my last read of nov!!! the mmc pmo so much but like kinda redeemed himself ?? least fav in the series fs tho
𐙚⋆°。⋆♡ ── pre-read
the first and second book in this series were both so fun!!! i don't particularly care for adam (the mmc in this book) but .... single mom? yes pls!!! he did seem a bit interesting at the end of book 2, and im intrigued to see how he acts in this
Thank you so much at Arndell for the ALC of this series.
I loved this trilogy so much. We meet our MMC in Adam in the first book and he is a cold hearted billionaire. In each book we see a little bit more of him and then we finally got his book. I loved Adam’s love story. Him and Cassidy are perfect. They meet during a one night stand and think they will never see each other again but it turns out Cassidy was hired to work for Adam’s grandfather.
Anna Penny is going to become an auto-buy author for me. She writes the most amazing love stories and really makes you connect with the characters.
This one was a rollercoaster of emotions for me!! Adam has always been a womanizer, nothing was ever more important than his job. He was hard to get to know and even harder to care about, but when Cassidy came into his life, things started to change!
There were SO many reasons I loved this book the most out of the trilogy. Cassidy is a single mother who’s had a hard life. I connected with her character so easily because of her caring nature. I thought some aspects of her job was interested and found myself looking a lot of things up and learning for myself!
The spice in this book 😍😍😍 when I tell you this man reads spicy romance books to connect with Cassidy 🫠 and then TEXTS HER PAGE NUMBERS! Yes please! This man is something else. And then how perfect he is with her son? He won me over!
Yall just need to read this series! June Deborahae brought so much emotion into her narrating! I think he made me love the story so much more! And of course Sean Masters never disappoints!
Thank you to author and Arndell for the ALC of this book!! I’m thankful!
OMG, I'm definitely going to bow down to Ann Penny if I ever met her in person. For the first time EVER, I actually LOVED and totally ATE UP every single book in an entire series. Like the whole Love, Beauty, & Soul trilogy got a solid 5-star from me and I couldn't believe how incredibly written each story was. *still in shock*
Saving Soul was the third and final installment in this series, which revolved around the older brother in the Harlow family, Adam Harlow, the ruthless and cold-hearted billionaire/businessman/womanizer/man-whore we knew all too well about, and the death doula (what a refreshing role), Cassidy Ryan, for his beloved gramps, William "Liam" Harlow II. In the last few weeks of Liam's life, Cassidy was hired to work in the Harlow Manor and prepare both Liam and his family for his upcoming cross-over. As she helped the Harlow family to embrace the inescapable, she secretly thawed the icy cage of Adam's heart...and vice versa. After losing her husband at 25, Cassidy also had her personal demon to face and who knew someone like Adam could be the key to making her feel all the flutter she thought had been buried long time ago?
This book was beyond beautiful, inside and out. I loved how the Harlow family didn't seem to be as terrible and unbearable as they had always been throughout the first two books, and that with Liam and his last wishes, plus the "hallucination" of his late wife, Cassidy and Adam's story brought me so much peace I hadn't found in contemporary romance novels in a while. In a nutshell, please go pick up this entire trilogy, guys!! I promise you will not be disappointed as the series only gets better and better with each couple's journey!
***Massive thanks to the author and Arndell again for the wonderful opportunity to read and listen to this book/series.***
Reading the past two books and learning a little about Adam in them I was so excited to read his story in Saving Soul. Adam is the classic gruff man who swears he'll never settle down. This is a favourite trope of mine. Seeing the man change everything he had planned for his life when he meets the one he was never looking for. Cassidy is such a likeable character. She's doing everything for her son and pushing through her struggles. I loved seeing her work so hard and learn that she can ask for help too, she doesn't need to do it all alone. Cassidy and Adam's connection was so intense, there was no denying it. Seeing them go from one night stand, to enemies, to friends, and then to lovers was everything I wanted from this book. I really enjoyed this last book in the series and rate it 4/5 stars. I recommend it to anyone who loves one night stand, opposites attract, and enemies to lovers romances.
A HUGE thank you to Arndell for sending me this lovely trilogy to read and review for it’s rerelease! I absolutely loved all three and I’m so glad I got the opportunity to read them! Honestly, the beginning of this book scared me and I really thought I was going to hate it because of it, but everything was explained and then I ended up understanding the whole reasoning for it 👀 I loved getting to see the character growth, especially in this book in specific, and how the whole story played out! The grovelling was also impeccable, and I adored the writing and I’m definitely looking forward to reading more by this author 😍
This was a great heartfelt ending to an amazing series. This book was full of all of the human emotions. The narrators for the audiobook were also top tier.
Cassidy is a single mother that is hired to be an end of life doula for a billionaire family. She is determined to turn her life. Then in walks Adam Harlow a billionaire tycoon that is tough to deal with. He has a cold heart and a major attitude problem. Will sparks fly or simmer?
If you enjoy beautifully crafted billionaire romances, this is the book for you. Better yet, this whole Love, Beauty, and Soul series is for you. I really hated to see this series end. It was packed full of all of the emotions, and a true testament that love will always prevail.
Saving Soul, book 3, features Adam Harlow, Grayson's brother and Cassidy Ryan, who has been hired as a death doula for Adam and Grayson's grandfather. This story was equal parts lovely and heartbreaking. Widowed mum trying to look after her family, rich man from a one night stand now your sort of boss.. so good.
Saving Soul is narrated by June Deborahae. I enjoyed the narrator but as an Aussie, the fake Australian accent was so bad 🙈 lucky it was only for parts when Josie spoke, not the whole book
The single parent trope will forever be one of my favourites!!
Seeing Adam (the man who swears he will never settle down) realise that work isn't all that there is to life was honestly lovely.
Watching Cassidy overcome her grief and realise that she doesn't have to do everything alone was amazing as well.
My favourite part of this book was Finn and Adam's relationship. The way they bonded immediately was so sweet. Adam always made sure Finn was included no matter what🫠
Thank you, Arndell and Ann Penny, for the ARC copy🩷
**ALC Review*** Saving Soul (Love, Beauty & Soul #3) by Ann Penny Release Date: 11/11/25 Narrated by June Deborahae & Sean Masters
Adam is a cutthroat businessman, trying to prove himself to his family. When his Grandfather Liam’s health declines, the family hires Cassidy, a "Death Doula", to help with his pain. Surprise! She & Adam recently had a life changing one night stand & now must coexist without crossing lines. Plus, Cassidy is keeping big secrets that are bound to come out and threaten the job that she desperately needs. I really liked this one! Adam is a changed man! I thought he'd be nearly irredeemable from reading the previous books, but he is actually so caring and sensitive.
I liked the female narrator's portrayal of the characters.
4.5⭐ 2.5🌶️
I was provided advanced copies of this series and this is my honest review. Thank you to Arndell Books and author Ann Penny for the ALCs!
Thank you to Arndell Books for providing me an early copy of this audiobook. All opinions are my own.
I fell in love with Grandpa back in Book 1, so when I saw the synopsis for this book, I just knew it was going to be a tearjerker, and I was definitely proven right. 😭 Definitely my favorite of the whole series!
Cassie has been hired by the Harlow family as a Death Doula for their beloved patriarch, Grandpa Liam. In order to get the job, she had to hide the fact that she has a son, and leave him behind with her father while helping care for Liam. But boy is she surprised to find out who Liam’s grandson is, after spending the best night ever with him in Chapter 1…🔥
I had no idea what a Death Doula was before reading this one, and if you’re not aware, they are a person who uses spiritual practices to aid in a person’s end-of-life processes. I’ve always been so in awe of the angels who work in hospice, and I really loved to see what Cassie was able to bring to Liam and his family during this time.
I also really felt for her being separated from her ten-year-old son, especially during the holidays, and unexpectedly got really emotional during some of those trying moments for her.
Adam was definitely a complex character, staring back in book 1, and I’ve been very excited to get to his story because of it, and it was everything I could have wanted and more.
There is just so much I loved about this one, including the characters (new AND old), the storyline, the dealing with grief and emotions, and pretty much just everything about it.
The perfect end to this series, just don’t forget to stock up on tissues. 🤧
Audiobook notes: June Deborahae was absolutely fantastic! Great voices, all the emotion, I just loved everything about her performance (including Josie’s accent! 🙌) HIGHLY recommend this audiobook!
What this book is giving: ✅ Contemporary Romance ✅ (Primarily) Single POV ✅ Death Doula ✅ Playboy ✅ Billionaire ✅ Widow ✅ Single Mom ✅ Grandpa 🥺
What an incredible finale to this trilogy! This book was the perfect way to tie everything together, and I absolutely loved it.
Adam has come such a long way since book one. He might’ve started out as a bit of a womanizer, but the growth we get from him here is just beautiful. He’s broody, guarded, and keeps to himself… until Cassidy. And wow, Cassidy completely stole my heart. She’s a single mom doing everything she can to take care of her son after their world was turned upside down. Her strength and love just shine through every chapter.
This story was a rollercoaster of emotions! Heartfelt, spicy, and so full of healing and connection. Speaking of spice… THE SPICE. 🔥🔥 Adam reading spicy books and highlighting certain pages, then telling Cassidy to check it out….SIGN. ME. UP. The tension between these two was perfection. And when Cassidy flips it on him with her own page number?? Yeah… I was eating. that. up.
The audiobook narration was fantastic too! Sean Masters and June Deborahae did such an amazing job bringing all the emotion and chemistry to life.
If you love a good billionaire romance with heart, heat, and a full-circle ending, this trilogy is it. Start with Capturing Love, move to Finding Beauty, and finish with Saving Soul. You’ll fall for these characters just like I did. Easily one of my favorite romances of 2025. 🤍
E-books and audiobooks are out on November 11
Thank you at Ann Penny and Arndell books for the ARC and ALC
- (secret) single mom widow - billionaire - reformed playboy - forced proximity - one-night stand - 🌶️🌶️.5/5 - single pov
After a lifetime shaped by loss, Cassidy has devoted herself to becoming an end-of-life doula. Her newest client is Liam Harlow, Grayson and Adam's grandfather, who we meet in book one. What she doesn't expect is Adam being her first and only one-night stand a few weeks earlier.
Adam decides to spend more time with his grandfather, which creates plenty of forced proximity and slow-building tension, as Cassidy knows Adam is a playboy and she wants more.
She's also hiding her single-mom status, so you read with that little knot of anticipation, waiting for the moment it's revealed. When it is, Adam handles it with grace, and the bond he builds with Finn is genuinely sweet.
I have loved the messy, tangled emotions in the earlier books, but Cassidy and Adam go back and forth so many times that it starts to feel a bit draining. With such a long book, the repetition stands out, and Adam’s POV would have added the emotional depth needed to elevate the story.
Even so, the premise is fresh, and Cassidy’s role is fascinating. Reiki and energy work are woven into her character, giving the story a unique feel. And saying goodbye to Liam is heartbreaking.
So while this one isn't my top pick of the series, I still recommend the series as a whole if you enjoy complicated, messy love stories.
Well this one started with a bang—literally 😏 Saving Soul had me in my feelings from page one. Out of the whole series, this one is my favorite. Cassidy is an end-of-life doula hired to care for Liam—Adam and Greyson’s grandfather—and I fell in love with that sweet man instantly. Every scene with him had me either smiling or fighting tears.
Cassidy’s a single mom doing everything she can to build a stable life for her son. So of course the universe throws her one wild, spicy night with a stranger. And THAT’S where things get messy in the best way.
Adam has been the cold, grumpy billionaire since book one, but Cassidy walks into his life and suddenly he’s a whole different man. Their chemistry and tension is delicious. But the way I wanted to shake him during parts of this book! 👊🏻
One thing I absolutely loved was how books become part of their connection. Cassidy escapes into romance novels, and the fact that Adam—Mr. Iceberg Billionaire himself—starts picking up the same books just to understand her better? Sending her page numbers and wanting to talk about the scenes? That was next-level swoony.
Cassidy and Adam’s story was everything I wanted—raw, messy, and hot enough to make me fan myself.
I loved Adam’s character when he was introduced in Book 1, Capturing Love. Saving Soul is his story, along with Cassidy’s. I adore Cassidy, who is an empath and sister to Josie’s friend, Amy. Now, in Book 3, I have learned that the angsty stories Author Ann Penny writes don’t just focus on the two characters, but they touch throughout the plot. What I’m saying is, Saving Soul made me cry. Other family members who had upset me in the earlier books evolved. And some made me sob. I thought Books 1 and 2 were angsty, but Book 3 was a doozy.
Cassidy’s character was quite refreshing, bringing sunshine into Adam’s life and his family. I love the Adam. The changes he underwent from Book 1 to this one were remarkable. The special things he did for Cassidy were out of his nature, and I loved that.
Thank you to Arndell and Author Ann Penny for the gifted copy. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Cassidy is a single mom who’s just landed a job as an end of life doula for a billionaire. When she arrives and meets the family, she’s shocked to discover that Adam, a man she shared one unforgettable night with, is also a part of it. Adam’s behavior toward Cassidy swings between hot and cold, but their chemistry is undeniable. As they navigate their complicated connection, they’re also faced with intense family dynamics that make their journey anything but easy.
I loved watching their relationship unfold, it was emotional, heartfelt, and full of ups and downs that kept me hooked from start to finish. The narrator, June Deborahae, did an incredible job bringing each character to life with her performance. This story will take you on an emotional rollercoaster, and it’s an absolute must listen!
Thank you, Ann Penny and Arndell Books for the ARC/ALC.
i listened to the audio of this, and it kept me engaged the whole way through!
adam and cassidy were cute together but i’m more of a slow burn girlie, and they tended to lean more towards instant attraction which made me unable to connect with them as much as i wanted to. the book also talked a lot about crystals and shaman/reiki stuff which i’m personally not a fan of. but if that’s your thing, then you’d probably love this one!!!!
read if you like — • single mother x reformed playboy • one night stand to lovers • forced proximity • grief & healing
thank you arndell for gifting me an alc in exchange for my honest review 🫶🏻
Saving Soul was such a satisfying and emotional finish to the series! I loved finally getting to watch Adam stumble his way into love — still a bit of a jerk about it, of course but that’s exactly what made seeing his growth so rewarding. And damn does he know his way around a spicy scenes 🥵😂
This book delivered so much closure for everyone. It tied together the threads of the series in a way that felt thoughtful and genuinely heartfelt. And Liam… I was so sad to see him go but his legacy was beautiful. By the end, it felt like every character had the chance to make amends, heal, and step forward.
A great read and an even better send off to a series I’ve truly enjoyed.
Like the first two books, there were tears shed, gasps and laugh out loud moments!
I was really hoping we would get Adam's love story, and this did not disappointment. Cass is a single mum who is working as a death doula for the Harlow family. After a one night stand, fate has brought Adam and Cass back together again.
This book was touching, heartfelt, emotional and a perfect end to this series 💕
You guys...I cannot put this series down! Dare I say that I have found myself a new autobuy author. This series is everything I didn't know I needed in my life and I'm forever obsessed with them! Adam was a character I was so intrigued by and I was blown away by this character arc.
What you'll get: - One night stand...revisted - She's there to take care of his dying grandfather - Single mom - Emotional - He's a billionaire
LOVED ITTTT. 💗 This one was the BEST one in this series. Adam was MY MAN, he was the man i was waiting for and he didn't disappoint. Obviously the hot and coldness nonsense he gave off was annoying BUT by the end I just loved him and Cassidy together. This was such a great ending for this series and all of these characters. And I'm honestly going to miss it all. 🫶💓
Saving Soul Book 3 in the Love, Beauty, and Soul Series Rating: 5⭐️ Spice: 1.5🌶️
It’s really over? I’m not ready to say goodbye to this series. The emotional connection it brought me is beyond words. Saving Soul had me feeling everything. I wasn’t expecting to cry, but WOW those moments with the sweetest grandpa in the world absolutely broke me.
Ann has done it again! She’s created characters that completely capture your heart. Adam, the workaholic playboy who only lived for business never saw Cassidy coming. The one night stand who ended up being his saving grace. I admire Cassidy so much for the sacrifices she made to build a life for her and her son. These two were fighting a losing battle with their hearts, because deep down, they were each other’s missing piece all along.
And Grandpa Liam… my heart still aches for him and his family. The love and bond he shared with his grandsons and the women in their lives was the sweetest thing ever. Seeing how every single character has grown since book one just filled my heart to the brim.
If you’re ready for a single mom and billionaire romance packed with family drama, deep emotions, and the most lovable grandpa you’ll ever meet add Saving Soul to your TBR now! ❤️
Thank you so much Ann and Arndell for this ALC!
Tropes •single mom/billionaire romance •close proximity •found family •sweet grandpa •one night stand turned more •surprise workplace romance
Widow Cassidy Ryan is just trying to keep as roof over her and her sons head so when she gets a job in the Hamptons she goes. She is supposed to be an end-of-life doula for William ‘Liam’ Harlow II. One thing, he is apparently the grandson of her one night stand, Adam Harlow. They may be from completely different worlds but together they might just work. A sweet and emotional romance about a second chance at love. Adam is Grayson’s brother from book one, Capturing Love, so they can be read as stand alone but it does help reading them in order. Characters from previous books do make some appearances. Cozy up to a sweet, heartfelt romance. Told in first person and Cassidy’s POV.
Can I just say…this book has my heart! While I cannot recommend the Love, Beauty & Soul series enough, Cassidy and Adam’s story was hands down my favourite.
✨ Cassidy Ryan is a single mother in need of a fresh start. Employed by an elderly billionaire as an end-of-life doula, life is good, until she comes face-to-face with an overprotective grandson.
Adam Harlow, renowned womaniser and cold, ruthless businessman, has no patience for the woman his beloved grandfather has hired. Even more so when she turns out to be the woman he’d spent an incredible night with only weeks prior.
Secrets, grief and passion pull them closer, but Cassidy must choose: protect her future or risk it all for the one man she was never meant to love.
✨Wow…the slow burn between Cassidy and Adam is absolutely delicious 🔥 Their connection and the way Adam slowly lets his guard down with Cassidy *chefs kiss*.
The setting, the library (I need!!) and the character growth was all so beautiful. It was more of an emotional read than the prior two books, but was the perfect ending to a fabulous series.
Penny has a writing style I adore and is definitely an autobuy author for me now. Will I be buying shelf trophies when they release…absolutely yes! Was the narration of each book amazing…also absolutely yes!
Capturing Love is available now in audio and ebook formats. Thank you to @annpenny.author and @arndellbooks for gifted ALCs and digital ARCs.
Saving Soul, the third book in the Love, Beauty and Soul series, delivers a powerful and deeply emotional conclusion to the trilogy. Adam and Cassidy’s story is rich with passion, heartbreak, growth, and healing, and it captured my attention from the very beginning. My favorite from the series!
This follows Cassidy, a devoted single mother who has accepted a position as an end of life caregiver for Adam’s grandfather. She arrives determined to maintain her professionalism, only to discover that the man she once shared a passionate and unforgettable night with is the grandson of her new client. Their reunion places her in a position where she must protect her job and her heart at the same time.
From that point on, their connection only intensifies. Cassidy’s sensitive and nurturing nature contrasts beautifully with Adam’s severe focus on work and his long habit of keeping people at arm’s length. As they spend more time together, their interactions grow increasingly charged with understanding, humor, and longing. Adam begins to confront the emotional walls he has built, and his gradual shift toward vulnerability is one of the most satisfying parts of the entire series.
The story is filled with striking moments, especially those involving Grandpa Liam, whom I just ADORE. His presence adds history, wisdom, and tenderness to the narrative, and the scenes surrounding him are some of the most touching in the book. Cassidy’s role in his life brings comfort during a difficult time, and the impact of her work is portrayed with great care and respect.
Cassidy is such a lovable heroine. She is resilient, compassionate, and dedicated to giving her son the best life she can manage. Her journey is full of pressure, sacrifice, and quiet perseverance. She's so amazing. Adam’s transformation is just as compelling though. He may begin as a man consumed by ambition and old family expectations, but Cassidy’s presence reveals his softer instincts and his capacity to love deeply. The chemistry between them is undeniable, and the intimate scenes are both thoughtful and intense. AND DELICIOUS.
The pacing keeps the story engaging, with family tensions, emotional breakthroughs, and romantic moments woven together in a way that feels both dramatic and uplifting. It is easy to become fully invested in their relationship, especially as old misunderstandings and long-held fears rise to the surface.
The audiobook is equally impressive, with the best emotional performance yet from June Deborahae. She delivers a heartfelt performances that capture the emotion of every chapter. And of course Sean Masters is great yet again (but most of the narration is June). Their narration gives each character dimension and makes the experience even more immersive.
Saving Soul offers a beautiful combination of romance, family conflict, healing, and personal growth. It is a moving finale that ties the trilogy together while giving Adam and Cassidy a love story that feels hard won and deeply deserved. A great ending to this series that I'm so happy I discovered!
📚Saving Soul by Ann Penny 🎙️June DeBorahae with Epilogue read by Sean Masters
SOLO NARRATION
Story 4.25 ⭐ Narration 5 HUGE ⭐ Book 3 in The Love, Beauty & Soul Series
Thank you Ann Penny and Ardnell Books for a #gifted copy of the ARC & ALC. All thoughts are my own.
Cassidy Ryan is a widowed single mother struggling to make a stable life for her son. Her life & finances have been destroyed after her late husband lost his job just as he needed insurance to treat a life threatening illness, thus contributing to his death & leaving her alone to raise their baby alone. She accepts a job as a live-in, end of life doula for a very wealthy man, with the hopes that this salary will give her the fresh start she needs.
when Cassidy arrives she's completely shocked to discover that the job she's taken is for Adam Harlow, the grandson of the man she is caring for. He's extremely hot & cold, unfeeling & is very guarded. But he's also the very rich, sexy billionaire that she had an unforgettable one-night stand with just weeks before. It was a night she's never forgotten & one that Adam hasn't either.
This reconnection drags them into all kinds of complications that are emotionally charged & they have to learn to navigate their feelings of guilt, attraction, grief & family obligations before they can even see if this is something that will even work. Adam especially is forced to face his fears about relationships & love. He has to decide if he's willing to lay it all out on the line & risk everything for this beautiful woman that he's fallen completely in love with.
I have REALLY enjoyed this series & each book builds on the next one with a found family that you come to really love but Adam, this guy put me on the struggle bus, NGL. There was a time or two, I just wanted Cassidy to just drop his butt. He acted so immature & irrational BUT...as the story progresses you find out WHY! He really tested my patience though!🙄 There's quite a bit of character growth especially from him & I appreciated this because Adam needed a good woman in his life to set him straight, so thank goodness for Cassidy. The HEA is beautiful & I ended this book all up in my feelings over these two.
🎙️Let talk audio: This was my first audio with June & YOU GUYS!!!! Her voice is AMAZING! Oh, I loved listening to her tell this heart tugging story. She's extremely talented & I can hardly wait to listen to another from her. She voices every character & she just does such an amazing job. Cassidy has such a warmth & goodness to her and June brings that ALL out in her performance. The grief she's suffered over her husbands death, the wildly electric but complicated relationship she has with Adam was gripping. Her voice is SO pleasant to listen to. Sean once again read a beautiful epilogue & his portrayal of Adam really made me fall in love with these two even more. I just absolutely loved it!
This series is chock full of emotional gut punches. There are some beautiful story lines & characters I really grew to love. I'm SO glad I had the opportunity to read & review this beautiful trilogy from Ann Penny.
Book three in the Love, Beauty & Soul series. Thank you to Ann Penny and Arndell for providing me with the ARC and ALC to read/listen to and review.
✨Blurb:✨ Cassidy Ryan is a strong, devoted single mother determined to give her son the fresh start they need. This is her chance to get them back on their feet and everything seems to be going to plan until she comes face-to-face with his overprotective grandson.
Adam Harlow, is cold, ruthless, and has no patience for the woman hired to support his beloved grandfather. And when she turns out to be the gorgeous blonde he’d spent an incredible night with only weeks prior, it only fuels his fire.
Their connection is electric, but Cassidy isn’t prepared to risk her job for the notorious womanizer, even though he gave her a night of passion and freedom she’ll never forget. But, the closer they get, the deeper their souls entwine, until they’re forced to face their fears.
As grief, secrets, and undeniable passion pull them closer, Cassidy must choose: protect her future or risk it all for the one man she was never meant to love.

🎧Audiobook performed by June Deborahae with Sean Masters narrating the epilogue. June gave a beautifully heartfelt performance of this solo POV audiobook. Her narration style was engaging and emotional. Exactly what this audiobook needed. Sean’s epilogue narration in Adam’s POV finally gave insight to the character that was a bit of a mystery throughout the series. Another favorite of his audiobooks.
✨Thoughts:✨ Everything about this book was perfection. I loved Cassidy. She was vulnerable yet had such quiet strength. Her fear of falling in love again was such a visceral emotion that I couldn’t help but feel her hesitation right along with her. This book made me laugh and made me cry. I loved reading about Adam falling hard for Cassidy. And don’t get me started on how perfect he was with Finn!! Obviously the book was about Cassidy and Adam’s journey together, but her scenes with Liam and how she gave him dignity and advocated for him as he neared his end… so heartbreakingly good! Love love love this one. Any chance for an epilogue? I can’t say goodbye to these characters!
Thank you, Ann Penny and the Arndell team, for the ARC of Saving Soul 💌📚✨ — ✨ What to Expect: 💰 Billionaire Romance ❤️🔥 One Night Stand ➡️ Enemies ➡️ Lovers 👩👦 Single Mom Strength 🏠 Forced Proximity 🌱 Emotional & Personal Growth 🪞 Opposites Attract 💬 Deep, heartfelt emotion 💫 Healing, redemption, and family
This one was a rollercoaster of emotions, and I loved every second of it!
Adam Harlow has always been the charming womanizer, the billionaire who keeps everyone at arm’s length and buries himself in work. I wasn’t sure I’d ever care for him the way I did for Grayson, his brother, but Saving Soul completely changed that. Ann Penny shows a side of Adam we’ve never seen before: vulnerable, protective, and quietly breaking under the weight of grief and guilt.
Then there’s Cassidy Ryan, strong, devoted, and impossible not to love. As a single mother trying to build a new life for her son, her determination and warmth shine on every page. Her role as an end-of-life doula adds a deeply emotional layer to the story; I found myself fascinated by it and even looking things up to learn more. It’s such a unique, heartfelt element that gives the book incredible depth.
From their fiery first encounter to the tension of being forced together again, Adam and Cassidy’s chemistry is undeniable. Their connection goes beyond attraction; it’s healing, soul-deep, and filled with moments that made me ache and swoon in equal measure. Watching them slowly open up to each other, learning to trust and love again, was everything.
Out of the trilogy, Saving Soul might just be my favorite. It’s raw, beautifully written, and overflowing with heart. Ann Penny closes this series with a story about grief, forgiveness, and the power of love to mend even the most broken parts of us.
If you love enemies-to-lovers, billionaire redemption arcs, and emotionally charged single-parent romances, Saving Soul will absolutely stay with you long after you turn the last page. 🥹💞
