Huge thank you to @shreen_beyoubefree for sending me a copy of Be You Be Free! 🥰

This is an extensive body positivity guide and workbook and it is beautiful the whole way through. I really appreciated Shreens story that was included in the front of the book.

The book itself has a pleasing aesthetic to read, from the pictures to the pretty pink highlights. The work/journaling pages are almost too lovely to write on 😍

There is plenty of examples and resources included so that you can look further into body positivity and find other social media creators within that space.

Be You Be Free covers so many different things, from diet culture, finding joy in movement, body image, positive thinking, intuitive eating, connection, and plenty of activities to help you find what's important to you!
I found this book and the activities to be incredibly validating for me.

Some parts that stood out for me:

There were a few stops and starts with me for this book but that was purely me and not the book. This is a very positive (and logical) book about doing the things that work for you, since we are not all the same and that same things doesn't work for everyone. I loved the approach here to tackle what you are ready for because some things you just can't do until you have done the thing before it. And she covers everything, movement, emotional and mental wellbeing, communication and self care and more.

One of my favourite tips is
• When you are shopping, choose a variety of sizes to take into the changing room. Try them on with your back to the mirror, so you can't see yourself, and only turn around and look in the mirror if the clothes feel good on your body. If they don't feel good, take them off without looking and try another size.

Be You Be Free was such a beautiful and refreshing read that really showed me the importance of loving ourselves, something that a lot of us really struggle with.

Full of fun little tips and activities to complete as well as workouts and just general facts about why it's important to love ourselves first before anything else💕

I have gained so much more confidence and learned so many things that have made me go from hating looking in the mirror to seeing myself as a work in progress 💜

Thank you soooo much @shreen_beyoubefree for sending me this beautiful book and for writing it 😭 it's so amazing and thoughtful and greatly appreciated. Cannot wait to see what you come up with next 🥰
