A generous four stars.

It honestly probably would have been three stars if the last few stalker books I’d read hadn’t been so terrible. Compared to them it was a definite step up. What I didn’t like was that he was going to just leave her for months and months and we get no epilogue of them and their life together after he’s done with the military.

Also, I realize it’s super sexist but I don’t like that she asked him to marry her. It takes away something for me.

This is the fourth book in this series. I highly suggest reading the previous three books in this series to help your enjoyment of this author. This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up. One of the things I enjoy most is her ability to pull me into her stories with her attention to details. This book is no different. The author's use of details made her characters pop. They are connectable and their chemistry is off the charts. I also enjoyed watching their growth throughout the story. This is a fast paced story that is hard to put down. A story that you don't want to miss. The characters brought so much to the story which made it easy to read. I really enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it.

This book is part of a series based on 4 brothers who are all SEALs. Each book can be read as a standalone but after reading one, you’ll want to read them all. This book is about Maverick, the quiet, shy brother. He has a crush on the curvy neighbor, Sadie. He begins by “stalking” her, but she quickly realizes that someone is watching her.
This book is amazing! For a short story, the character development is great. This author has definitely peaked my interest. I cannot wait for the final brother to find his match!!.

Maverick can’t stop stalking his neighbour. Of course, she doesn’t know, or does she? He is obsessed with her and that allows him to defend her from her ex.
Sadie knows her neighbours are SEALs and she feels safe with them so near.
I found this book different from the average of this type of book and made me laugh at the night scenes. There was a smile on my face when I finished reading it.
I loved the teasing between Maverick and Sadie.

I was really looking forward to Mavericks story. He seemed so adorable and quite different from each of his brothers. I was intrigued by mention of his obsession with the next door neighbor. Said and Mav did not disappoint. I think the only drawback for me was I could have used a bit more on the whole watching and stalking vibe. Overall, great read.

The Brooke brothers are all Navy Seals, and while home on a 5-day pass, Maverick spots his next-door neighbor, Sadie, and is determined to make her his. This is a good story which has love and is a compelling page turner.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved Maverick and Sadie’s story. How they ended up talking was really interesting. I love how their relationship progressed. The story line was great and the characters were perfect. I loved what Sadie did at the end! The military romance series is definitely one of my favorites by C.H. James. I can’t wait to read more!

I’ve always wondered about Maverick as he’s been the quiet one of the group. I was excited for his story and it didn’t disappoint! Sadie has been through just about everything and is having the worst luck. When Maverick saves her from a dispute with her ex and the rest is kinda history. The chemistry between the two of them is SO good. Their story has all the drama, spice and surprises! Definitely a great way to end the series!
