hers. And he plays a blinder of a trick to help her and well played there, Ms Collins, very well played!
There is more motorcycle gang stuff, more fae stuff and so much more to look forward to! I'm thoroughly enjoyed the mix that these books contain: some drama, so smexy times, some sweet times and a whole lot more.
Please keep em coming, I have book 3, Grot, to read shortly.
I first started with the author's omegaverse books and was looking for something else by her to read when I stumbled across this series. I was a little hesitant since I could only start with book 2. Fear not - book 2 comes with a great intro that brings you up to speed on what happened in book 1 so you are all set to go.
I thought I was prepared for the story with the trigger warning that the author provided, but I do want to add that the child abuse was a bigger part of the story than I expected. The character's abuser is still around and continues to throw that history in her face. The lengths of what he and his friends go to with other women is stomach turning.
Story spans both human and goblin realm. Where other women, and even some girls, are eager to land their own goblin, Drew is looking for something else. A forced partnership has Drew and Grouch seeing other sides of each other. I liked how Grouch knew from the beginning she was his mate, but had to deal with his own expectations of what his mate should be like and the idea of if he even wanted one. The relationship does come easy, but the work is worth it in the end.

Collin's does it again with a the next edition of the Backyard Goblin Gods. She does an excellent job fleshing out more of the mythology and world of the series. Drew is a much stronger protagonist with realistic quirks due to past traumas. She is engaging and you truly want her to succeed in her goals. Grouch is entertaining as a love interest, though very bad about talking about things. Watching the two of them work together, especially through Drew's issues was particularly well done.
My main complaint is that major issues are resolved "off camera" and not really by Drew. After so much work is done to present Drew as an active character who wants to solve her own issues, I find it hard to believe that she wouldn't be a part of their conclusions. It is mentioned off hand that she's not thrilled about how things ended, however she appears to essentially shrug it off. It was not in character with her, and was a bit of a disappointment. However, the book is very strong otherwise.

Thank you, Roxy and BookSirens, for the opportunity to read and review this book!
This is the second book in the Backyard Goblin Gods series and focuses on Grouchu, the stoic second-in-command from Grungu's story, and Drew, club princess and daughter of the MC's captain.
Drew has decided that she never again wants to be under a man's thumb, so she sends a petition of blood and gold into Underhill.
But not for a mate.
She wants to be a Hag. And Starka, the Head, sees her potential and gives her a mission to prove herself. Only caveat - she has to work with Grouchu.
Who, immediately upon smelling the offering and seeing Drew, knows that she is his fated mate.
These two were written so well - the development of their relationship and the struggles they have to move past their respective traumas feels so real, it was like cheering on two of my best friends.
I look forward to reading more of the series and seeing how everything plays out!
Drew and Grouch's story was an enjoyable book and a great addition to this series.
It was interesting reading from Drew's perspective and it was hard reading at different times and to see Drew grow up to be an amazing young Lady was great to see.
To have Grouch in her corner from the get go was nice as well. Not sure his name suits him because he was anything but Grouchy hahaha.
Their chemistry was great the further book went and I thorough enjoyed them coming together and working their way through everything that was put in front of them.
Overall, a very easy book to fall into, just like book 1 was. It is a unique take and something different to read which in itself was fantastic. Yay, something new which was a huge plus for me.
Now where will the Author take us…..

Grouch is a great addition to the Backyard Goblin Gods series. I love a steamy romance, especially one full of added complications created by bad guys getting their comeuppance from empowered women!
Grouch follows in the footsteps of Grunge, the first book in the series. You can expect swift action, hot bodies and long overdue revenge. This book gives you a different sort of glimpse into the world below and I was hopeful we would get a little more insight into the hags. Despite being less about the sisterhood than the premise of the book suggests, this fast paced action romance is full on fun and leaves you wishing you had a backyard goblin god of your own.
