DUSK – book one ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This narrative has been an incredible start to Reid and Lorna's trilogy. The Sparrow Web world is exciting, intriguing, suspenseful and filled with twists and turns aimed to keep the reader on the edge of their seat…. and they do! Dusk is no different. I'm addicted to this story and desperate to learn what happens next. Thankfully I have Dark downloaded and ready to read. I can’t imagine getting anything in real life done today as I’ll be glued to my Kindle.

Lorna and Reid’s trilogy is titled Dangerous Web and I already know that it couldn't be more perfect for this storyline.

DARK – book two ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

OMG this story is unputdownable. There are so many twists and turns that keep me constantly sitting on the edge of my seat. I have theories that keep on getting quashed. I love that as situations unfold, I am considering various outcomes – even if they are proved wrong!

Dark is an intense and emotional read. This storyline is definitely not for those who have certain triggers. Lorna’s story is tough to read at times. My heart is hurting for her and all who have faced trauma during this particular storyline. I absolutely love witnessing the Sparrows in action. This original ‘family’ of military friends is expanding and seeing them all being there for each other in whatever way they can, warms my heart.

I cannot wait for the conclusion to this storyline. I know I’m not going to come up for air once I start the final book in this trilogy. I’m completely addicted!!

DAWN – book three ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’m actually gutted that my time with The Sparrow men and their leading ladies is over. Well, technically I do still have Laurel and Mason’s trilogy to read so it’s not quite. Please learn from my mistake and read the Sparrow Web World in release order!!

I must applaud Aleatha Romig for her writing skills. This series is up there with my favourites. I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this storyline and have thrived on all the twists and turns throughout. It’s these twists and turns that Ms. Romig has impressed me with. How she has kept up with the tangled web she created - ensuring that all the mystery and situations are explained and resolved - beats me. I can only be thankful I am not one of her beta readers. My notes would have been the size of the novel War and Peace. LOL.

I absolutely loved Reid and Lorna’s trilogy. I enjoyed learning more about the couple – even though some parts were very tough to read. This Dangerous Web Series is made up of three novels titled, Dusk, Dark and Dawn and they couldn’t be more perfect! I have a huge amount of respect and admiration for Lorna – actually I could say that about Araneae, Laurel and Madeline too. I believe Lorna is my favourite of all the leading ladies. As for the men, well, they each have a piece of my heart.

Dawn has all the excitement and suspense I have come to expect from Ms. Romig’s stories. I highly recommend the whole Sparrow Web World to you to read. I have found this series to be unputdownable. I desperately NEED to step away from my Kindle and deal with real life – and I will do…… once I’ve read the Tangled Web trilogy 😉

Dusk
Aleatha Romig is an incredible author and this is another amazing book, once you start you cannot put it down, it ensnares you and pulls you in. Lorna and Reid have always been the steady, undramatic pair in the Sparrow family, but not anymore. Reading while holding your breath is not easy to do. Dusk is nonstop from the first page and will bring tears to your eyes at times as well as sighs of relief, only to be back to holding your breath on the next page. This book also elaborates on the other couples that live in the Tower and thereby has an added dimension and interest as well as giving a deeper insight into the Sparrow world. It is very well done and does not impede the flow of the story, it just adds to it.

Dark

This series is fascinating, we are learning so much about Lorna and Mason and what they went through as children. This book is much more focused on all the Sparrow women and it fills out their stories and personalities. It is very hard to put down once you start and there are some parts that are hard to read, but Reid is so loving and gentle with Lorna and yet so hard when seeking revenge. Everything seems to be interconnected with Laurel, Mason and Lorna but there are other forces at play and Ms. Romig is a master at weaving it all together and keeping us guessing

Dawn

I am so sad this series is over it feels like my family has left but I feel like that about every series Aleatha Romig writes, but there was something special about this series. Each of the couples had their own unique story and happy ever after but there was definitely something special about Reid and Lorna, especially Lorna. She had been through so much but she remained a caring, loving, nurturer of everyone in her ‘family’. There is a lot of action in this book and some of it is undoubtedly gruesome, but it is not redundant, it adds realism to the plot. There are also some humorous moments and the ending made me cry it was so lovely and ended the series perfectly.

Aleatha Romig's Dangerous Web Trilogy will captivate you from the first word. The story explodes off the pages, immediately grabbing your attention and pulling you into the fray. The action is fast and furious, the writing spectacularly superb, the emotions gut-wrenching and overwhelming. The Sparrow men are back in all their Alpha-glory, bringing their strong, sassy women with them. The Dangerous Web Trilogy is yet another "classic Aleatha" series. If you've read her stories before, you'll know exactly what I mean by that. If you haven't, then grab one and find out. I'm sure, like me, you'll get hooked. Once again, she's at the top of her game here with Reid and Lorna's story. This Trilogy will pull you into the Sparrow realm as the Sparrow men try to unravel who is behind the kidnapping and subsequent release of two of their wives. The emotions and tension run high in their golden tower as they all scramble to help the two women recover from their ordeal and also work to secure the answers they need to exact their revenge on those responsible. I love the darkness in this trilogy, the twists and turns that you don't see coming are beyond exciting. The emotions pouring from the hearts of these characters are palpable and will grab at your heartstrings. You can't help but be caught up in their mission and rooting them on with each turn of the page. The non-stop action and steamy love scenes will keep you enraptured until the end. No doubt the Dangerous Web is going to ensnare us all and then unravel slowly to a spectacular end. Don't miss it!

Reid and Lorna

What a great ending to this series. The first book in this trilogy was a little slow and i didn't like the flash backs to the past. I feel it didn't add to the story as most was played out in the first 3 books of this series. The babies added such a heart felt part to the story and i liked seeing Sterling as a father. I think i would have liked to see him going through the birthing process. Overall this was a great series and i will miss all the characters.

The Sparrow web is a tangled one. There are always a million questions before we get any answers. This is Reid and Lorna’s story. While difficult to read at times, it had my heart racing and brought forth many emotions. Though, overall satisfying, there was one aspect of the storyline I would have liked a few more answers.

Although I have rated each book individually, I wanted to at least put something in for the trilogy. This is Reid and Lorna's story. Lorna has been around since book one and I am glad to finally get her story. For more info please look at each book separately.

4 stars all around for these three books in the Web series and the Sparrow world.

Amazingly addictive! This is Reid’s and Lorna’s journey. Lots of intrigue, suspenseful moments that keep you glued to your seat, exquisite sex time that keep you craving more and most importantly the real and unconditional love that flows between Reid and Lorna. Not only with them do you feel it but with the whole SPARROW family that is ever so present in this outstanding conclusion to the Web Series 🤩! A must read!!!
